Not in a Million Years Would I Go to Indiana

Hello, Dollydeb and friends. Thank you for the invitation to your cute little July 23rd soiree in Muncie, Indiana. I'm flattered. But count me out. No offense but I never waste time in America's "flyover states."

Indiana does look pretty from the air, when flying over it in my private Gulfstream G550 jet at 35,000 feet to important world destinations like New York, London and Paris. Speaking of which, I'm currently on holiday in historic Paris. As I write, I am sipping a fine Bordeaux on the balcony of my $3500 a night suite. I'm literally a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower.

It's great to have money.

Au Revoir,
The Banker

Good morning Mr. Banker-
My My My it's quiet on your board. WHERE is everyone?

Since they heard that hurricane DOLLY will make landfall soon, maybe folks are hunkered down.

I do hope people are safe from the storm, tho. Keep safe and dry southwesties!

Mitchell, hope you are enjoying your camping trip.

Jan, keep up the polka faith.

Dawn, keep countin' those days.

Andres, stay safe from Dolly (uh, hurricane dolly).

Richard, what happened to your mock game?

LB, Martha, Kim, Eric, Linda, John, etc keep up the faith!

TTFN!

Posted by:cory lawrence | July 21, 2008, 03:53 PM

Mr. Banker-you better watch out-they named a hurricane after me....

Wow, what fame!

Good morning, Mr. Banker and fellow bloggers.

Hope all is well in DOND land.

Mid-westies, can't wait for our meet-up in Muncie, IN on Wednesday at 7 PM IN time. Mr. Banker, really wish you could be there, but guess you're still trying to practice your French in Paris.

...Does that mean you won't be back until season 10???? ggggg

Posted by:dollydeb | July 21, 2008, 11:18 AM

Hello, Hello, Hello !!!

Mister Banker, this comment on your Blog is the best yet!
Enjoy yourself there! Don’t fall off any balconies while sipping your drinks now!

Well, fellow Bloggers I’m completed in moving, heading for a big camping trip!
Mister Banker, I’ll be in a tent with cot & sleeping bags with bugs & campfire, I suppose money is good in some ways, but I love the wilderness!

Dollydeb & all the Blogging Friends which attend Muncie Reunion have a wonderful time together! Hello Marsha & Dawn & everyone!

Mister Banker, take note for your (files) of my new cell phone #: listed in under URL.

Oh gosh, Dawn, tough decision.

Now, Mr. Banker-I think Dawn was pretty clever to put HER case in the mix. She merely wanted to see if you were paying attention. Lucky for you, Richard is Howie's standin and caught the stunt.

Dawn, Mr. Banker's offer is low, but you don't have a safety net, to speak of.

Ahhhh decisions decisions.

Judy: I took 4 years of French in High School, but that was eons ago. I only know enough to be dangerous-free online translations work wonders (but, shhhh-don't tell anyone, ggggg) I learned not to try solo translation in Quebec-I ended up ordering a horse burger by mistake-ewwwwww.

Tror du jag kan lura herr Bankiren genom att tala i svenska? Han kanske håller sina pengar i en svensk bank. Tsk Tsk Tsk, Mr Banker, inte konstigt du har tillräckligt $ $ att flyga till Paris.

Hi to all the fellow bloggers-less than a week before our meetup in Muncie. Mr. Banker, I really really bet you wish you could go. I'm sure you'll be there en absentee.

Posted by:dollydeb | July 18, 2008, 08:01 AM

Dawn chose case #5.

Let's see what is in case #5.

$1000

Not too bad.

Your other cases were #3 and #23.

... yeah they are still there ... Ladies, open the cases.

$100,000
$ 750

One high and one low.

The good news is that you still have $500,000 and one million dollars remaining.

(audience applauds)

Let's see what the banker has to say.

((( ring )))

Aha. Okay. (hangup)

He said he is going to hire a Zamboni to clean up the mess you made of this game.

He also said he has got you figured out, and the agony won't last very long.

The offer went up, because you left the million dollar case up.

$27,000

If you say No Deal, you will have to select 3 more cases.

