Hi there, I downloaded this antivirus software, and paid L40 for the subscription fee. Ok, question. Seeing as how I am so late - - I just finished Season 1. I have a question - - In the 2nd to last episode, Hiro goes into the future, 5 years after the bomb explodes and says he stab Sylar but he had the cheerleaders power and regenerated so he didn't die.....But then you see Claire pretending to be a waitress named Sandra about to get married and Peter with a scar & boyfriend of Niki/Jessica....Is that a mess up on the series or did I miss something? Tim you're brilliant!!! This season has been the most extraordinary phenomenon. The finale had me totally sobbing. The build up throughout and the anticipation that NYC would blow up, never knowing exactly how. To end with Nathan and Peter leaving and saving the world together was heart-wrenching and touching. It totally floored me and because I feel invested in the characters I was so sad. I can't wait for Volume 2!!!! P.S. Could the symbol be half of double helix?

My son & I love the show. We are Big fans & never missed an episode. The season finale was Awesome & the series Outstanding!!!!! But,why wasn't it 2 hrs long, we were told it would be on last week's episode???!!! We were really looking forward to it. Is Sylar still alive & will he be in season #2? But,how can he be alive if he can't regenerate? Peter can,is he still alive? I'm glad Nathan stood up to his mom & helped the good heros. He turned out to be good after all. I knew the heros had to all work together to stop Sylar Can't wait for season 2,Generations!!! Congratulations on a fantastic show/season!

Wow. Wow, wow, wow! I have always loved this show, ever since I first saw it. It is so complx and completely original. Tim Kring, you are an absolute genius!!! how do you come up with it? Every episode is amazing. Just when i think that it is truly impossible for it to get any better, it becomes more fabulous than i thought possible. It is my favorite thing ever! I love how little details become so important and how nothing is insignificant. It is mindblowing! This summer is going to torture me. I mean, I have to wait that long AND I have so many questions!

Sylar should not be alive anymore!! He has been killed! And what does he do with the brains anyway? Who is this mysterious guy who can see Molly? That's scary. Um, you can't kill Peter! PLease let him be alive! The show needs a good guy! If the bad guy is still here, we need the good guy! (especially considering the fact that the President of the United States of America sacrificed his life for him! That's gotta count for SOMETHING, right?!) I'll save my other questions for inside my head (partly because i can't think straight and partly because I'd be lucky to know even one of the answers to my already written questons) and move on to the flattery...

You are amazing, Tim. The storyline you created stretches the boundaries of human behaviour and your characters have so much depth that you can't heelp but love them all (you even got me to briefly feel sorry for Sylar, and i am someone who can hold a serious grudge...). Your genius leaves me stunned.

My whole family loved HEROES from day one. Our ages range from 11-62. We think it's the best series on TV!

(we also loved Tim Krings Crossing Jordan)

Our families biggest Questions/Theories:

1. Did Sylar dissapear or was his body taken?

2. Did Peter absorb all of Sylars powers?

3. Did Peter and/or Nathan surive the explosion?

I wanted to try and pass my regards on while I had this chance. I have a genetic disorder, Ehlers Danlons Syndrome. It means pain and embarassment for me. It is like most mutations. Your show wasn't the first by any means to feature the idea of genetic mutation but it was the first in a long while to show 'powers' or mutations as unwanted. And to allow the most important elements of the show to be the human drama that is experienced by normal people living with an abnormal set of circumstances. This has meant the world to me.

I would just like to add and to ask. You have said that Heroes Origins will be in essense a morality play. Extending this theme of stressing the human element of the drama over the powers each charachter had. Will you ever feature a charachter who is not a traditional heroe but has a genetic disorder or disease that exists in the real world?

As to why Peter just didnt fly up himself - he was going NUCLEAR. He was losing control. I dont think he could have harnessed Nathan's ability to fly if he wanted to once he started to go boom.

I give this episode a 5/10. Great build but lousy payoff.

As for hiro in japan I hope they do not do all of season 2 in 1671 because they will lose a lot of viewers if they do. My 2 friends and I hated the fact sylar was dealt with so easily by nikki.

Allright, I'm as dedicated as a fan gets. I'm pacing in front of the T.V. an hour before every show, every Monday night. I've got to say every single episode has left me absolutely speechless, and craving for more... except for this finale.

