Crossing Jordan vs Heroes

Tim: The two shows are totally different species. So each episode was a stand-alone episode that allowed you to break stories in different ways. So a writer could come in with a great idea and write that idea. We don't have that luxury on Heroes since each story is so connected to the episode before it on Heroes. Which means that every story can effect the next story. Which also means you have to be much more diligent about story lines since one thread can unravel a whole run of episodes. So in that way, it's a much more difficult kind of story breaking to do on a show like Heroes.

In terms of production, Crossing Jordan had a standing set of the morgue where we were able to shoot 5 or 6 days out of each 8 day episode. On Heroes we don't have very many standing sets, which means we're on location a lot of the time or building sets. Which means it logistically much more difficult.

Which one is more satisfying? Both are tremendously satisfying...having a show on the air in this extremely competitive industry is incredibly satisfying.

the finale wasnt all that to be honest

In my humble opinion, this season finale was a bit disappointing. The writers here definately do a great job of dragging this thing out. The fact that Sylar is still not dead is just mind boggling. To think that we may have to look forward to this villain for another season kinda upsets me. And why was this finale only 1 hour? All of the other great series' have 2 hour finales. Makes me wonder...

Hey, Im a huge fan of Heroes. Its the only show I watch consistently. Anyway, I've been hearing about Heroes: Origins and from what I've gathered, it should be interesating. Do you think you could explain it a little more, though? Whats it about? Who's in it?

Did I miss something? Why didn't Claire just shoot Peter? I thought he could heal himself.

Even though certain things were changed to avoid the future Hiro saw... that future can still be possible with the ending showing the Sylar is still alive.. The girl who can shape shift is not dead just knocked out therefore Sylar can still come back and take on Nathan's identity and still continue with his plan. I love the way that this show makes you think of the possibilities and try to make up your own ending.

What happened to the woman who could get satelite signals.. one episode she was there the next poof gone.. just wondering?

My question is , is season two going to take a turn like X-men did where magneto allied with the x-men to battle apocalypse, but in this case the not so dead Sylar would team up with *team petrelli* to battle the BAD guy that that little girl saw ?

I can't believe I almost passed up this great show :) Congrats on a great season!!!

My question is (if you get to it) what kind of special features can we look forward to on the Season 1 DVD?

1. Why did Mr. Petrelli commit suicide? As we know, he had depression and his life had been ruined when Austin (Linderman) claimed Mr. Petrlli lied. But later, Linderman came back and Mr. Petrelli and him resolved the issue……so why the suicide?

2. Who was the plumber sent by, if Primatech / the OWI had already sent Eden McCain / Sarah Ellis?

3. Where did Claude go, and is he coming back?

4. Why does Sylar need Mohinder and “The List”??? In Episode 3, when Mohinder went to Sylar’s apartment, he sees that Sylar HAS a map that has MORE specials then Chandra’s did. So why does he need Mohinder?

5. If Sylar takes Peter’s power, does Sylar get the ability to absorb powers, or ALL of the abilities Peter previously absorbed or BOTH?

6. Why did Primatech / the OWI only take Nathan at the hotel in Episode 4? Mr. Bennet says, “Just take the one.”, which means he KNEW Niki was a special as well…so why not both?

Wasn't Crossing Jordan canceled?

Since Simone's father had a power does that mean that Simone possibly had a power that did not awaken just yet in her?

Crossing Jordan is a decent show, but it seems like previous seasons were better (to me at least).

Also, the washed-out color look (not too pale but I can notice a little) isn't the best...

i don't know...i think heroes is much more addicting. my friend watched the first 22 episodes in like, 2 days so she would be caught up for the finale.
