Banker Good Deed

I'm tired of you bloggers insulting and ripping me to shreds on this site.
Remember, contestants aren't OWED money just for showing up on "Deal." They have to EARN it.

Just to prove that I'm a good man at heart, this morning I gave a homeless family with a German Shepard, 73 cents. They were at a gas station near Culver City, where we shoot the show. I didn't have to give them money, but I did. So at least there's one grateful family and a dog that appreciate me!

OK, Mr. Banker, there are so many reasons why people are ripping you to shreds! Where shall I begin? Let's see, it was very cruel of you to play that snake prank on Wynnetta Williams. Or what about the time you gave Dimitria Apostolopoulos a beaker full of your own spit? Or remember the time when you brought out that horrible-looking tarantula to scare Bevy Futch? But the WORST of it was when you brought out the Mariachi prank, that was just downright insulting to me. Who do you think you are?

My name is nhu pham. My brother and I always eat dinner and watch your show. We would pretend that we were the contestant and we would pick our 1 million dollar suit case. It was always his dream tp be on your show on day. But that will never happen because he was in a drowning accident during spring break. Is there anyway you can help me make my brother wish come true? Maybe that miracle will help him wake up and come back to us. I know there is a soft spot in your heart.

Mr. Peter Abbay, aka The Banker, I drove 600 MILES all the way to Salt Lake City, UT, for the DOND casting call on April 12, 2008. I did this trip in pursuit of a dream that I won $387,000 on DOND!! So I'm going to see you in about 10 months! Brace yourself, I'm going to win the $1M!!!

Okay, I'll make it up to you. How about instead of 73 cents, I give everyone here a dollar? Then that would make me better than the Banker himself! Ha!

Oh, and LB - does that stand for Love Bringer? - I already pray every day. I'm a Jew, you see, and a religious one at that. I wouldn't go as far as calling my words negativity; rather, I'd say I was being brutally honest. Someone around here has to, I suppose. My words may be poison barbs to some, but not to all. Believe me when I say that I am not out to crush people's dreams.

Dawn, I am impressed by your perserverance and dedication. It's been, what, 14,367 days since you sent off your last application, and you still remain confident that your day will come. I hope it does.

Marsha, I know that I was quick in my judgement of the homeless, but unfortunately, I'm right. Here in Montreal, Canada, where I live, they really do use the money for drugs, and it's a documented fact. Thus, everyone, not just me, avoids giving them any kind of money. It's sad, but unfortunately, it's true. Luckily, homeless shelters and other places here in Montreal are helping thes people out, and giving them something that is more valuable than a mere 73 cents - a roof over their heads, food, and clothing. I rest my case (no pun intended).

I remain,
-Case 27.

Did you ever wanna "draw" in the good, "erase" the bad, "pencil" in possibilities and "scribble" in more funnies?"

Hi to the Banker!
Case 27 what is your attitude ? Do you know it takes just as much energy to be happy, positive as it does to be so NEGATIVE and SAD?????
I have tried out for the show twice and I am very Determined to get on the show, I also believe I will, Because, unlike you I am a Positive, up beat energic, never give up ,Determined,Persistent, Always happy attitude. YOu should try to be more positive yourself you must spend alot of time feeling negative, I will stay positive for you, maybe one day you will see life is to short not to feel good and think positive no matter what the situation is.
Dollydeb I glad you are always happy that is why you and I click, cause we stay happy and we have a positive attitude.

Now,I have said it before let me REPEAT MYSELF I WILL CONTINUE TO COUNT DAYS!!UNTILL THEY CALL ME!!!

Now, I hope that clears that up.

Today is May 18 2008 and that makes it day 384!! Still waiting for my call from producers with a positive atitude and always smiling!

Okay, time for a major reality check:

Eric: Don't expect a millionaire for the next 20 years or so. I've given up, and the rest of you should probably do the same.

Dawn Mays: Either give up already or reapply. Something tells me that announcing how many days it's been since you sent out your application won't help your situation.

Dollybeb: Why are you so happy all the time? No one can be happy all the time, save for you, I guess.