I actually found it a little dry. I'm not going to insult it or anything, it wasn't bad... but, the only thing that kept me going was the fact that I KNEW there would be some huge finale. I just kept waiting for it. Everybody made their way outside, and I'm on the edge of my seat going "yeah... yeah.... theres going to be an explosion. Yeah yeah. Here comes the good stuff...." But... it never came. We never got to see any epic battle or huge physical anything. Everybody sat around and watched Peter and Sylar "duke it out"... although the only moves exchanged were a couple punches from Peter and Sylar hitting Peter with the pole. THEY HAVE POWERS. Why didn't they USE THEM? And Hiro has failed to kill Sylar multiple times. Finally he shows up, and without any difficulty, he just... walks up and stabs him. Then the explosion isn't exciting. Peter says "Uh oh, im about to explode." It was cute that his brother was "with him until the end," unlike what we expected, but then... we didn't see anything cool after that. They flew away, and we saw a little explosion. Sure, it was far away, but we've been waiting for this "bomb" all season, and that was it?

Yes, there were many good things in this episode. But, I must say, it was lacking a lot of things that viewers were really craving. I am a true fan of this show, and plan to buy every action figure, DVD, and poster that might ever come out for this show. So please, take my words into consideration for future reference. This was a little bland, to be honest.

yea i love heroes.. i heard on the news about this press release cancelling Heroes and Jericho, my two favorite shows, plus many other shows, and if noone remembers this what happened to that show Surface that ended after one season, i dont think heroes will end but Surface was a pretty good show too

Wow. Wow, wow, wow! I have always loved this show, ever since I first saw it. It is so complx and completely original. Tim Kring, you are an absolute genius!!! how do you come up with it? Every episode is amazing. Just when i think that it is truly impossible for it to get any better, it becomes more fabulous than i thought possible. It is my favorite thing ever! I love how little details become so important and how nothing is insignificant. It is mindblowing! This summer is going to torture me. I mean, I have to wait that long AND I have so many questions!

Sylar should not be alive anymore!! He has been killed! And what does he do with the brains anyway? Who is this mysterious guy who can see Molly? That's scary. Um, you can't kill Peter! PLease let him be alive! The show needs a good guy! If the bad guy is still here, we need the good guy! (especially considering the fact that the President of the United States of America sacrificed his life for him! That's gotta count for SOMETHING, right?!) I'll save my other questions for inside my head (partly because i can't think straight and partly because I'd be lucky to know even one of the answers to my already written questons) and move on to the flattery...

You are amazing, Tim. The storyline you created stretches the boundaries of human behaviour and your characters have so much depth that you can't heelp but love them all (you even got me to briefly feel sorry for Sylar, and i am someone who can hold a serious grudge...). Your genius leaves me stunned.

Hayden, you are spectacular! You are an amazing actress and can make any situation so believable that i don't even realize that you are an actress until after I am done watching whatever you are in. ok my take on this.. Peter couldn't fly off on his own.. because he was trying to control the nuclear power. He may have been able to control more than one power.. if he knew how to control the nuclear power.. but because it was so new to him... he wasn't able. That's why he couldn't fly out on his own. And Sylar isn't dead... somehow he slithered off into the sewer. I am "Hoping" that after Peter went up with Nathan.. that Nathan let go of Peter before he exploded.. and that Nathan will be coming back.

Hey i am the biggest heroes fan EVER i am in middle school and my friends think im annoying because all i can talk about is heroes. But i have a question for both of you. First of all Tim is there going to be a second series of heroes and if there is would you mind telling if your going to have the same or different characters because i think the characters you picked have been outstanding and i think they should go into the second series. and Hayden i was wondering did you have fun playing claire because to me i thought you did a great job with everything and i think you shuld do another series. This the best science fiction show in years, bar none. The character and storyline development is first rate. You make us care about not just the characters, but how the story is
advanced. I'm wondering if there is a definite story arc. Your show reminds me of Babylon 5 in this regard. By the way, great ending. Love the samauri!

Mr. Kring, as great as the finale was, the Nathan flying Peter thing was... a tad predictable since the 'not leaving you' part a while back. In addition, I've felt cheated by the lack of good battles. Since Peter and Sylar will both have more control over their powers next season, I hope to see some more intense battles. With Matrix choreography.

I love the show, and Hayden, your acting skills are amazing. I hope you don't become a mysteriously disappearing character.

I love the show! The best new show this season by far. So much has happened in 23 episodes that it feels like its been more than a year. The only thing is the finale left more questions than answers.. Did Peter survive the explosion? What's going to happen to the rest of the cast? Is Season 2 going to take place in the year 1670?

