Did the book and film infuse the series?

C: Since I was involved with both of them I have a strong opinion. I feel absolutely they were a jumping off point, but our show is so different from the film. The film was in the 80s and ours is modern day and our characters are only loosely based on them. But the most common thread is Peter Berg, who did the movie and the pilot of our show. But more importantly he created the style that makes them all unique.

K: Enough can't be said enough about Pete Berg, David Nevins, and Jason Katims. It's just an incredible situation, and they really trust the people they are in charge of and that changes everything. It's a free market system.

We love this show soooo much! It is not only great drama, but the technique of filming is so unique and makes it so alive and real...both the 3 cameras and the ad libbing by characters. The casting has been unparalleled. There aren't many shows we like on TV, but we plan our Wed. evenings around this show for a great date [after 45 years of marriage]!

Amazing job. i also got completely hooked and was very moved. Connie, the husband/wife relationship is incredibly entertaining - you guys dance so well together. Someone said you're not married - you should consider marrying me. i do rapport too! in fact i'm an actor. i was in the acting program at Purchase with a lot of TV actors - Weber, Tucci, Snipes,, etc. Studied with the great George Morrison and Paul Sills. i was in the colorado shakespeare festival, playing lancelot and gobbo in Merchant, last summer. where can i write you more? i have a huge crush, but i'm a young 44 so age appropriate!

I've never been a fan of football so when I saw the trailers for FNL over the summer, I didn't give them a second thought. But I caught a fantastic review of the pilot in the Washington Post so I tuned in for the first episode. I've been hooked literally since the first five minutes. It's an amazing show with amazing writers and actors. I tell everyone I know to watch! And much to my boyfriend's delight, FNL has brought out the football fan in me :)

I love the serius, however, the finale wasn't as good as I hoped. Did anyone else notice the second to last play of the game there was 57 seconds on the clock and the next play there was 6. I don't know if it bothered anyone else, but I love football and that pissed me off. And also because of how the show was made, how will you have a second season? I mean Tyra, Lyla, and Riggns can't be apart the show anymore.

Hi,whats up. I really liked your characters in the show, but will the show come back next year. I really like this show and I thought that you two had built the show up. I will really miss the show if it doesn't come back on.

I am sooo sad that the season is finally over now. i will not have anything to do on wednesdays anymore i hope yall do another season With Eric Taylor and your Beautiful Wife I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! CANT WAIT TILL NEXT SEASON YALL BETTER BE IN IT OR IT WONT BE THE SAME!

Connie/Kyle,
The TV show is much more realistic than the film,
Street, Riggins, Smash, what a supporting cast don't you think ?

Hi Kyle and Connie. I was wondering if there was anything interesting that you would change about yourself and the show next season, and if so what?

Ms. Britton,

I am amazed and in awe. I would have sworn on a stack of Bibles that you were married!!! Your portrayal is perfection. Where and what do draw from?????

Did Coach Taylor take the job at TMU?

hated the movie. Love the series.

Do you know why Lyla's character never got in trouble for smashing all those cars?

Thank God the Panthers didn't lose on the show like they did in the movie, or I would have lost my mind! :-)

Have you starred in any other shows?

As the EP, how much interaction does Peter Berg have on a day to day basis with the cast and crew now that the show is on its feet? Does he actually contribute daily to the look and feel or does his legacy create the feel?

Kyle,
Have you ever acted in anything written by your wife? Has she ever written for a show you've been on ? P.S. I love you hair no matter what, even if you shaved it off completely!!

The movie made me want to throw my self off a cliff. I'm glad the show isn't as bleak!!

Your all time favorite role, other than FNL...

How was your experience shooting this season?

Can you help me with my dream like someone helped you?