Tickle: Keep on tickling, I guess.

Banker: You did much better than I would have even done. I probably would have kept on walking and ignored them. I never give money to people on the street because they'll most likely use it to buy drugs or something worse. Now that's what I call wasting money.

And there's your reality check for this week. Hope you learned something.

I remain,
-Case 27.

Hello friends,

This is Eric again hoping everyone is ready for the multi-million madness chamber. It should be interesting to see what happens. I hope we have a millionaire by season's end. Keep your fingers crossed everyone.

Until next time
Eric

Hi Mr. Banker and fellow bloggers-still out of town, but wanted to let you know that I'm still here (okay, now wait a minute....are those tears of joy or tears of dispair with that comment?)

Eric-my favorite episode from Season THREE is where ALL the bloggers are on stage with Howie, given' Mr. Banker a what 'fer! Actually-I have to think on that one, I tend towards the warm fuzzies, but sometimes hubby and I prefer it when greed gets the best of a not-so-nice contestant and they walk away with very little. (what I call the "JUST one more CASE and I'm done..." for 3 or 4 rounds)

Since DOND refuses to put any bloggers on the show, the only way to force the issue is to STOP BLOGGING. Send tham a real clear message.

Mister Misterious Banker,

This coming Full Moon is considered a: (GRAND TRINE) effect, what more could I ask for, being a Scorpio. (Nov. 1st, 1962)

Other than requesting to be a contestant on DOND. NOTE: Have you seen my application & reviewed my profile & etc., Hope so !

I hope all this energy flows into the Producers there & causes them to call me, if an opening arises.

It would be the best, "Once In A Blue Moon Ever" !!

Note: Tomorrow thur the Full Moon on the 19th I'll be in wilderness out by the Flat Rock River having a camp fire, I'll send smoke signals toward you Mister Banker. If you see a Black Crow near you cawling out (caw, caw, caw) it'll be your sign to get the Producer's there to call me soon.

Take Care !

Eric, Eric my friend, I believe you've listed the wrong bloggers. Personally, myself, I enjoy each & every episode of DOND.
Also, The Banker Rules !!
Multi- Million Dollar Madness Episodes just might be the best yet, stay tuned my friend.

Hello friends,

This is Eric again and I hope everyone enjoyed the DOND World tour. Dollydeb, Mitchell, Case 27 said there wasn't a good thing about Season 3 of Deal or no Deal. What are some good things about Season 3? I look forward to your responses.

Until next time
Eric

P.S. I know Season 3 hasn't been the best season so far, but there's always next year

Hi Mr. Banker-
once again I am in sunny FL! But, that's okay-I hear it is nice and sunny in CA too.

HI Dawn-hope you are all better now!
Marsha-have you sent in a tape yet?

Mr. Banker-why don't you show up at the casting call in CA this weekend (seems like a place that Sir Paul would like to be) and see which people are "worthy" of becoming your opponent.

better yet-why don't you ask Howie to get more Mopani worms-a BOWL full and have ALL of your super bloggers on as one GROUP contestant!!! We can split the winnings!

Posted by:dollydeb | May 15, 2008, 06:29 PM

Mr BAnker,
I am waiting for your challenge back I challenged you way back when and the only thing you had, was to pick on me. I am waiting for your personal invitation to send in my application. I am ready to rumble and show you what a reaL CONTESTANT IS ALL ABOUT.So get off your high horse and BRING IT!!!!!
I have past your beatings on this website and ready to rock the house.

Posted by:Marsha Marsha Marsha | May 15, 2008, 06:01 PM

Banker: I know Gotfried Schmidt got your goat when you were a young lad.

You are probably asking who is (was) Gotfried Schmidt? I will tell you, when I appear as your opponent on DEAL or NO DEAL.

Brian Nadler
Future Deal or No Deal Contestant

Posted by:Brian Nadler | May 15, 2008, 02:26 PM

Mr. Banker, your jerk moves are the best part of the show and most of the reason I watch it!

I hope you had a spare car for when the Gladiators flipped it over though.

Mr. Banker,
Today is May 15 2008 and that means I have been waiting 381 days to have your producers call me!!!

