Will there be a football game every week?

There will not be a football game every week. We hope to expand the show into something that is much more than just a presentation of football games. There will probably be a football game every four to five episodes, and the show will primarily focus on the characters and their relationships as they unfold and twist and turn.

I think the camera work is great. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the spontaneous out of focus shots. Although Cross focusing in to the shot is fine. My first impressions were that it was mimiking th way someone like an average guy with no professional exp. in videoagraphy would be shooting a football game from the stands. (Lot's of zooms, shakiness, out of focus), but now I'm not sure if that was right.

I love the camera work. I was just telling one of my freinds that it sort of draws on the so called reality based tv theme ut with a much artistic film texture. I think it adds a great dynamic to the intense edits.

Great Show!

The camera man seems drunk. I love the cobcept, but if this type of camera work continues, I will stop watching. Hope it gets better.

I love the pilot! I do agree that the game was rushed. Seemed as though they just ran out of time and had to squeeze it in at the end. This is a football show, I was hoping for a lot of hard work preparing for game day and maybe as a big build up have the game the following week as the first half of the show.
Also agree about needing to stabilize that camera.
I love the intergrity and charecter that it brings to our families. It was so powerful at the end when both teams knelt in prayer. I hope you keep these values.
I like that football games will be spread out over a period of several weeks, as long as we see some intense practices weekly. That's where we see the heart of the player open up. Including those that practice just as hard to be 3rd string and watch the season from the sidelines.
Thanks for the great show.

Bummer re: game not on each week. Still, please don't abandon the sport being the focus and ultimate goal. That's what develops characters, and true men from boys. There's no other sport that tears-down and builds character the same way football does, and I can think of countless situations and scenarios that revolve around that. Thanks, and I'm hoping the best for the show.

I was impressed Peter. Having grown up w/western Pa football and all of its history (5 time Super Bowl Champs!), I will definitely tune in.The fact that my father was a hi school football coach and division 1,I must admit I do enjoy the x's + o's more than the relationship stuff, but I understand that you can't just do the former. I personally would like to see more of the sideline interaction (not just sending in the play). The game seemed abit rushed, but that's okay. You're doing a great job in your portrayal of the head coach as a fine man (as oppossed to making him anything like Probst @ Hoover on MTV's Two a Days). Good job!

The camera sucks. My stomach started hurting after watching the show. It's like a little kid is the camera man. You have just lost a viewer and will spread the word.

the camerawork in some scenes was downright disturbing and amature looking. It made me sick all the jumping around. There's a difference between realistic and blair witch. c'mon Pete.

I read that there won't be football footage in the next episode (budget restraints?) - will you be able to maintain the high production value of the pilot?

Just wanted to say that this was a great pilot and I've been hearing great things about it from other people, too.

Anyway, I'm assuming that you'll probably end up maybe stretching one football season over two TV seasons or something like that? Also, will the games take up a larger portion of the episode too? I thought the first game was kinda rushed and could of been fleshed out more, but overall the show was great.

I look foward to watching this show every week. I absolutley LOVE it.

I hope that NBC decides to give you guys a fighting chance with this series...I'm still mad at them for cancelling Kyles last show and I hope your ratings are through the roof...knock on wood...

Great to hear that there will be good character development. It just wouldn't make sense to have a game every week. Kudos on making an effort to tell a worthwhile story.