But you have no other safety nets. There are only two cases higher than his offer.

So Dawn Mays: Deal or No Deal?

*****

Your Case: #26.
Cases remaining: #1, 7, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21
Amounts remaining: $0.01, $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $200, $400, $10000, $500000, $1000000.

Posted by:Richard | July 18, 2008, 12:03 AM

oh sh-- I gues I can't work and play this game.

Richard lets go with case #5!

Posted by:NameDawn Mays | July 17, 2008, 10:44 PM

I'm sorry Dawn, but we can't open YOUR case #26, until the end of the game.

(audience laughs)

You must pick one of the cases that you have NOT selected yet.

If you can't pick one, we may need to select someone else to finish the game.

"Will you play with me?" (says Chatty Cathy)

(audience laughs)

Well let's give Dawn Mays another chance first.

Dawn Mays: pick a case that has not been selected.

(You can talk it over with your supporters first.)

For Mr. Banker, and everyone's enjoyment,

Tra-la-la-BOOM-de-ay!
Mr. Banker flown away!
On his private Gulfstream G550 jet today!
He had Au Revoir to say!

I hope his cat Bella went along
If she got out she would be gone!
California is such a big place
To protect herself I hope she has some mace!

I got the tapes I need,
To record reruns to see.
Until season 4 of "Deal Or No Deal" starts;
I thought recordings of the show was smart.
Waiting for Casting to call all day,
Just thinking I will be a Contestant and on my way.
I'll catch a plane and let come what may
And throw my old bank book away!

I'll win a MILLION cash
on the "Deal Or No Deal" show
It's time Mr. Banker got the news:
His bank account is going to take a blow.
I'll leave him some tissue out
because he'll have something to cry about
I'll take a guess he's going to think he's poor
even though he has Million's more!

I would like to say "Thank You"
I'll say it all day long
I'll even do it in a song
To show my faith is strong, knowing Casting will call

Tra-la-la-BOOM-de-ay!
Go ahead and make the the call today!
My phone number is 937-748-2769
You can call anytime of day
2 years and 2 months is along time to wait.
Don't you think my PATIENCE great!!!
Tra-la-la-BOOM-DE-AY!!

Oh, Dawn! Don't give up. At least you had a low number in the first case.

I'm on pins and needles (thanks hubby, for telling me to sit in my sewing chair-OUCH!)

What case will she pick?
What case will she choose?
With you great luck!
No way could you lose!

Go Dawn Go Dawn Go Dawn!

Mr. Banker-you have clearly met your match!

Posted by:dollydeb | July 17, 2008, 11:41 AM

Isn't that wonderful, former practice player dollydeb is here as a real supporter of Dawn Mays.

And she brought her Chatty Cathy doll. Pull the cord and let's see what she has to say.

"No Deal!"

She learns quick.

Okay Dawn, you said No Deal to $19,000. You must pick 4 more cases.

You chose cases #10, 24, 3, 23.

Let's open up case #10.

$ 100

((( audience cheers! )))

Next is case #24.

OOPS. There is no case #24. You already selected it earlier.

((( audience boos! )))

((( ring )))

That's unusual. Hello. (hangup).

The banker is sending down a special item for you, Dawn.

(Banker girl walks in ....)

Oh it's a towel.

The note says to wipe the sweat off your face. Just think of this stage as your kitchen.

Okay Dawn, you need to choose another case number.

HI Blogger fans and Mr. Banker (notice the order of the salutations?).

LB and Jan, glad to see you posting!
LB, hope you get a big house compliments of Mr. Banker.
Jan, hope you are happy dancing all the way to the bank with Banker's money.

Andres: I agree, I doubt Mr. Banker speaks French or Spanish. That's why he chose the escargot instead of the Paella (definitely would have been a better choice-yum!).

Dawn, hope Richard (uh, Howie standin) give you good low numbers with your case choices. I'm thinking happy thoughts for you.

Linda: hope you are face to face with Mr. Banker soon.

Just a week till our meet-up folks!