Peter was tracked by the lil girl sylar was overtaken by the new bogey man nathan probably did fly away from peter way up although he has no regeneration power going that high up in the atmosphere but peter and nathan could have the same powwers to absorb others...

I'll try this again... Nathan may have been able to fly high, fling his brother higher, catch him after he explodes as he regenerates... so he could be saved, too. And siler's blood trail into the sewers indicates he isn't dead-- for the guy who thinks he's dead.
I really appreciate any show that is this creative and that I can't figure out before it ends! Well Played!

That was an excellent ending, all except the ol' "look at the blood trail into the manhole-villain ain't dead" trick. That is SO played! WHY didn't you guys just let Hiro kill Sylar--that was so satisfying when he stabbed the guy! Sylar should have died w/ this finale. he's getting to be boring as the typical "unkillable villain". time for fresh evil!

So, I have like a bunch of questions:

Is Parkman really dead? I know he wasn't huge this season but he has his wife and kid, and I've always liked the actor, I think he's awesome.

Is there some importance to Hiro going to the past beyond the fact that the flag had the DNA symbol on it?

DId you already start writing the second season or even shooting it?

Will we find more out about the past group of heroes, as in the Petrelli mother, Linderman, etc.?

it was a great episode but lacked a great finale, an ultimate battle where every hero has a part to save the day like in the first fantastic four ending where every hero played a role in stopping dr. von doom. but every hero tonite could of had an active role in stopping slyar...not just being spectators.....

I like the visual effects and all of the actors (You all do a wonderful job of portraying your characters). I was put off by the ending somewhat. Not complaing, but their was some confusion about what or how things where meant to happen. Some roles not dicussed in enough detail. I am an overall fan of the show, as most posters on this thread are. My questions concerns comments from actors in interviews that state that Sylar will return along with a new cast of actors. While I am tempted to ask who you may be choosing for new rolls in Volume 2, I realize you most likely will not answer. No worries, in my opinion. I would like to know if we might be meeting characters from the graphic novel, or if they will just be completely random?

I really had a feeling that Nathan was going to fly away with Peter and save New York...not the world...that, I believe is a different story...so Peter doesn't die cuz of Claire's power...and mama Petrelli is the main villain..at least I think so

Sylar is not dead, which is cool because he is a great villian. I am interested to know who can see molly when she thinks about him. I would love to compliment you both on a job well done in each of your respective departments; Tim for creating the most original and fascinating show on television, and Hayden for helping to bring it to full gear on the screen.

I would be interested to ask how much you, Hayden, will be in the Second season, as the teaser at the end of Episode 23 have shown Hiro in the past. Will we be seeing many of our Heroes returning next season, and if so, how will that be happening? I guess that question is also for Tim too, since you've made this possible.

Also, I would love to know how it felt to finish creating this epic first season.

Regarding Heroes: Origins, will there be mainstream characters interacting with the new characters each week? I wouldn't think it would be many, just one or two if at all. Would love to hear any more information on that.

The Ending was awesome! I cant wait to see what the next season holds.

yeah i gotta admit that was kind of unsatisfying peter in my oppinion was the best character on the sow and with him gone if sylar isnt dead there will really be none wo can stop him. peter was there and all the others and all of them combined couldnt fully stop sylar... Si I must ssay that i am extremely disapponted to see that peter is apparently dead, however there is a chance peter survived when Ted would use his power his hands didnt disintegrate so it might not kill peter, however just because the bomb didnt happen doesnt mean it cant hapen next season with sylar still breathing, I was hoping for something more climactic between peter and sylar... I love the show! The best new show this season by far. So much has happened in 23 episodes that it feels like its been more than a year. The only thing is the finale left more questions than answers.. Did Peter survive the explosion? What's going to happen to the rest of the cast? Is Season 2 going to take place in the year 1670?

this show leaves me speechless every night. i love tuesday mornings, because i'm able to rant and rave about the show the night before.

The show is awesome, no doubt. I think that the story is pushed too fast perhaps. Their is so much more developement that could be done. I like the visual effects and all of the actors (You all do a wonderful job of portraying your characters). I was put off by the ending somewhat. Not complaing, but their was some confusion about what or how things where meant to happen. Some roles not dicussed in enough detail. Still, I say again, THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME SHOW I HAVE SEEN IN MANY, MANY YEARS! Thanks cast and crew!!!

