First off, I doubt if you read these comments. The producers of this show must be amateurs. A game show like this is susposed to have a little suspense to it. Last night's show (and most of last seasons), in the first commercial break you show previews of the rest of the show and you show the final banker's offer. (?) Where's the suspense? I just as well have switched channels and watched the Democratic convention, more suspense there. It's no fun when you know the contestant is going to refuse the offer. Use a little common sense, for a change.

Eric, I agree with Dawn-opinions are welcomed-and valued. Just think how boring it would be if we all thought alike.

Now, about predictions for season 4(other than the obvious):

1. I predict Mr. St. John will realize that the contestants are the ones that make the show enjoyable and he will be a bit more careful about whom he selects.

2. I predict the million dollar mission will not reappear (fingers crossed)-because the contestant has no safety net. Who can go all the way with only $5 and a million left on the board.

3. I predict that the powers-that-be will finally take notice and have one or more of the bloggers on the show. A perfect choice would be to have ALL of us for the daytime version. Since only 1 will make it, the episode should be interesting. Either way, it would surely bring 1000s more to the site-which means more sponsor dollars.

4. I predict that Mr. Banker will use more lame stunts and continue to try to be the troll ABOVE the bridge, but the audience will not buy into the act quite as much (he really didn't break the piggy bank-it was merely a stunt)

5. I predict that new bloggers will appear at the beginning of season 4, acting as if making conversation was all THEIR idea (just go back to the blogs a year or so ago and you'll see it is NOT a new idea-not to mention any names, but the Three Blogateers had that silly notion and didn't stick around for long)

6. I predict that the mid-westies will get together again, in spite of the gas prices, and have some real fun! (hey guys, I'm heading to Muncie near the end of July-anyone want to meet up? Thursday is out, but maybe Wednesday or Friday. Hmmmm, how 'bout it?

7. I predict that the bloggers will continue to support the efforts of each and everyone that is a faithful blogger, but also remember that we are in charge of our own destiny-no one ever got that dream job by doing nothing. (okay, you can gag now)

8. I predict that Mr. Banker will continue the lesson he learned from Nick-take notice of the fans because the fans are the ones that can make or break a celebrity.

9. I predict that September will follow August, and that October will follow September (whoops, I said I'd avoid the obvious, my bad)

10. I predict that this blog will continue to have wonderful bloggers such as

You should tryout, I am sure you would be good on the show. I will never give up, I am very determined to get on this show,I fiqure at 41 I should make my debut on national t.v.Playing DOND.
I am a big gambler, and I like to take chances. My husband hates when we go to vegas, I am usually broke and he still has all of his money.

I think Season 4 will be the best season yet. With the new daytime version and then having it on nightime too, I know they will change some things up, But change is good if you don't have changes than the show will never grow.
Do I think there will be a Million Dollar winner in season4?
Yes there will be one of us faithful bloggersthat will walk away with the million.
NBC should save thier money on all these casting calls and just read the blogs cause they would have enough for both shows all of Season 4.

Well Mister Banker, another one bites the dust, though she (Brady Brown) won $28,000.
Personally, you must have paid off her Gentleman Supporter there to help with confusion & distractions. I felt sorry for her in a sense with his behavior as in her decisions, she seemed a bit intimidated by choices made I believe. Then again, it was the contestant’s choice of listing Supporters on application; I believe it’s a lesson to be learned by the last Multi-Million Dollar Madness Episode! Myself, I’d left a couple of them at home or out in the parking lot some where’s! I personally thought she received a fair share of negative energy from her own Supporter’s. Certainly, the Banker had a hay day in this episode.
Sorry folk’s but I rate it low, about a one & half star! Oh, just classify it along with The Lost Episode of DOND! Other than Howie & the Lovely Models I was not impressed!

Hey Big B, and all my bloggin buds, thanks for the Happy 2months anniversary guys! So sweet of you to remember LOL. Sadly our season ends with no millionaire made but deep in my heart I know its because I haven't been on yet. LOL For the record, although I may not have been bloggin as long as some I believe my very first audition happened before most. I sent in my first tape in Oct 06 and then auditioned lived at the LA Shrine Dec 06. I waited more than a year and after Dec 07 My friends said I should do it again. So in Feb 08 when I found out the school I work for is closing I sent in another video tape. Then 1 week before my wedding I was contacted to audition live at the studio, which I did 3 days before my wedding. AND now we Wait. So dont let the dream die, dont be afraid to audition again, and dont judge others who get their shot before you. When it's finally your turn, Only God knows how you will Actually handle it. "Deal Or No Deal " was very entertaining this year, and it's all do to your wonderful offers Mr. Banker, Howie's delivery of the show, Casting's colorfull pick of Contestants, and the Producers that put the show on television. All of you are the BEST!!!

