My Hours and Typical Days

Connie: Thanks, Heather! I hate to admit it, but we have probably one of the easiest shooting schedules on hour-long television. Because of the special way we shoot, we shoot with 4 cameras going at all times, we don't rehearse, there are a lot of things that usually happen that we don't do...so our days are a LOT shorter. A lot of those hour shows you watch shoot 12 and 14 hour days, we shoot maybe 9 hour days. If we have a 12 hour day, everyone starts complaining. We're pretty lucky, I have to say.

Seriously...they can not cancel that show!!! My goodness there are so many other shows with much more questionable content!! Who do we need to call? Please post the information so we can keep the show going!!!!

are they stiil here?

I read in the paper tonite that FNL has been cancelled. One of the reasons they stated was because of the sexual content with the teenagers and the family time slot it was put in. I'm a mom with a 12 year old son and I am usually VERY critical about programming put on TV to watch as a family. I have to admit that I have not watched FNL with him but I do love the show, the characters, the wonderful acting (which is rare) and Kyle Chandler(I've been a fan for a long time). I have also become a fan of Connie Britton! You are sunshine. I would have loved to have been your next door neighbor and friend. The storyline keeps me tuning in every week and each character plays their part so true to life. They sexual parts are so not necessary when you have a great story line. It is so much better to leave things to the imagination. I really hope that FNL will return for another season. The cast feels like family that you really enjoy seeing once a week and will be missed. Good Luck!!

What a great family oriented show. Thanks for making us feel like we are part of the show. I really enjoyed the field-building episode as well. The cows were really paying attention to the conversation and I believe really supported the decision. Connie what a great role model you are in the show. Kyle it is wonderful to see a George Walton grad doing so well. I graduatede in 1990 and remember you as a student aide in my brother's K-5 class. Once again many thanks for such a great show.
Sincerely
Ben Garrett

Kyle! You rock! My family and I have followed your career since "Homefront" and we love "Friday Night Lights!" Keep up the good work.

Your show is fantastic and we want to know how we can keep this wonderful show going.
Living in TX for 15 years, we can relate to the special tradition that only TX football provides.

Hope to see you all back in Fall, 2007.

we really love the show!! will it return for a second season? my husband and sons wouldn't miss it - we are good old football fans, especially high school - the guys really play for the love of the game at this level!

Was this show suppose to be like the movie? And if it was, you do know that in the movie the didn't win State?

I just want to say this is the best prime time show I have seen in a very long time. I cannot believe it is going off. Will there be another season. I sure hope so! Yall are all great!

Kyle - did not realize that you are from VA. I live near Richmond and that must be why my family and I feel that as if we almost know you, that Southern thing. Where from VA are you from?

Has NBC notified any of you about another season? My husband and I absolutely love this show - I'm a teacher and he's a high school coach and English techer in a small town - we really identify with all of the emotions and occurrences the shows reveals each week. Thank you for portraying the REAL side of this life. We really hope there's a next year.

I would just like to say that I love this show and I was so sad that tonight was the last episode. I just have to say that you guys did an awesome job...Can't wait till next season. I do have one question though. From watching the shows, some of the scenes seemed to get pretty emotional. But all in all how much fun did you two have filming this show?

Can you please give us any tidbits on what's in store for season two?

I cried so many times tonight I lost track...I love this show, love it and I swear if NBC doesn't give a whole season pick up...I will never watch another NBC show again...I said the same thing after Lyon's Den...but, I forgave as soon as I saw Kyle was the Coach, or as we like to call him, McCoach, so please, please, please a whole second season!!!

i lvoe you guys. cnt get enough of your show!im so excited for a second season. your all such amazing actors and such an inspiration : )

Coach,

Did you play high school football? You do a great job playing the role of a coach. I coach in Cincinnati and I love the show!!!

Great show and I hope that NBC brings it back for another season. I watched the movie Friday Night Lights a couple of weeks ago and the movie ended with the team from Odessa coming up a few inches short of the goal line in the state final. Who made the decision in the script to let Dillon win the title? When Smash was running I thought he was going to come up short just like the movie.

Great finale! Lot's of threads to pick up for next year. Do you folks get any "heads up" on the paths you'll be following?

hey i watch the show every week and havent missed an episode. You guys need to come back for a second season. It is probably the best show i have ever seen and nothing else can compare. so PLEASE come back for a second season

First of all, I want to tell you guys that this is the best show on tv.. I love every episode...I especially love the Julie and Matt romance blooming...Will the show return to tv and when?

Mrs. Britton I know this is off the topic of the show, but I just want to say I think you did an extremely good job this season and you are one of the most beautiful lady's I have seen. Congratulations on a great season!

I really enjoyed the show. I especially enjoy the stories surrounding the football. Football is just a backdrop to all the other stories going on. I am glad the show has been picked up for another year. Thanks for taking the time out of your evening to chat with us!

We want season 2 and Coach!

I LOVED THIS SHOW!!! I hope there is another season!!!!!!

Really bummed that the season is over already. When are you guys gonna be back on. We think you are the best show on TV.

I love how you guys shoot. I studied television and a regular show is hard with 13 cameras or so. And this is so much easier for the kids to do if it is their first show. It has a great movie-like feel.

Any news on a new season??
