What drew me to the project as a feature?


I’m a huge fan of the book by Buzz Bissinger. I love the social and cultural aspects of high school sports.

I think that since the show is based on a fictional town and fictional characters, we probably won't see the real Boobie on here.

Loved the show, however will there be any cameos or shots of "Boobie" Miles? Seeing how his sacrifices, heroics, and tradegy are the backbone of the book, movie, and now television show, it seems justified that he should finally gets his due. Perhaps a permanent coaching role, since this "Friday Night Lights" phenomenon is off the backbone of "Boobie" Miles.

I am going to tell our football coach tomorrow to have his team watch this show. They went to the final conference last year for the first time ever and are trying to repeat it this year to win it all. We are a high school in the mideast , not as crazy as Texas but it is still very important. Thank you Peter for taking the time to do this.
