Listening to Fan Opinions

Tim: The truth is, we try not to spend a lot of time worrying about the fan input because we are often very far ahead in terms of where are stories are from where the fans are watching the show - often 10 weeks ahead. So often, when they're responding to something, we've already moved past that or answered their questions, which makes it hard to engage in a dialog cause we're in a different place.

But what we try and do is listen to the general trends of what fans are saying about the show so we can gauge if we're connecting with them. But in terms of specifics of the show, we don't really try to gleam too much from peoples' suggestions on the boards.

I love Heroes. I mean, L-O-V-E HEROES!!! I have been SO into this show but the last episode was a disappointment, riddled with narrative inconsistances. A whole season building to a climactic battle between good and evil embodied in Peter and Sylar. Two SUPER superheroes that have dozens, if not tens of dozens of powers between them and instead, peter punches sylar 3 times, thug-style. If I'd wanted Sopranos, I'd have watched Sopranos. And then Hiro appears and runs 10 feet towards a man that can stop speeding bullets and manages to stab him? Come on! You spent a year developing fantastic SUPERpowered Characters! USE THEM!!! Kring and Co were geniuses in creating a storyline of literally limitless possibilities and then squndered it by utilizing NONE of them. I'll watch next season but please redeem what up till a few minutes ago was a REALLY good show.

hayden, i have a question for you. whats your relationships like with your castmates? do you hang out with milo or noah gray cabey or get your feet tickled while getting pedicures with ali larter? what do you want to do on vacation? you should visit enfield CT. I'd love to meet you!

The man the tracker can't find....very interesting

This was an awful season finale. Please explain why Claire is saddened by shooting a guy who will have regenerated in 5 minutes or less. There are so many plot holes that it's obvious you don't stick to the rules you set within the show.

This past season was great! You all did a wonderful job, the acting and the story line were amazing. Thank you for taking the fans on a wonderful journey and i'm sure i speak for everyone when i say, we look forward to the next season!

Peter is weak. Every time he faces Sylar, Sylar beats the crap out of him. It doesn't help your audience identify with him.

Did the drastic change in Matt's storyline from the Comic Con cut to the actual show hurt planning out his character devlopment at all?
Cause most of the time it really felt like you were trying to squeeze him in there wherever you could to make up for the other story with him that you dropped.

what about the eclipse thats in the "o" in Heroes and in the beginning of volume 2?

that's a really good process. What I really like is the "Origins" idea, it's gonna be awesome to see how these powers affect people around the globe, and to see what new, unique powers you and the other writers can come up with.

I really need to know if you believe that people have special abilitys Tim, please answer me its important!