Whether it's French or Spanish, I don't think you're truly fluent in either one of these 2 Romance languages. Indiana's better off without a crabapple such as yourself anyways. The state of New Mexico has plenty to offer...we have Sandia Tramway, the world's longest aerial tramway...it's 2.7 miles long. We also have the Carlsbad Caverns in southern NM, and the White Sands National Monument in the central part of the state. So if you're ever in the state of New Mexico, you should check out those places.

To all of my fellow bloggers--I strongly encourage you to have some VISION. How much do you plan on winning in this game--$200K, $300K, or even $750K like Michele Falco?? More than 200 people have tried to win the $1M cash prize, but not a single one of them have been successful at winning $1M. I think ALL OF YOU need to have a specific goal in mind. My personal goal is to win $387,000 on this game, based on the dream that I had 5 months ago in February. $387K is quite a remarkable fortune, don't you think?

Hello Mr. Banker,

Hope your having a wonderful vacation!!!

Mr. Banker, I want to make a suggestion for the upcoming 4th season of the "Deal Or No Deal" show . When Casting calls me (my fingers are crossed #X## and my eyes are crossed too ( o) (o ) !!! Give them a nudge for me. When it happens and I win the MILLION, an I will!!! In honor of me being the first MILLION dollar winner, after you stop crying in your hands, I want you to trade spots with me, you be the Contestant, and I'll be the Lady Banker. Now you can wear a mask like Batman or Robin so your identity will not be exposed, and you can donate your winnings to a charity!!! So Mr.Banker "Deal Or No Deal"???

Then while your making your walk down the stairs I will say:

Hit the road Mr. Banker and don't you come back till the end of the show.
Hit the road Mr. Banker and don't you come back till the end of the show.

And even though we have never heard your voice,
In my head I can imagine you saying somethinging like this:

Woah Linda, oh Linda, don't treat me so mean,
You're the only Contestant that I've ever seen,
That could make me come out into the light.
I guess if you say so
I'll have to put on my mask and go.

Now Mr. Banker, don't worry you know how to play the game
And you'll win lots of money for a Charity today.

Have fun in Muncie you guys, hope you have a good time and wish I could come, but too broke to take a trip like that. That's why I need to get on the show, got paid yesterday and already broke!!!!

Banker,

It was a nice surprise to hear from you, hope your trip has been enjoyable. Too bad that you feel that you had to rub your trip in our faces. I would rather go to the Grand Canyon then the eiffel tower, but we are all different and unique. Banker, you are pretty self obsorbed, you need to pass a little love around. Must be from being alone in the dark too often, you have lost your sense of community. Your self concept is out of this world, maybe you should take some of that money and travel to another planet, it might suit you more.

Have a great week everyone and put on your happy feet.

On 'holiday,' Banker? Are you actually British? Or did you use 'holiday' instead of 'vacation' because it sounds more formal?

Ouch, Mr. Banker-you really could have offered Dawn a bit more. She is such a worthy contestant.

Personally, I haven't met Dawn ....yet, but we contact each other via the blog and email, and once or twice via the phone.

Lots of fun, a twin that married a twin.

Go Dawn Go Dawn Go Dawn
(I recommend you say no deal to Mr. Banker!)

Morning Everyone,
Evening to you Mr. Banker,

Save your itinerary for me Mr. Banker. I will take that trip after I win BIGTIME as a Contestant on "Deal Or No Deal"!!! Shouldn't you have gone to Italy instead so Bella could have seen her relative's?? I am going to take my furry cat's Frenchy and Pierre to France when I go.

I have mayde a discovery!!! Joytube.com then go to (Banker' Deal). It is so much fun!!! It can be used to take the blahs away while waiting for season 4.
I bet Mr. Banker uses this during during the "Deal Or No Deal" show, because he probably needs his accountants just to figure out what 2 + 2 is, (3 right)? Just joking I know it's 5.

Richard is this what you are using to play the game with Dawn?

dollybeb that is probably so true, Mr. Banker seem to always have to be somewhere up high. His little cubby hole wayyyyy up the stairs, or high in the sky in his "air"-plane which the Banker seems to be full of. And your right, he is afraid to come to Indiana.

