There will be more diversity in the cast. Starting in episode three, there's two new characters introduced, one African American and one Hispanic, and these characters are going to be main characters in the show and will be dealt with in a substantive manner.
In addition, starting in episode two, everyone will be introduced to Smash Williams' family, his mother and his three sisters and I think that will open up the show in a new and interesting direction.
There's been many football tv shows out there That I loved and then I got pissed cuz it got cancelled...I LOVE your show...I hope that it stays on FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

I have seen two episodes and LOVE the show. Under cast diversity I'd like to add that you need a lighter character--from the high school thats not a football player. Doesn't have to be knee-slapping, but humor is missing. There is so much intensity, just need to chuckle evry now and then. Thanks for a wonderful show !!!
Hispanics? Where are the Hispanics? There is no mix of race. By the way, sorry camera work is a kid the camera man? I felt sick I changed the channel. I will not watch again. Houston,Tx
That's not anything like Odessa football. If ya'll are going to steel the tile get the story right. The colors are BLACK AND WHITE!
I thought Friday Night Lights was good and presented an accurate cross-section of a small Texas town - everything from jerks to people of good moral character - even Christians who were not afraid to pray in the name of Jesus in public. I don't watch much TV other than sports and occasionally news, but will watch a show of this quality. Thanks!
great show, glad to see alittle prayer & Jesus on television . Don,t mind the critics keep it up.
What type of Texas town is Dillion supposed to be? What is the main industry? Are the people middle class are a mix of all types?
