If I Was in Tami's Position...

Connie: When I first got the script from the writers, I was like woah...but one thing I understood from Tami's perspective is the fact that she has really wanted to have a sense of doing something important for the community, aside from being someone wife/mother. Her job as a counselor has been a really important thing in her life, so that part of it I can understand. I could see where it would be a difficult decision.

I love the show and will be disappointed if it isn't picked up for next season. As a wife of 34 years of a Texas football coach, I can really relate to the show.
Texas high school football... there's nothing else like it!

As I said when I wrote directly to NBC, this is the best show on TV. While I was pregnant this winter it was the only thing that I could watch that did not give me nightmares. It is something different in the TV programing line up, and I never miss an episode. I really really really hope to see another season.

If someone's dream was to do what you do, then would you help them find there dream? Would you give them the break you wished for yourself? If so, please, help me earn my dream just as someone helped you. yes-no?

Will there be a season 2? I want to be ready if theres a next season.

I just wanted to let you all know that I have absolutely adored your show (and I NEVER do something like this!) I think this is one of the most heartfelt, human shows that has ever been on network television. I am not a big sports or football lover but as you well know, this show is about so much more than football. It is about real human emotions and experiences and I am hoping so much that NBC has the guts and intelligence to keep your show on the air next year. My daughter, who is 24 and lives in Tampa, and I talk about your show all the time and we have just loved what you have accomplished with it. There is so much drivel on network TV; this is a true GEM that is so worth being kept on the air.

It seems to me, and as a former actress myself, that your dialogue is so REAL, is a lot of it improved with you actors only having to relay a certain idea for each scene?

I am sad...I read in our paper today that there probably won't be another season. This is by far the best show on T.V. How can NBC do this to all of your fans?