Everyone watching "Deal Or No Deal" in the comfort of their homes all have their interpretation of what they think the Contestant should do. It' a game show, and that's where the excitement lies. You think what you would do. No one is judging anyone.

I have heard on radio talk shows about when the people are interviewed, they say what amounts would change their lives for the better, and then when they are on stage that all goes out the window. That there proves that ALL PEOPLE can't be bought.

"Deal Or No Deal" is not a game of LUCK. It is a game show of how the offers add up against the board.

LB, I would like to wish you a wonderful anniversary.

Even the show will be off for a few months, and I will miss the excitement of the game, just knowing you bloggers are here will make it a little easier. Hopefully we will all be on Season 4.

I thought your dating prank that you pulled on Johnnie was just hilarious, because that man looked just like her dad, LOL! As for selecting individuals to be on DOND, I think that your 1st choices should be dollydeb, myself, and all of the other loyal bloggers here on this website. It should be those people that have submitted their applications to NBC more than 1 year ago, such as dollydeb. With the season over, I hope the Banker still has to look at his blog, it would be sad to have that stop. Who would we pick on?

I think last night's game was ok. I would have quit so much sooner then her. History has shown that the odds are against you after about the 3rd round (with very few exceptions). She could have gone home with so much more.

I am waiting very patiently for my call for the big fall Octoberfest show. We could have to great Sauerkraut Band bring in their Alpine horns, The Wendinger Brothers doing the German toast (we do it at every polkafest), the Polka Family band with their mix of Polish polkas and Mexican (great sound), there are so many great bands out there for this wonderful, fun, lively show. What a fun filled night to look forward to.

Banker tell the producers about this it could make for a very lively interesting night.

Eric I know you feel it was a bad season and I hate you feel that way, Yes we all feel most of the contestants made bad judgement calls and many on here has stated that many where greedy..I feel we should not judge , we do not know what it is like up there on stage with cameras lights and all the show biz stuff, One can watch and say what they would do but untill each of us get our chance we should not judge and wait our turn, each person has a price ,trust me people can be bought it is just a matter of what amount each will settle for.

I really hope Eric,you make it to Season 4 and you get to make those tough choses , and we will see if you have a price, cause something tells me even you would have a hard time turning down large offers.

The reason I love this game so much is because it is chance luck and there is no rhym or reason, just the luck of picking the right cases in order, that is the excitement of it, I love the fact that you can be your self have fun not really think or put alot of thought into picking the cases , cause I really feel most have the cases chosen before they get there .I know I do I have the case I want to have 1 mill in and I know in order my first 6 cases than the next 5 and so on I have had my cases pick since my interview last May 2,2008.

Linda, you hit the nail on the head. Deal or no Deal saves the worst for last. Although she won $28,000, she pushed her game too far and sold her $50,000 case as well. A bad ending to what a lot of bloggers and myself included called the worst season of Deal or no Deal history. Linda, remember my two points of advice

OH NO!!! This wasn't the way to leave this season hanging! And it wasn't entertaining! I thought the episode with Wesley Autrey was bad, but this show has it beat. If she would have kept her arems down and not crossed, she might have been able to examine the board and the Banker's offers better. That's why she ended up with so little. When you have a wonderful opportunity given to you like this, you need to think and make the most of it. And she didn't. Like I have said before:

Hey all, Here is some info I found regarding the Syndicated Deal. Banker wont answer these questions, Im sure.Hope this info helps.

The first syndicated taping began on May 21, 2008. The top prize is set at $500,000.

Here are the 22 amounts that are featured since 22 cases will be used held by 22 different contestants.

$10 $7,500
$25 $10,000
$50 $25,000
$100 $50,000
$200 $75,000
$300 $100,000
$400 $250,000
$500 $500,000

The format on how many cases are to be opened in each round goes as 5-5-4-2-2-1-1.

The contestant will not have supporters to help on their decisions. The contestants have a whole week of shows to be selected. If they do not get picked they go back in the pool for a future episode either on syndication or the NBC prime time version.

