Will new time affect the show's authentic voice
Connie: The show's themes will not change because it's on later. Right, Jeff?
Jeff: I have teenagers, too. I think the writers have been insightful when it comes to themes. As a father or a teenager, you will be able to relate to upcoming storylines. It can even bring a teenager and parent together. We were very cautious of that when working on the show this season.

I too am concerned that the story lines will become more risque. I can understand the degree of realism portrayed thus far but seriously hope it won't get further into graphic reprensenations of things I'm happy not to 'see.' The language makes me cringe enough and there have been a few scenes I have not let my teens watch. I have 2 sons in their 20's, 2 teen daughters, and 3 below teens and am very sensitive to these things.
Keep it clean-it takes more ingenuity to do so anyway!
LOVE the new time slot. I think there are lots of our here that don't go to HS football games but still love the show. This new day and time completely suits our household.
is there anyway that the show will be moved to a different night. Most of us who love the show also love our own FNL and go to our local high school games which makes it very hard to watch. Do you think this will hurt the ratings for the show? Just like tonight we had to miss the much awaited season premiere. I hope the producers and NBC rethink the schedule. Great show, keep up the wonderful job.
