DVDs, movies, and video games

Many of your posts are asking about things like DVDs, movies, and video games.

The answer is that it’s up to all of you fans who make it a big enough hit to warrant these things.

a good heroes game would be the coolest thing ever. Think about it, sylar and peter using telekinesis to fight, buildings breaking, cars flying. Then ted could explode everything within a mile radius. Claire could go on special missions. Hiro could go to different futures and then try to change the present. Trying using flying and invisibility in a crowded city. This would be SUCH a cool game.

I hope that they don't force it into the x-men blueprint for games i.e limited use of powers max 4-5 applications for powers

nor should it have a single character to play through (obvious choice for game desingers would be PP where he 'unlocks' his powers by finding others.

In brief the game should be free roaming with multiple playable characters, should run along the same pattern as the tv series but not be forced into an action game, as the series is more of discovery

so you guys already signed with ubisoft right? they're good, good choice with them

I would love for Heroes to be the first video game where you can create in joining in saving the world.

MAKE A GAME,only make it good, unlike those matrix games that failed to live up to expectations, make the environment fully interactive, and i mean fully!
so many games these days claim to hav full interactive environments when all they mean is that there are some walls that can be destroyed etc... people cant rip off lampposts like they could if they had jennifers strength, people cant smash windows and use the glass to hurt people etc... games dont live up to their expectations, and if u ruin heroes by making the game not live up to our expectations i will kill everyone around me in a 2 mile radius

A heroes game could be really cool, not like the tacky "Enter the Matrix" game but a RPG (Deus Ex inspired and the like) would really appeal to use Sci-Fi fans. A game set in the distopian future New York would also be pretty cool.
I've read that Heroes will be released on special Dvd's feauturing the comic books (source: http://www.heroesdvds.com ) among other things, is this true?
As for a movie, well that could be a big seller. It would be hard to write a whole new story line so maybe condensing the whole series based around Hiro into one film? I know we'd know the ending but you could play around with the plot a bit...

Will NBC keep a board for posters like this one up and running? Will you and/or the writers, stunt people, ect. be posting from time to time?

excellent new show with unknow actors that will be known before long. I can't wait for next week. The concept of oridnary people becoming heros is great. I wish that you expand the cast to be multi cultural would be hugh. This show is one of a kind

I noticed the painting with some sort of exsplosion from the character who can see the future what does this mean.

I was given the impression that the solar eclipse had something to do with giving the "heroes" their abilities. Was that a misconception to throw us off or does it play a larger role?

It seems extremely rare two brothers would have "special abilities." Will we find out about the Petrelli brothers' family? Who was their father?

By making the characters distant from each other and making a major role the city they are in, I see many possibilities for this show. Just so long as it keeps with the feeling of doubt followed by revelation, it can go anyway and I hope that I can be surprised in future episodes and not make it too easy to predict the outcome of episodes (or seasons for that matter)

How certain are you of the 9pm ET Monday time slot? I mean, this leaves you up against "24", right? I know networks play a lot of schedule games. If you're staying at this time, all I can say is "thank God for DVRs!" ;-)

Hiro...he is obviously he one with the greatest of powers. i sure he is going to play a great part in uniting the heroes or others with special abilities. tell us more about his powers.

Was that a Matrix refrence I spotted? When the girls dad & the dr.'s son where in the cab, talking about his last name. He said it must be commen like "Smith" or "Anderson." Thought this my be a hint that his some type of agent and the dr.'s son is Neo-ish.

I have no doubt it will be a big hit. I didn't even want to snack because I might miss something!

Wow...video games?? I never even thought of that!! It is so neat to get in on the ground floor of something so great!!! I am actually a part of the group of people that will soon be known as "a follower of Heroes" since the beginning!

My question is: Have you placed a lot of hidden things in the shots (like at Hiro's desk, the stuff around his computer) that will be significant later? I like a show that's deep and has a really good mythology. Way to go, great premiere! I'm hooked!

Forget the video games, dvds, and movies. Why not open real life schools to develop these powers. We all got'em. Why waste them on the mundane?

A video game that is light on specs (not needing the absolute best CPU, Graphics, etc) that is more like the comics and old-style (ie: you gotta read kiddies) text games would be awesome. Obviously good art and such is needed these days, but something rich in plot and intrigue like the show - but something NOT simply remaking the show's plot would be amazing.