As I predicted, the Deal Wheel will be used to determine who will be picked with the case number they are holding. The ball and wheel will be looked after by Patricia (case #9) and Tameka (case #21). The number the ball lands on is where the contestant holding that case will be playing for their case at up to $500,000.

I can't believe that Season 3 is about to come to an end!! The time has just literally flown by! I would have to say that Jay Garrity from Boston is now my favorite DOND contestant, because him and I were both born on September 24!! And I liked the way Jay interacted with the audience right before the $335K offer. He even said, "I'm going in that pumpkin pie if I win the $1M." The only thing that I don't understand is why he hugged Howie so much...maybe it was for good luck, or maybe it was his way of releasing all his nervous energy??

Well let's face it, this season, We had the October to forget where we had three contestants sell their million dollar dollar cases, snake gate, Heather McKee winning a penny, The DOND world tour, million dollar missions failing to produce a millionaire, and of course, Johnnie Taylor selling her million dollar case on March 12, on the one year anniversary of the Hugh Neisler, Dave Atherton nightmare. Let's all hope the season finale ends this season on a positve note.

Banker and Bloggers,

We are having fantastic weather here in MN (finally), hope the same is true for all of you.

I hope DOND received my long letter with lots of pictures of me and my family. I hope you enjoyed the ones showing the kid side of me.

Well I have gotten to the point financially where I've been selling my stuff. Has helped some, however it has only put a dent in my bills. Now I'm living with minimal stuff, but I don't need stuff, I just want to have fun when I retire, and in order to do that I need to beable to save (what's that?), something I haven't been able to do since my husband passed away. No savings and I'm 57 years old....ouch! My mom lives off of $650 a month, and I just don't want to live like that. I guess I feel you should enjoy retirement, not just stay home and watch your remaining life go by. I would love to take my mom to Vegas and watch her have fun!

I know we are all hurting one way or the other, and its not easy. My son and I need new cars soon and neither one of us could possibly afford one. Its sad, but I still have my nature and my little camera to catch that perfect nature picture with (would like a zoom camera so I can take pictures farther away, but that won't be anytime soon.

I hope with all the job loses (glad I still have mine) and the people hurting that who ever gets on DOND will help some out. Especially family....mine needs a trip, we've never, ever taken a trip all together, it would be so fun for me to be able to take them somewhere they have never been.

Well everyone keep enjoying the free stuff that is on this earth, there is so much to enjoy in nature and keep those happy feet going. Dance on!

I will miss DOND, so until fall keep up your hoping to get on the show, I still think Octoberfest is my time.

Mr. Banker, I know that last year one of my WHEN I GET on STAGE requests was to help not only my state and Beautiful Gate, but also hubby and kids.

But,(just had to say this) yesterday hubby met with a potential customer for his woodworking that has been featured on several networks.

This could be a great connection for his woodworking business venture. Not much income from it, but great promotion, on an international scale. I'm so proud of hubby! He is such a talented artisan.

Reading about
anniversaries made me think of some wonderful memories. My anniversary is August 31st. My husband passed March 2004, so my 3 daughters and I celebrate it and think of the ones past with their Daddy, and my wonderful Husband Louie.

We were a May - December romance. He was born in May, and I was born In December. Louie was 16 years older than me. He was one in a Million. Once you've had the best, nothing else will ever do.

I am going to tell you a story to let you know just how wonderful Louie was. He planned a trip for the fun and wonder of New York, and the history, and beauty of the New England States. We made it to Philadelphia, PA., checked into our hotel around 11:00 p.m., and by 5:00 a.m., he was taken to the hospital, because he was starting to have a heart attack.

If I am lucky to enough to become a Contestant on "Deal Or No Deal" this is the first thing I will do, take the trip he so badly wanted to take with us.

No vacation, just took the bike out for a run this weekend what a great weekend for it as well.
We also enjoyed the bikerfest in Colorado Springs this weekend. 100k bikers all rallyed and had a great big party on the downtown streets of colorado springs.

Linda I too was at piqua Oh, for that tryout , I thought it was fun. I was around 85 in line so I was able to stay over night in the mall. I made it thur to the second round which only meant I went to a different table and had to talk to a different guy. I tried out last yr May 1 and 2 2007 In Indianapolis Indiana now there I was asked back the next day with my support qroup and I was interview and tape a mock game by a casting director named Neal he was so very nice and said that it went great, I have been waiting 418 days since my first tryout and 77 days since the second in Ohio.