I'm sure Peter will return next season, along with Claire, Molly, and Micah. Molly and Micah are so young its practically impossible to leave them out, and Claire and Peter are easily the most loved characters in teh show.... I also believe that Parkman has a slight chance of coming back, if not at least his child on the way will play some role in the show....

Tim Kring..Awsome way to end the season. Are you sure you're not in to comics like I heard on a channel called G4? Because you sure did end the season like it was.Take it from a hardcore comic geek you did an excellent job of bringing comic drama and awsomeness to live-action T.V. Very hard to do. i really enjoy heroes. i love sci-fi, and fantasy. it is a great break from reality. heroes is one of the best show on tv right now. i am currently a student at suny cortland, and heroes made me fall even more in love with film. i loved the colors, the cropping, transitions. it was amazing! i was so impressed by the camera work. i know that i am posting where thousands of others will also, and this might get over looked, which i understand, but at least i am throwing it out there. i want to go into film and tv so badly when i am finished with school. i am looking forward to finding an internship somewhere. i would love to work on a show like heroes.

Wow! When is Season 2 premiering??? Can you talk about who Molly was referring to? The one who when she thinks about them, they can see her?? Also, what is Mrs. Petrelli's power? Would she be that person?

I've been amazed since the pilot, I've followed every episode, complained about every break in the season, pondered everything (ie if Claire's faux-pa was Sylar early on...). Mr. Kring, you've don an amazing job, I look forward to every future season, and I will follow them just as closely as I have the first. Your show was innovative, brilliantly crafted, beautifully captured; it was unique, it made your mind work every single episode, and it was so different from everything else out there. Thank you again for the incredible series that is Heroes.

Hayden, you probably hear this all the time, but you are stunningly beautiful. You portray your characters so well, you fit your role so perfectly. Doubtless, you are the only Claire there could be. Well that was a fine end to a great first season. Ended well I think. And knowingly, there was no way the producers of the show could make the Sylar vs. Peter fight as awesome as people wanted it to be. Still the end had some nice hints about the fate of Sylar and Hiro. And of course, I'm pretty sure Peter is still alive.

This episode kept me on the edge of my seat. My favorite Character is Peter and I am sure that he did not die for two reasons. The future episode were he did not get Claires powers and two because he now has Claires Powers. For a first season show, this blew out all of my shows hands down

i was not feeling the finale. there was a lot of build up and a lot of hype & i was disappointed. i will still be watching because i have been a fan from jump.

Nathan could have tossed him high enough and flew to a safe distance and still be alive.... even could catch the unconscious regenerating Peter and fly him to the ground. ;-) And for the kid who didn't catch it... that blood trail to the manhole indicates to me Sylar isn't dead.

Wow, what a finale!

I am extremely satisfied how, visually, the season came around full circle. With the powerful image of Hiro looking at the solar eclipse just as he did back in September. Was this sort of closing planned from the beginning?

How far along do you plan a story arc of a full season? Was this season fully plotted, or was the major arc planned by the time the pilot was made, or was it a very fluid process in storytelling?

Also, is it my imagination or does Charles Devaux have the same ability as that child Mohinder met in India?

Why is Mr. Bennet's first name NOAH? I would have gone for Tony...it has a certain ring to it ;)

I wanted to try and pass my regards on while I had this chance. I have a genetic disorder, Ehlers Danlons Syndrome. It means pain and embarassment for me. It is like most mutations. Your show wasn't the first by any means to feature the idea of genetic mutation but it was the first in a long while to show 'powers' or mutations as unwanted. And to allow the most important elements of the show to be the human drama that is experienced by normal people living with an abnormal set of circumstances. This has meant the world to me.

why did the writers kill off sylar that was so stupid he was my favorite character. There was no peter vs sylar battle why was that? Pretty weak if you ask me.

I love this show. I never watch TV, but I have made an exception since this show started. I liked the first part of the season finale a little better, but this one had some very cool elements to it. I was a little disappointed with the final show down, I think you guys could have done an amazing fight scene if the pace was a little faster throughout. I have to say I am totally not liking the idea of Peter being gone. He and Claire are my favorite characters. I cannot wait until I can get this on DVD and watch all of the episodes back to back. I smell a Heroes marathon coming on ;)

Well, I would hate to think that peter and nathan are alive and sylar returns as a bug and somehow becomes human.

