Did we audition with each other?

K: No, we didn't. I met one actress before we started and that's cause I met Pete Berg at a restaurant and I was on the list of people he was meeting that day and Minka Kelly was there and I met her for five minutes. He asked what I thought about her, and one thing about Minka is that she's blond, which is stunning because she's such a beautiful brunette and I don't even remember what she looks like as a blond. How's that for some information?

C: We didn't meet each other until the first day of shooting on the set.

K: In fact, we all made fun of Taylor Kitsch - a Canadian kid coming in to play a Texas. But when he got there you couldn't help but fall in love with him cause he's such a great guy. But they're all such wonderful actors.

I heard Mr P. Berg on a NPR radio interview on 4-11, and the program host stated that NBC has not decided to produce the show for next season. To whom/where at NBC could I express my support for re-newing the show for next and MORE SEASONS. You'all do a grand job with no rehersals and real life portrayal of what HS football in Texas is like. Keep up the GREAT work and I am one HUGE fan whom hopes to see you'all next season...

Is the move to TMU forced because Kyle is not under contract and - or is trying to redo his contract assuming you get picked up for a second season, and if the pickup was 100% certain (though now it seems darn likely) would the arc of the State game have had the team come up short? Or has the TMU possiblity always been on the storyboard as the Cliffhanger for this season? Or is Kyle, and not giving away whether he goes and his family stays behind, simply a one and done contract and he will not come back in any capacity (either at TMU or back at Dillon) even if the show does? This show is the best thing on TV now. Kyle, you never fail to pick quality shows...I've been a fan since my all time favorite show...Homefront! I hope NBC will give this show a chance!

FNL is the best show on television right now. NBC truly has a gem on its hands.The actors and actresses are exceptional talents.Coach Taylor is such an inspirational figure. A real role model. Mr. Chandler deserves much more recognition. He is perhaps the most engaging actor on a series right now. Thanks to all on the show for the fine entertainment. Keep it going!

Wow...Minka Kelly as a blonde! Can't see her as anything as a brunette! I love Tim and Lyla's relationship. Is there any hope for Tim and Lyla getting back together?

My wife and I are really fans of Friday Night Lights. We often joke that if we really like and appreciate a television show that means it will be taken off the air.
We surely hope this is not the case. Why? The show speaks volumes about small town life, of human drama and psychology, of adolescent as well as adult dreams (I teach in a high school, and my wife spent thirty years in education, too). Great actors, with strong emotional range and believable characters, honest tension in the plot, and recognizing people are fallible yet always striving for something better in themselves. I like the ethics of the show, the difficulty of decisions the characters face, their own struggles with themselves and with each other.
Please don't take it off the air. It's an island of sanity and artistic beauty in an ocean of mediocrity, in my view.

Without giving away whether or not Coach Taylor is taking the job at TMU or if he has a change of heart, Kyle, are you still going to be back in some capacity assuming the show is picked up for a seoond season, or are they sending you to TMU because of an inability to agree to working contract?

My question is do you have the ability to ad lib. Like during the last episode. When you were in the hotel room and Connie was on your feet. Did she ad lib that or was it in the script.

Absolutely love the show! You guys really get it right! What created the chemistry between the cast?

The show is fantastic! High school football is so real and true! The actors and actreeses did an excellent job! So, coach Taylor has to come back to take them to state again!

I love the authentic feel of this show, particularly the fact that just about everyone in the cast has a pretty decent approximation of a Texas accent. Do you work with a dialogue coach to get the accent right?

Is there gonna be a next season of Friday Night Lights?

I am absolutely saddened that it's the season finale! I have been a fan since day 1. Th acting, directing and writing on this show is brilliant....Please come back next season! I will miss you Kyle.
