Will Taylor stay in Austin or come back?

Jeff: Things are going to come to a head pretty soon... it will be a very interesting and satisfying conclusion. In three or four episodes things will resolve and it will be well worth your wait.

Kimmie -- Excellent post. You really know these 2 characters. Landry reacted true to his character: he's in love with Tyra and will follow her lead. And, no, Tyra does not trust anyone in authority. Remember the cops trying to say it was partly her fault when she was assaulted? Excellent show. It did not disappoint in any way. Very glad you skipped over the summer. I'm already worried about what happens at the end of the season though when all the seniors are graduating!

Okay, FNL writers, I guess I'm the only person out here who was glad the rapist got what was coming to him. I'm glad Tyra never has to worry about him again. I do agree that Landry should have called the police, but I don't think this was over the top. I think Landry acted like any guy passionate about a girl who is about to get raped would act. He was protecting her. He acted out of passion, anger, fear, and didn't think about what a metal pipe to the head may do. As for him not calling the cops, that was him listening to Tyra who really has trouble trusting people in positions of authority - remember, Season 1 fans? Tyra rightfully doesn't trust that ANY system works. I maintain that this storyline is true to these characters. Upset viewers, it might not be what your kids would have done, but Landry and Tyra are not your kids.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SHOW PLEASE KEEP IT ON ITS SO NICE NOT TO HAVE TO SEE PEOPLE HAVING SEX ALL THE TIME AND EVERY OTHER WORD BLEEPED OUT THIS SHOW REMINDS ME OF THE GOOD OLD DAYS AND IM ONLY 49 LOL ALL THE ACTORS ARE SO GREAT AND CONNIE YOU ARE SO PRETTY AND WELL KYLE WELL WHAT CAN I SAY HOT !

To quote Semame Street...."Which one of these things just doesnt belong?"
Birth of Baby
Father/Daughter conversation
Teenage Love
MURDER

ummmm....murder????

hey ya'll sorry about the duplicate posts. this is my first time blogging. i guess you can tell

I just dno't get the murder thing????? It just doesnt fit the characters, the show, its like a soap opea kind of thing...dont ya think??? Is there a way of back tracking this.....????? ya know...its a "dream?" otherwise, well, im out.

I justed watched my first FNL on a friday...and my last!......Isnt there enough teen violence, anger, etc in REAL LIFE...do we have to show these "good teenager" characters commiting murder???!
I guess Im back to my own DVDS

I am so happy the show is back on again. I missed watching Dillon;0) But the murder is so sad, now the two will never get a chance to get together on a normal base, mh? Please keep it up everyone, I love watching the show! I am a new mom and I so felt like crying with Tamy when she heard coach had to go back. Stay strong, he'll opefully will be back soon???!!

Please talk about your decision to have them cover up the murder this episode. It seems out of character and too "soapy" for your show. (Which I LOVE!!!!!!!) The father/daughter scenes are the best in TV--EVER!

so now that we finally get Fridy nights....we have to throw in a murder? Sorry, I know its about drama, but i thought it was first about family? I JUST TONIGHT convinced my mom to watch, telling her it was a preety good family how, ya know, a bit of teenage drama (but having teeanagers myself, i get it) but all in all, its good.....NOW...i have 2 so called "decent" teenagers dumping a body instead of...AT LEAST calling a parent (as opposed to the corect "call the cops..we did nothing wrong" thing.
YOU FINALLY GOT FRIDAY NIGHTS....but I might as well be watching Gossip Girls..bye

I just finished watching your show. I want to thank you for keeping me motivated to be a writer.
I am a Latino of Mexican background and am amazed how the media keeps us invisible.
I recently became a member of the SWG West by the constant reminder of shows like yours.
Thanks again.

My wife and I love the show. The acting is wonderful. Connie and Kyle have amazing chemistry and we look forward to the show every week.

The writing is normally wonderful as well, but we thought the murder was way over the top. If you're trying to reach a different market segment, good luck.

We would prefer you drop this storyline and get back to what FNL does best: the drama of high school and raising children.

And I agree with Paige, the show works well when it looks close at ordinary happenings at an emotional level - no need to go over the top (murder)...although I love Tyra and Landry...

I will be so happy if Landry and Tyra get together...but not over a murder!?

I want to see Lyla and Tim together! They have the most chemistry! Beyond that this show is perfection.

I'm thinking that friday night is not the best night - give us sunday, monday (before the hills) or hump day!!! I missed a real FNL tonight to stay home and watch the premiere!

Please, this is the most well done show on TV and don't go down the murder, coverup, farfetched, etc line - this show is better than that!

why can't i see my post? oh well, i guess i will try again and if duplicates...i am so happy that the Dillon Panthers are back. i laugh, i cry almost every episode. a wonderful way to start in the summer as that's when high school football really begins...thanks for the show.

It definetly has a different feel then the first season. Whats gonna happen to Matt and Julie? Will coach Taylor return back home? I just can't wait!!

show was great without the murder thing.....3 cheers for Lyla!!

i am so happy that the show is finally back. it's the best. i laugh, i cry. thanks. btw i think that Coach Taylor should come back home, as Kyle and Connie have the best onscreen chemistry around.

Whats next for Matt and Julie?

I hope the murder doesn't become a major plotline; this is wrong for this show.

how much of Tim will we see in austin

Here's what I thought was strange - why did you start the show in the Summer time? Football is a Fall Sport, and it's October already. School's arleady started, and you went backwards to summer?

Thank you for your show. My eleven-year old son and I so enjoy watching together. Unfortunately I still can't get my wife to watch a whole episode--the football curse.

Will Matt and Julie stay together???

glad the new season is on

Keep the show at its roots, what it does best. Don't be so over the top

I didnt like the murder thing tonite. Why did you do that?

what will happen with the murder?
