Wearing Long Sleeves in Texas

I've been getting a few comments regarding wardrobe; in particular, long sleeves and how and why someone would possibly wear long sleeves in Texas in late summer/early fall. I guess I have to plead "guilty" as charged. We weren't able to film late summer/fall. We filmed in the middle of winter and decided that avoiding hypothermia might be more advisable than preserving 100% authenticity. We'll continue to try being authentic with wardrobe as possible when the weather will permit it.

Lose the long sleeves and coats if you want it to be believable. While the accents I heard made me think Texas, the clothes made me think northern. It's early October, and I'm still wearing shorts to football games.

It was a pretty darn cold and wet Friday Night when we filmed!!! Trying to visualize August was a tough one!! :)

I really liked Riggin's older brother. I'm excited to learn more about what appears to be a conflicted relationship between the two of them. Could this become a major part of the show?

You think you are exploiting actors when you start showing skin, instead of covering them up with authentic costumes they way you are now. But just wait till the ratings take a dive. You'll give in to temptation.

I think you and your staff created an action packed, emotional vignette and presented it in a compelling, balanced, and flowing format. The potential for the character arcs and subplots is inspiring. It's tough to make a dramatic series these days that doesn't depend on DNA or a secluded island, but hats off to you for taking a successful idea and adapting it to TV and actually making it better. Unbelievable how much you fit into an hour without rushing it or cramming it uncomfortably. 2 here liked it very much. Thank you for the quality entertainment.

The last time I saw Kyle Chandler he was "pink mist" on Grey's Anatomy...I love the actor and who he is portraying on Friday Night Lights more than ever! Peter Berg- thank you for bringing some human emotion to Tuesdays- House is Toast!

I was raised on Panther football and had the fun of being an extra in the movie when you were in Odessa. I remember the town closing down for games, I remember long lines of cars traveling to out of town games in a never ending convoy. Are you hoping to capture what was happening back then or are you trying to portray today's football teams?

I attend Leander High School, and I'm sure you're familiar with it since a lot of the filming was done in Pflugerville. Why did you guys choose Pflugerville and can we expect to see any appearances from the Leander Lions? :)