Banker Banker Banker, Is that what you like to call yourself? Let me add this to your job description, Mr Banker...How 'bout assisting the casting staff in their picking of Philadelphia's constestants. Make sure I'm deemed as the "chosen one" & I'll be right there to give you your first lesson in Banking Done Right 101. That's right "banker", this bank-teller(working for the 3rd largest bank in the country, I might add) was called back for a taped audition & I'm anxiously waiting to come to LA to personally deliver your pink slip. You know ZLICH about customer service which is always 1st & I would LOVE to be your teacher. Let me see what you're made of & come get this spanking....oops, I mean lesson. Howie would love & appreciate his shirt I had hand-designed right here in the "City of Brotherly Love"....I'm waiting!

Did you ever wanna be "well to do" and get "ooh la la" at the same time? :)

Posted by:Dreamer Alive | May 14, 2008, 10:45 PM

Oh, Mr. Banker, how could you?

How could you let Howie convince the contestant to eat those CUTE little mopani worms?!! HOW could you???? (actually, yes, I DO know they are a great food source in the region-I always do research before I write my stories....but, hey, we eat chickens and I have seem many cute children's stories about chickens, too).

Either way-she could have been eating Chipo's (pronounced Chee' Poh) sisters and brothers.

How could you? Usually you are the one with snakes and spiders, etc.

Wait, I guess I need to explain. I almost fell off my chair when I saw the model walk out with the bowl of worms.
Hubby and I looked at each other and immediately said
MOPANI-It's Chipo (the main character in my latest children's book.)

Hey, for 10K I'd eat them, too, ggggg-I hear they are quite tasty-and the mopani wood smells just like a cookout when hubby turns it in his woodshop.

Here's a video....with my latest book and the handturned mopani worm CHIPO who takes a chance (just like on DOND) and has a beautiful outcome by doing so.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ABSM9ElPEOM

Gee-what are the odds-my latest book is about the same worm that is featured in my favorite game show. Wow! Coincidence? Hmmmmm.....

BTW-I'm heading to FL tomorrow and will see a friend from South Africa on Friday-again, WOW!

Mr. Banker-how could you???!!!! See-it must be fate that one day, Mr. Banker will speak with "the powers-that-be" and have ALL of the faithful bloggers on our favorite game show-DOND!!

Mister Mysterious Banker I have respect for you not having fear.
I studied my weakness & slight fear appeared.
RE: Those Mysterious (Swarm) of Quakes Offshore State of Oregon there in recent wks. Along with the Pacific NW Tectonic Plates moving ?
I have a question, what are my chances experiencing an earthquake, or great tsunami there if I'm a contestant ?
Will you throw in a raft along with the DEAL ?
I certainly feel badly for both places & regions where a tsunami & earthquake has stuck.
These people need our prayers !
Mister Banker, you keep up your good deeds please & order some rubber raft to escape from there.
P.S. Hope to hear from you soon ! Your being very quiet ! Does Bella have your tounge ?

Hi Mr. Banker-
This is for Mr. Tickle-nope, not blond, but was a firecracker redhead when I was young (until the henna wash grew out, gggg-just kidding, more auburn than allburnt).

Hubby thinks my memory lapses are because I'm short-making me a bit DENSER than most. Hmmmm, wonder who gets that one?

Either way, thanks for the update-I will watch it for sure. I don't leave for my business trip until early Thursday anyway (AND will see my friend from South Africa on Friday-if I get there in time we can go see Davey Jones in concert-woo hoo!)

Seeeeeeee, Mr. Banker-I knew one of your wonderful bloggers would point me in the right direction.

Dreamer-great question for today-our attitude is definitely what determines our lives.

Hi Mr. Banker-
Welcome to Banker's Blog, Queen Pants(would love to know how you chose that moniker) Your business sounds interesting.

My hubby makes OOAK handturned winestoppers and is getting quite well known in our own region of Wine Country up here-the 45th Parallel. (no thanks to Mr. Banker-that was on my wish list for last year, to get some of Mr. Banker's $$ to help get hubby's business going, but we managed without his aid.)

