Bobby: We're open to the actors' input, but the atmosphere is like when Lucy is in the chocolate factory...I spend most of my days trying to keep up with the chocolates so it's like a blur. So if someone came in and said "make the chocolates different" I would not really have the chance to do it. But since Greg is on stage a lot, he gets to talk back and forth with the actors, so when he talks to us, I'm not sure how much of it is from him vs. from the actors. I know it's important for us that we have a generally happy organism, both in the writers' room and on the stage...we're definitely in the business of keeping a happy family here and making sure peoples' ideas feel like they're heard.
Nadine: They definitely do keep us happy! They also write to our strengths for our characters and they are super talented and know what they're doing. I have definitely embraced Catalina and everything that's written for her. And for Jaime, she's so similar to Joy...so that's such a great thing for Jaime...it's written for her strengths so it makes so much sense.
Hi. My question is for nadine. Are you single? because I am. Y'know...just putting it out there.
I'm kidding. My real question is how long does it take to make one episode of the show?