Hello banker from John I live here in Anchorage Alaska. I would like to be on deal or no deal on a live show. I sent some paper work and I hope that you pick me I would love to be one of the shows winners and it would mean a lot to me. I watch this every week when ever its on and I even watch the re-runs. I have some family members that are in the hospital with life threating conditions and if I win I could help them. My nephew that is only 14 has cancer and my 44 year old sister is so sick that she has been in the hospital for two weeks. So please pick me.

According to an NBC employee, it takes up to 1 full year for casting call attendees to get on the show, but I don't know the waiting time for all those thousands of people that actually mailed in their videotapes, like dollydeb. Hello everyone,

This is Eric again hoping everyone had a good work week. Dawn Mays, I liked Season 3 of Deal or no Deal and enjoy watching the show but there were things about Season 3 that made you want to throw up or turn the tv off like the October debacle where we had three players Alicia Whitaker, Wynetta Willams, and Neal Washington sell their million dollar cases, George Barnes selling his million dollar case in the NFL episode, Heather McKee who by the way was the worst contestant in Season 3, winning a penny. The banker sending snakes to scare Wynetta Williams, Johnnie Taylor selling her million dollar case on the one year anniversary of the Dave Atherton Hugh Neisler debacle, and the million dollar missions failing to get a millionaire. Dawn Mays, I think Season 3 was a Dr. Jekyll and Mr, Hyde one. One minute you want to stand up and cheer, the next you want to turn off the TV. Let's hope Season 4 doesn't turn out that way.

I literally have a transparent jar in which I save and collect all my pocket change. So I DESPERATELY NEED to be on this show. Good luck getting on the show. I know you've been waiting for over two years trying to get on DOND but hang in there. If you get on the show please do these two things

1. Don't be wild or too emotional when something good happens. The banker will do whatever it takes to keep you from beating him.

2. Don't let greed consume you. The last thing we need is another Heather Mckee, (the worst contestant in Season 3 when she won a penny) Brooks Leach, or a Julie Lonero. Just have fun and play smart.

So Banker man, you use moisturizer, all that means is that your sags and wrinkles are soft...ewwwww. As for the child girls throwing themselves at you, you already said it they aren't doing it cuz of your looks it's cuz of the money!! Yep money can make many a woman blind. Especially the young and inexperienced. Not me though. Of course to prove this you will just have to have me on the show. Now you want to know some fears of mine so you can use them against me. Well here are a few....

1. Bankers scare me since I deal with them every day.
2. I am so scared of money especially the amount of one million dollars
3. I am scared of 26 gorgeous men all in one room at one time.
4. Decisions are something I don't like to make, you know like deal or no deal.
5. I am afraid of unicorns, fairies, and any mythical creature. (let's see you find those to use against me)

Bill Palmer did 8 episodes as the Banker in 2006 and Mr. Peter Abbay was the banker for only 6 episodes in 2007. You dont know who the Banker is in 2008 so calling this man by another man's name is not only annoying to him BUT it's also annoying to US the bloggers. So please stop! Mr. Peter Abbay, I was confused about something--according to all the promo, Chris was supposed to have 13 $1M cases on his board, but he only had 3 when the show actually aired. What happened?? Were you too chicken to have him play with 13 $1M cases??

Dear Banker Boy,
I WAS touched at your post about how you admire our military men/women. Did they tell you about my son? Brandon is now home from serving 15 months in Baghdad, Iraq. I know they were looking for military men/women who have or will be serving in Iraq, so I called to keep them updated on him. I doubt there's time to at least get him on the show, but wanted to let them know all the same. Since you do have a heart for them, please keep him in your thoughts since his Unit is already scheduled to deploy for another year already. If he doesn't get accepted into Officer's Training, he'll deploy again in 2 to 4 months. He just got home. If he does get in as Officer, it's inevitable he'll serve in Iraq again, but at least it would delay it some.

Thought you may like to know that.......plus, naturally I'm very proud of him.

I don't love him. In fact, I said it before..... I don't like him, I don't.

I really only have one little bit of criticism about the show....no male models. I mean, it's not like the show's audience or contestants are excusively "interested" in women. I suggest throwing in some hot men beside those cases every once in a while.