We'd love to come to the CA wine country, too-I bet the view is wonderful!

And, speaking of business endeavors....a BIG CONGRATS to LB's latest triumph. Woo Hoo!

Hi Mr. Banker,

I'd like the "Million Dollars Mission" too. you started it so you have to finish it, so don't stop. I'm wondering when you are going to stop by the central coast of California (San Luis Obispo) - land of wine, try our local one and do some casting here. you won't be disappointed. We are having Wine Festival this weekend may 16-19. Wanna join us?

Good Morning, Mr. Banker-
I "think" tonight is the South Africa episode. I truly hope you watch it, even tho you are not officially part of it. SA and the rest of Sourthern Africa needs help, too. So, if you can spare any more cents (or dollars, for that matter) two very worthy causes in that region are Beautiful Gate and Village of Hope. Beautiful Gate is for orphans of aids and Village of Hope is to help children become children again, not forced into work at an early age.

I look forward to tonight's episode. Don't you?!

My youngest son is presently sitting in "the good son" seat (the jury is still out on the older one)-he fedexed cards and a special photo of him in one of his races-he placed very well in that one.

:-)

Did you get a receipt?

Hello friends,

This is Eric again and I hope everyone bought something for their mother. As for the buzz that the contestants, in the third installment of million dollar millon, pull out an envelope out of a box and when they open it up, there's a card that reads how many $1,000,000 cases are in the game from 2 to 13 cases, why hadn't Deal or No Deal thought of that earlier in the season. Let's hope third time's a charm this time as Deal or no Deal tries to end Season 3 on a positive note

Until next time
Eric

P.S. Deal or no Deal may not have had the best ideas or the best contestants this season, but I'm confident Season 3 will end on positve note.

HI Mr. Banker and fellow bloggers:

Dawn-glad to see you posting again, Mr. Tickle-we all mostly agree-Mr. Banker does have a heart. And, maybe it was the 73 cents the family needed at the register.

Maybe he is just a bit off his game since he didn't get to attend the tapings abroad.

Eric: yes, we're taking my MIL to dinner tonight. I already called Momma (she's in VA) to wish her happy MD. I called yesterday 'cause I wanted to be the first daughter to call (imagine this-

7 people in my family ALL of us born on a different day of the week. What are the odds there? well, I guess the answer to that one is me, gggg. But-how many families in the U.S. with only 7 members in the nuclear family ALL born on a different day of the week.

BTW-Marsha, I have my calendar marked for July 13th for you!

Posted by:dollydeb | May 10, 2008, 11:29 AM

Mr. Banker,
73 cents please clear this up. Please tell me that the family went in to pay and they were 73 cents short of having enough to pay for gas or what ever they were purchasing. Cause Dude, 73 cents is'nt going to buy much.
we all know you have a heart everyone is born with one, We also know you have feeling, cause everyone does, But Mr. Banker you put yourself up to be picked on.

I do agree with you, you don't owe any contestant money, It is a game and people must play smart in order to recieve the prize.
Try not to bring people down, break piggy banks, bring
out snakes, and Please retire the Banker Boyz.

Try showing kindness to the contestant, a kind word, maybe chocolate, just show us you do care about the contestantand you are'nt out to be so mean and rude to all the contestants or I should say the majority of the contestants.

Now, Mr. Banker I like you,I like anyone who can be true to themselves, who can stand up and take what is dished out. I'm sure you are a carring man who only wants to help people,BUT YOU MUST START SHOWING SOME KINDNESS,SOME KIND OF GOODNESS,SMILE YOUR ACTIONS ARE STRONGER THAN WORD,

TODAY IS DAY 376!! I am Determined to be on the show , and I want to meet everyone!!! Lady ,I can't wait to you girl, we will have so much fun!!!!!

