A great programme to come from ABC although I live in the UK I'm watching it on BBC TWO. Its like X-Men just that they discover rather than already have.

What weird is that I have cheated death too much and I have seen the future, which I can't explain but it's true.

Hi, I know that you probably won't read this post but I want to take my chance.
I'm a french teenager, and I only had theatre lessons, I'm not famous and all that, but I'd like to say that my dream is to work with you on Heroes, and if it was possible I would do anithing to do it.
I know it's stupid, I'm not a particular fan of heroes, but I want to play in it.

I'm from South Africa and just started watching the show, and I think it's great. And living in Africa sometimes means ages for a second season to reach SA's shores. So plz don't make it so the show expensive so I don't have to wait so long for more episodes. What an truly amazing show.

This has been a really great concept and execution but one thing that really irriates me is Mohinder Suresh is from Madras(chennai) and he speaks only English not a word of Tamil while Hiro speak lots of Japanese.

Also the set (when in India) has only Hindi writing and seems very North Indian. For me this detracts from the auhenticity a little. It seems an obivious oversight considered how well everything else is researched. With so many Indians helping with the production clearly someone could have pointed out this error. I wish it could be rectified for the next Season.

Its been a great show.. didnt like the ending of season 1 too much. A bit predictable and a bit lame but the show has been good. Just stop with all these breaks, its going to lose my interest the same way 24 and Lost did. The only show i now bother to watch is CSI cus it concludes each show, but has a continious story of each character throughout each episode.

Btw, if you guys want to put in a few new characters my acting skills are at your disposal, drop me an email. I'll be the blonde white teenager in Singapore with some other 'special' ability (would be cool to film outside of Japan and US) and not stereotype too much with asians in Asia, but would be interesting with a twist of having a white guy (same age as character Claire) living in Asia. Thanks guys!

Why such a long time span waiting for the next season!?

You did this during the first season as well creating a big gap while waiting for the final episodes. The gap was too long which interupted the natural flow of "getting-into" the show!

Now you are doing it again by waiting until September! If you think that this will create "anticipation" for the show, you are wrong! What it will do is create a loss of interest. It also causes people to loose where the timeline is casuing them to have to try and "catch" previous episodes to try to figure out what is going on!

Keep it going while you have the peoples interest or you may end up with a canceled show!

i've watched lost, dexter, and now heroes...and dexter is by far the best...heroes caught my attention but with this lame ending to season one...not really looking forward to watching more episodes...the writing was pretty good throughout and to have wrapped up season one this way is, to say the least, disappointing. Very creative script throughout and gave it all away at the end. No creativity at all...and once again, Sylar, still alive? Please...So freakin lame...Peter flies up with Nathan?...gimme a break...they had a chance to have a great showdown(peter and Sylar)and instead, nothing...no creativity...Did you guys run out of budget? I'm sooo turned off by this type of writing...same as Lost!!! great idea to start but writing just seems to fail at some pt throughout. An elementary school kid could have come up with something better...no doubt.

Peter isn't dead. I read in the paper an interview he had where he said that his character wouldn't die, at least for awhile if he ultimately does end up dying.

Remember that in the future Peter had exploded and survived, so he'll do it again. He probably couldn't fly up himself because he was being so overloaded by the nuclear power. Plus, they needed something dramatic to express Nathans change of mind.

Just like to say also that Heroes is quite possibly my favourite TV show, ever. Eagerly awaiting more episodes.

I have a unique question. Who was the one person Molly could not locate because they ca see her? I know it wasn't Sylar. Can/t wait to see who the new vilan will be and what will happen to the brothers. I hope they come back because I hope that was their blood on the sewer cap and not Sylars. I still have questions - why couldn't Peter fly himself out of the atmosphere? How did Peter's ability to love save the world? It seems his brother's ability to love is what did it. Also, since the cheerleader ultimately couldn't shoot Peter, how did she "save the world". I felt the ending left us a little deflated. Even with that, it is a great show. Thank you.

Eh, I don't know about this final episode. There's to many flaws in it. This show has been well written all season long, I was a bit surprised by the ending. The problem I'm having is that a lot of people don't understand why it ended the way it did and to have that many people not understand is bad writing. Even if the answers where to be there in season 2, they left season one with a whimper not a bang.

