Will there be "evil heroes"?
In a show about heroes there have to be villains. Stay tuned for episode two where we introduce a major villain who plays a large role in the entire first season.
And perhaps some of these powers may even lead some of our heroes to become villains. It’s all about human nature and free will.

I liked the first show and hope more heroes especially a broader female variety (i.e. all blonde?) will surface in time. You did great with the guys, im curious to find out if the man from india will have some powers too.

If you were to bring in people to be side hero's or main villians, where might one go to try out for such a part.
I thought that this show is brilliantly original and creative. I really look forward to watching the next episodes. The cinematography looks strong and development of characters seems compelling so far.
Peter I suspect will not be able to fly but his brother can and since they are so 'connected' Peter will be ab le to fly with the help of his brother. The hard part will be getting his brother to recognize his power.
So your suggesting that Peter doesn't fly, but that he is empathically picking up on his brother's ability, like he did with the accident or how he anticipates the old man dying. I like how the previews pushed that he would have the ability to fly and then you pull that premise out from underneath the audience. Good job!

ok me again about that villian thing please for god sakes can we have an intelligent non clumsy not always losing villian. you know like the war on drugs, the war on terrorist, like any other wonderful idea to fight, but hard to win, evil.
Going evil wouldn't be THAT out of character for hiro. I mean think about it, you know he's going to be made fun of alot in the future, what if he just says something along the lines of "maybe my friend was right, I should use my powers for myself"

Nathan Petrielli is going to turn bad...i can already tell because he said he was a shark...this plot is so predictable...
There were only two main characters (heroes) who were women tonight. Why did one have to be a cheerleader, and the other one a stripper? And both blondes. This seems like a very traditional (male oriented) view of women.
Is more heroes going to be added.

The guy who is Nikki's foster father is like a cross between Stryker from X2 and Agent Smith from Matrix. Was that an allusion to Smith when he said "It must be a common name, like Smith, or Anderson" ?

Wait, HRG creates a villain. He's trying to get to the root of the powers, find a common cause so that he can stimulate or create powers and create supersoldiers.

A character if you would take ideas could be a man/woman who see's events through dreams but has a downside suffers miagrains due to this!

A lot of people have complained that it's too much like the X-Men or The 4400. Granted, there really aren't too many totally new ideas under the sun, as it were, but what will you do to make this show distinct?

I felt that _Heros_ had good synergy with DC and Marvel comics, but I felt a stronger synergy with Japaneese magna (Hiro would be agree ^_^) and modern-day Role Playing Games. That stuck a chord with me. Keep up the good work!

all these questions are really good sometimes we like to know who has what powers and who's the villain but I like surprises and me not knowin who has what makes me want to watch the show more even though I watch it anyways... congrats on this new series.. keep them coming

I think Ali's character is evil, in that she is afraid of her powers and she may have every reason to be. The road to hell is paved with the best intentions. Also, the cheerleader's "father" seems to want to study these heroes for reasons of his own. Maybe to explain to himself his own abilities?
I think the flying guy's brother, the congressman may7 turn evil...he just seemed like a jerk at the beginning.
You refer to human nature and free will, and there were strong "Darwinian" undertones. Is this going to turn into a propaganda for evolution theory/theories with these sorts of "truths" being the backdrop for explaining the powers manifestation?
Or can we reasonably expect that these geneticists and skilled scientific types have been playing more of a "god's hand" role in pushing the evolutionary momentum along?

Don’t get me wrong here, I like this show. It’s a really, really cool concept: superheroes (and potential supervillians?) as real people. BUT, I wish we were allowed to learn about the characters more slowly; the introductions were insultingly compressed. I’d gladly sacrifice some of the pace for some real character depth. I wish networks could understand that we don’t need action all the time; what we want is characters we can care about and stories that make us want to know what happens next. We’re not as dumb as they think.

remember hearing that the premiere was cut into two parts put I never heard the reason why, because I would've loved to be sitting on my couch for the next hour.
There has to be an evil hero. If not, there would be no balance.
I feel like the stripper may fall down the villain path, if not intentially.