I believe that this was a really good show they way it ended with all those heroes in one place for the 'final showdown' really set a dramatic tone for it. Also I like the way they ended with Sylar disappearing into the sewer system. He did after all come into contact with Claire which is all that Peter had to do to absorb her power. Sylar just chose a more gruesome way to take his powers from past heroes

Hi just want it to say that it was a great season for sure with all the surprises that we have seen.
A question I have for Tim is that I know that Peter isn't dead but will he remember what happen because I think with that explosion he won't remember at all who he is and everything.
Also the vilain that Molly talk about is it a character we have seen before the thing I can imagin it would be Claude because he can see her but not her.
And for Hayden well I'm very happy for you with your success I hope you will have a great carreer!!

This show is the most original thing i have seen on telivision in years at least since buffy the vampire slayer its the first time in awhile that a show about people with powers is actually interesting hayden you deserve an award for your acting most dramatic shows have not so great actors or they have great actors and bad writing but this show does it all right and im not just an average person with an opinion im an aspiring director so i think i know a little bit about it good luck with next season i cant wait for it

I was very unsatisfied, there was no fight. No display of power between peter and sylar. I was waiting the whole time during the episode for something cool to happen and it didn't. Why doesnt peter just fly away? Why doesnt peter keep the gun to shoot himself?

Hayden, it's no secret that you and your character have made many a male fan. What do you think of your character's sexuality? Is that something that you would like to see explored more in the second season? (like, Claire gets a boyfriend) Or do you think she is too young for that?

If, in the middle of an episode, for absolutely no reason, Hayden randomly shouted "Sora, Donald, Goofy!" I think I could die a happy man right then.

Meh. It was not too great. Especially for a finale.

That was the most incredible and satisfying season finale I've seen since ST:TNG ended. Hiro's "Yatta" when he ran Sylar through sent me into hysterics!

In the last few episodes, the characters all seemed to be in New York and they interacted with each other. Are the characters going their seperate ways during the second season?

I really enjoyed the finale. :) You can call me Isaac Mendez because after "Five Years Gone" I decided to draw my own HEROES comic of the fight we didn't get to see in that eppy. Funny enough, the ending I wrote had Peter stopping time, grabbing Sylar, ripping a hole in the ceiling, and flying straight up and going BOOM - JUST LIKE WHAT WE SAW TONIGHT only with Nathan and Peter.

And the way it went right into "Generations" was just incredible!!

I agree with another comment, why didn't Peter fly into the sky instead of both Nathan and Peter if he had Nathan's powers?

Before some of you get angry, take some things into consideration. Maybe Peter couldn't get enough control over himself in order to fly away and Nathan knew this. Also, we never see them when the explosion happens. For all we know, Nathan takes him high enough and then flies away in time himself.

WOW I have to say Heroes has become my favorite show on Monday nights. I am so excited about the finale, I can't wait to see whats in store. Will Peter and Nathan return? Was their mom one of them? What will become of Sylar?.. and Hiro in futile Japan? And I must know who the man is that can see Molly when she thinks about him?

I love it!! I love the whole Heroes universe! So Hayden, I love how much you've accomplished. You are the same age as us and already are acting, singing, and are involved in the community. My question is, what inspires you the most to do all these things and, completely irrelevant, what inspiration did you take to develop the character of claire?

The best part about Heroes is that the writter pay attention to little details, like Mika making the elevator work. And to all of those how are saying with Peter did not floo, just try to image concetrating in not exploting.

I wonder who the villain of volume 2 will be and what is the connection with Hiro landing in Kyoto.

OMG. That was a fantastic finale. I really loved how all the heroes came together at Kirby Plaza. And witnessed Peter and Nathan fly into the sky and exlode! OMG. That was so amazing.

Hayden. I was crying at you and Milo's scene when you were struggling with having to shoot him. And then the way you looked at Nathan when you realized he was going to help. Perfect portrayal of emotions in that scene. You also did such a fantastic job when you were hugging Nathan but then whispered that you had a family and jumped out the frigging window! LOL. I really love how you and Mr. Bennet interact on the show too.

Kring. Seriously, how did you come up with this stuff. It's INCREDIBLE! The storylines just test humanity and the lengths they are going to sacrifice for one another. I really thing with Peters character in this finale you showed that there still can be people that long unconditionally and do good things in this world.

I remember Hayden on SVU twice as well. I loved her the first time when she was close with Olivia and then the second time when she was playing on Stabler's paternal side.

Great show, a big part of the reason I recently took a job at NBC. To my question, what was the main inspiration for the show? Was there one main influence or did you draw from many different areas? Also the acting by the cast is incredible, congratulations.