73 cents, is 73 cents, the same value as $50.00 if greatly needed. Wonderful deed Mister Banker. Don't get dismayed, everyone knows you have a heart of gold ! It's just that it's sometimes an outlet to pick on the Banker, sort of like - (stress relief). Everyone knows your the man of the show !!
It's like being on a fun ride & roller coaster, oh sticks & stones might break your bones, but words will not harm ya Mister Banker. Enjoy the ride, we love the show !!! Howie & the Wonderful Models !! Nick & the Producers, what would America do without DOND ?
As all my children raised watching various things on T.V. getting so emotional, I'd say; oh now, it's just a movie. Many times you've tried detering contestants from greed earning their winnings & so forth, we are aware of all your goodness.
IT'S ALL ABOUT FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT !
What, are you just throwing comments out there to gain abilities seeking your host of bloggers weaknesses. You'll not acknowledge mine Sir !
I'll earn the Million fare & square !

Hello friends,

This is Eric again and I hope all you bloggers bought something for your mother because Sunday is Mother's day. Well, I hope the third installment of the Million Dollar Mission can bring home a million to not only the contestant, DOND, but to NBC as well.

Until next time
Eric

P.S. I don't think I needed to be insane to keep watching Deal or no Deal in spite of the setbacks and snake gate this season, but I think it probably helped.

Wow, Mr. Banker- such venom.

Anyway, I know your comments are only meant to create a chatter on here and that you would never consider such a LOWLY act.

When you posted the positive comment about the soldier, you had lots of virtual pats on the back and I applauded your patriotism!

So, why say something so downright mean-especially with times as they are.

Do you remember the commercial that only aired for couple of weeks, where families were shown in their homes, with a variety of settings across the country (sorry this is so long)? Well, it ended with a family in a rundown camper behind a building-obviously, many saw it as being in bad taste, so the ad was pulled.
Well, there are lines that simply should not be crossed, especially not in a hurtful way.

Marsha-YOU GO Girl. Instead of applauding Mr. Banker, I applaud you!

So, in the future Mr. Banker, feel free to poke fun at the blog fans-we can take it, but also please remember where the line is.

LB, I agree-Mr. Banker does want to ruffle some feathers here, but deep down he probably cares deeply about the state of our nation.

It's all an act and everyone makes the wrong comments from time to time.

Okay, 'nuff said.
BTW-I have hundreds of blossoms on my strawberry plants and when I return from my last business trip for the spring, you are ALL invited up to MI for some awesome strawberry shortcake.
Mr. Banker-you're invited, too.

Come on guys, the banker did it to you again! He pushed your buttons...

I'm sorry Jofus, but I like the million dollar mission. It goes to show, that all odds are just that, they are like a crap shoot and no matter how many times you get angry with people for not quitting or quitting, its a personal choice. Some go on and go all the way, because they feel they will never have the chance again to try for a million, some quit because they feel winning even $34,000 is better then nothing.

All of you have your own way of playing and your thoughts about playing, but don't criticize people for doing what they feel is right at the time. It doesn't make them dumb, morons or anything else.

I will quit when I feel I have enough to help my son, help my mom, get my grandson to disney world before he gets too old to enjoy it, help pay my bills, however if it looks to me like I might not beable to make it, I will walk away with $14,000 with a smile on my face. Where else can you get 233. + dollars a minute? I would never think of myself as a loser. I would be a winner no matter what.

I would love to get on the million dollar mission, it would be an honor and lots of fun....

I agree with you Mr. Banker sometimes you do get ripped to shreds for the dumbest things on this blog, but come-on dude...73 cents??? You are inciting people to rip into with that one! Im beginning to think you like rubbing folks the wrong way just to get a reaction...I know deep down inside you are Not as menacing as you try to appear. It's truly not that serious.

I've heard the producers are forcing you to start another ridiculous
"Million Dollar Mission" that begins later this month and will continue on the nighttime show until at least June 24th.

This time, the buzz is that contestants pull out an envelope out of a box or drum and when they open it up, a number on a card inside that envelope determines how many $1,000,000 cases are in the game, anywhere from two cases to 13 cases.

You can't let them get away with this!

If any "Million Dollar Mission" shows are yet to be taped, put your foot down! Tell them to stop this madness or they could hire Piers Morgan to be next season's banker on both the nighttime and daytime shows.