Oh boy, fantastic! In love with the show and the cast and of course the writers.

Love to see as many characters back; especially Sylar!

One more thing I forgot, Im not sure why the writers didnt choose other ways of stopping Peter without making him and Nathan die. The season has provided otherways of stopping him, But these are 2 of the best characters, please find a way to have them survive. And the officer who Sylar threw bullets at, I swear I hope he was wearing a bullet proof vest, he was warned how dangerous Sylar was. Oh, 1 thing did disappoint me, Sylar should be dead, Hiro should have taken off his head. If there is someone worst then Sylar then why was he allowed to live? Ok, I shared my 2cents. Thanks for a terrific season.

I LOVES THIS SHOW SOOOOOOOOO MUCH MORE AFTER LAST NITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 favorite shows, Deal or No Deal, Grey's Anatomy, And Heroes! After the wonderfully designed, answered Every single question I had all season long, such a beautiful, and drum roll please....HAPPY ENDING, I lie to you not, I was full blown crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As a result Heroes is my #1 favorite show now. I auditioned for Deal or No deal and won the million in the mock show, Im waiting for the call back for the Real show. Ive sent in flyers via email that says Save the Wedding, Call the Bride! with me as a southpark Heroes character. It is hysterical, but DEAL or No Deal producers know I LOVE HEROES, AND Hayden is my favorite character. As are Peter. Thank you for sending your fans off for the summer with every question answered, with a happy ending and NOT breaking our hearts and keeping us hanging all summer long wondering about questions we had all season long. I HATE when shows, break your heart then end for the summer (i.e. Grey's) that's why they are #3 with me now. I hope to meet either the writers or Claire and Peter one day. Your characters have a piece of my heart forever. When my life is filled with drama, you give me an hour to escape my madness and care about nothing but the Heroes characters. WE LOVE HEROES!!!! This is the best show ever and is SOOOO much better than LOST. We have a lot to say: First of all, who is this person who is "far worse than Syler?" we think the possibilities are: 1)Peter and Nathan's dad...They never developed his story. He is probably not dead. Plus for him to give birth to individuals as great as Peter and Nathan, he must be pretty POWERFUL - and someone that powerful does not just kill himself; 2)Peter and Nathan's Mom could be the second possiblity. She is so RUTHLESS! She has no concerns about her son Peter dying in the bomb in order for Nathan to be great. I think she has some serious powers that we are not aware of yet. She could easily be the one 'far worse than Sylar'.
NEXT, how in the world did Simone's dad see Peter and talk to him from the past!!!?? Peter must have Hiro's ability to travel thru time so why did he not travel through space and blow up?
THEN, was Nathan's heroic act in the Finale really genuine? or is it part of the big plan? It seemed like an interesting twist at first but I would not put it past him. FINALLY, Sylar's escape was lame...someone, like Bennett should have cut his head off. We welcome comments on these theories...We look forward to Season 2.

Many of the (proper) comments on here I agree with. I don't understand how you can tease us in episode 20 with the Sylar v Peter battle we only begin to see before its gone.. then not do it at the end of the season :( I hold Heroes in the same boat as Prison Break now.. I'll watch the first episode of the next season.. if it doesn't blow me away, that'll be it for me :(

I didn't read every comment on here, but I did catch one that said some of what I wanted to say. Jim Smith around the seventh post stated how silly it was that Sylar and Peter have awesome powers but use almost none. Hiro does stab Sylar but could've been stopped. Yes it was obvious that Sylar wanted to be stopped but he didn't look that way at the end. Hiro could now control his powers, teleport back to that moment and teleport Peter to an abandoned desert. Nathan can fly, so fly as high as possible and get out of dodge and Peter can fall to Earth hand regenerate. Yes, Nathan deserved to die but that was kind of too easy. Yes, I know that Season 2 needs to be set up, but Molly throwing a random curve ball, "There's someone worse than Sylar but let's focus on ending this season"? What was that? And the worst of all, it was proven more than once that being knocked unconscious was good enough to stop the nuclear reaction. Ted was stopped with tranquilizers, and Peter passed out and stopped going nuclear. Why couldn't Jessica use super strength to knock him into a coma? Why couldn't anyone just knock him out somehow? Heck, jam something into his head like the shard of glass and pull it out later in some lead cell like Ted wanted. You insinuated the death of the BEST character in the series, but let Sylar live. I understand that answers the question of why the future was still messed up, but Micah and DL didn't die, why did everything else seem to follow that storyline? That's just what I've come up with in the passed 5 minutes since I watched it. I WAS looking forward to buying the DVD, and I don't usually buy DVDs of TV shows. But after this, I'm not sure anymore. Maybe next season will answer some of these questions or all, or maybe it just wasn't in the budget to get it right, or maybe it's just execs once again hooking an audience, reaping the benefits and walking away without a care. But the saddest part is that it worked, I am hooked and I probably will watch next season. But the disappointment is overwhelming right now. I don't watch much TV, the only exceptions: Heroes and Dexter. This last episode reminded me why.