Come on Mr. Banker,
Meet us in Muncie, Indiana, Mr. Banker,
Meet us at the Applebee's,
Don't tell us the runway lights aren't shining
For your plane to be able to land
We will sing the "Deal Or No Deal" jingle,
We will be your next Contestants,
If you will meet us in Muncie, Mr. Banker,
Meet us at Applebee's.

Glad you said NO DEAL. Mr. Banker is simply trying to ruffle your feathers.

Richard, great recap-it keeps us up on the progress.

LB-miss your posts. Hope all is well.

Hi to the rest of the bloggers!

Martha, don't push yourself too hard with your weeding.

Save some energy for Mr. Banker-remember, you two have a date coming up. If you need one of us to distract him while he's not looking, you can maybe cut the chain that's attached to his million dollar case. But, it's probably not worth it...I bet his MONEY is only monopoly money.

I bet that's why he's in Paris...he probably thinks he can pass monopoly money off as real US currency.

Le M. Banquier est aussi du poulet pour venir rencontrer les blogueurs dans Indiana.

Wellllll, maybe not CHICKEN but definitely CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!

Don't believe a word that Banker Boy says. As for the squirrels welcoming him? I'm sure they would. He's a bit squirrely himself. Enjoy that money while you can Banker. Or should I say your fantasy?

Mr. Banker

I have been thinking of what you said "You wouldn't come to Indiana in a Million years"

Well, I think if you would come to Muncie July 23rd at 7pm and visit Indiana, You know it's not a bad place,

Ball State is one of the best schools , Also Indiana has the Colts Super Bowl winners.

Bob Knight, Steve Alfred, Larry Bird,David Letterman and he attended Ball State,
Joyce Dewitt ( from Threes Company also attended Ball State)

I have lived here 18 yrs and at first it was not my favorite state but I would.nt leave now.

Just remember you will always have an open invation to come to Indiana.

Lb Dollydeb Linda Marsha Eric Judy how are you ladies?

Eric lets play our game..

HI Linda:

How did YOU know that's where I'm heading in early August-to visit family, friends, and throw a baby shower for my grandbabe-to-be!

I graduated from Lafayette HS in Wmbg, my sister and BIL attended William-and-Mary (and while I WAS accepted there, I chose a less snooty school, good ole' JMU). Hubby and I even had our second honeymoon there in April-
Mr. Banker, Linda is right-Williamsburg is a town full of wonderful history!

Even the Williamsburg squirrels welcome visitors with open paws! (so, Mr. Banker, you should fit right in!)

Dollydeb, you took the words rigth out of my mouth!!! Mr. Banker needs to drive a car, instead of getting on a plane and drive to Beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia. Now there is some history, and beauty. And even take a drive and vacation in the New England states like I want to. You've seen one Eiffel Tower you've seen them all.

Mon ami, cher M. Banquier--
Pourquoi voudriez-vous être à Paris quand les Etats-Unis ont autant de plus offrir, surtout le midwest ?

Posted by:dollydeb | July 15, 2008, 05:50 PM

HI Mr. Banker and fellow bloggers-WOW, what a day at doll club. AGAIN (grrrrr) I had to tell the ladies that there are STILL no tickets for the audience for DOND. If you think happy dolly people are strange-you should see them when they have a temper tantrum (think Chucky vs. Chatty Cathy)

Dawn-IN is great-don't listen to ole' Mr. Banker.

Linda-a big ditto!

Mr. Banker, sorry you can't make it to Muncie next week. Tell you what-I'll personally fly a nice serving of scrapple to you in Paris. Besides, how bad can scrapple be when you are probably munching on snails in Paris?

And, since you are enjoying a fine wine, how 'bout one of hubby's winestoppers to top it off? (I mean, sometimes you really should put a cork in it) He jsut got a second big order from a big winery up north. So, with or without your help, he is becoming famous!

Dawn, great numbers...now remember, don't make the decision too quickly. As Eric says, be smart, think, and remember that a good offer is better than walking away with the penny!

Okay mid-westies, just a bit over a week until our DOND meetup. Linda, can you bring your DOND board game?
