Kyle Chandler

Kyle is a wonderful actor who's been paying his dues for a long time. He brings tremendous soul, intelligence and complexity to this part. He has one of the most soothing voices I've ever heard and he was a real discovery. It was hard for us to figure out where to go after Billy Bob Thornton in the movie, and Kyle was a real fresh choice for us and we were just thrilled.

I've been a huge fan of Kyle Chandler since Early Edition. It's good to see him in the title role again. The shows he was only a sidekick in didn't last, but I'm sure he can keep this one going. He's definately on of the best looking men on TV--love that dark hair and the green eyes.

This show is awesome. However, anything Kyle Chandler is in is awesome. Convict Cowboy is my all time favorite. I've only watched it about 25 times. Keep finding good roles for Kyle. Please bring FNL back next fall.

Kyle is the perfect actor for Friday Night Lights. I thoroughly enjoy watching the show every week, not only for the story line but to see Kyle. He is one of my favorite actors. I generally watch anything Kyle Chandler is in and not just because he is an attractive man. He is talented, he is likeable, he usually plays great characters and he seems to be a man of integrity.

To put it in perspective, I do not watch network television (or most other television, for that matter) because I find it to be a big waste of time. I watch "Friday Night Lights."

I do not like football. I do not understand all the rules and the action is too slow. However, I will watch every episode of this show just to get to see Kyle Chandler. He is just one of those men you can't help but smile when you see him.

As teachers and family advocates, we are thrilled at the healthy local color realism. No one is portrayed as perfect, but courage, high character, and dependence on the Lord God ("Father") are portrayed as OK and even admirable.

We live in Central Texas, and the authenticity of the FNL episodes is amazing--even more so than the movie. THANKS, FOLKS!

We watched every episode of Early Edition, and are really enjoying Friday Night Lights. I've read that a "secret" to his success is that in Early Ed and FNL, he is himself in the character he plays.

There are very few clean cut, high principled, truly Good Guys that portray worthy examples for today's younger set to emulate. Stay with it, Kyle. There are plenty of actors I don't want my teenage son to even see.

Your movie won my heart and admiration, so I was not at all surprised to watch such a well-produced TV show.

Kyle Chandler, a great actor with that IT factor, brings that quality to a show that makes one want to return each week.

I'm really picky about what TV I watch, and Chandler will probably be the only reason I will watch this show. Keep it wholesome. Whenever we watch TV, we check the guide for something descent, and usually finding nothing, we watch two or three episodes of "Early Edition" videos.

Early Edition was great; wish they still had the reruns going. Poor bomb expert - I'm glad Kyle doesn't seem to have any desire to pursue that vocation in real life!

I don't know if Kyle's a Christian or not, but please let him know that I'm not the only one (Christian or otherwise) who appreciates his choices for wholesome character roles.

Since you filmed in Austin(Pflugerville)...did you commute, rent homes or stay in hotels? Since I love it here in Austin..how did like filming here?

I loved Kyle Chandler from way back in his first TV show when he was a baseball player, then in the newspaper show, then his King Kong movie and was sad when they killed him off on Greys Anatomy.
Please tell him he has a lot of fans who are very happy for him. Again, you did an excellent job in casting him for this crucial role.