I loved this show but the finale left a bitter taste in my mouth. Sylar was stabbed that easily?? And all he did was throw a few people round and stop a few bullets? And then they just left him there and didn't think of checking to see if he was actually dead?

What a complete cop out. I know you have budget constraints but the Peter v Sylar thing is what the fans truly wanted to see. I'm sure you have lost a lot of fans and watchers.

Hereos is FANTASTIC! I know your season is over. However, I've been wanting and trying to get into a scripted show. I work in production and would LOVE to work on the Heroes Production. I know this is a bit unconventional, but neither is your show. I am resourceful and creative, though.

I love Heroes. I mean, L-O-V-E HEROES!!! I have been SO into this show but the last episode was a disappointment, riddled with narrative inconsistencies. A whole season building to a climactic battle between good and evil embodied in Peter and Sylar. Two SUPER superheroes that have dozens, if not tens of dozens of powers between them and instead, peter punches sylar 3 times, thug-style. If I'd wanted Sopranos, I'd have watched Sopranos. And then Hiro appears and runs 10 feet towards a man that can stop speeding bullets and manages to stab him? Come on! You spent a year developing fantastic SUPERpowered Characters! USE THEM!!! Kring and Co were geniuses in creating a storyline of literally limitless possibilities and then squandered it by utilizing NONE of them. I'll watch next season but please redeem what up till a few minutes ago was a REALLY good show.

This by far, has been the best show on in a looonng time! Thanks to NBC for being smart enough to pick it up,thanks to the cast and crew for making it work and a big thanks to Tim Kring for knowing something else was needed out there!

Okay, so how is it that ALL of those cops and the heroes themselves neglect to notice that Sylars' body is no longer in a pool of blood? You would think, that policemen who are cleaning up the scene would noticed this dragged blood stain and the half open man hole. Now, what would have been better, IMO, would be to have put Sylar in a body bag adn have the ambulance take him away, and voila! the end of season one. Then when you go back to his story you can have him blow up the ambulance and escape that way! Then you woulda had all your fans incredibly confused for the whole summer and then struck dumb in the fall. So, my question is, I'm sure the writers thought of this scenario why was it not favoured?

Please bring Milo back, and everyone else, even Sylar. But Milo for sure. The ending is simply better than any of those huge blockbuster movies I have ever seen. I DVRed it and watched it 3 times tonight already, it is that good. (Yes, I have a very busy life)

The last show was great and I can't wait for season 2!! Just a message to you Hayden, stay pure don't turn in to some fake brat! You have talent but don't let it go to your head. Several people have asked why Peter didn't just fly away himself. I thought the writers did an excellent job of explaining it right in character - though I didn't pick it up the second time. Peter actually said to Nathan or Claire - "I can't stop it" "I can't do anything".
He was hitting overload and couldn't control it, like in his dream. No mystery, no dramatic license... consistent in my mind.

After all, if he'd had the control to fly or teleport or time travel, why wouldn't he just have stopped himself from becoming the Exploding Man? He needed the help. And I personally think he needed his big brother to be a Hero.

The writers seem to have forgotten the powers of those they have written. Peter can fly as bestowed, regenerate as bestowed. Why sacrifice a character for dramatic purpose? If Peter can fly. Why not fly away from the dense population of a major metropolitan when nuclear detonation is at stake? You don't need to sacrifice your brother to do so...Dr. Manhattan has spoken
