A few of you have asked about whether or not the player's personalities affect my offers (i.e. are my offers inversely proportional to how annoying I find the contestant).
While many of the people I have to face make me want to drive a pencil through my flesh, I never let my personal feelings get in the way of what I have to do which is take people out of the game with a small cash prize.
If my offers were solely based on how I felt about the players, I could reduce our prize payouts to $10 a game.
Love,
The Banker

I understand about the feelings part. So, they dont have money and the banker isnt giving any out. hello your even lucky your on the show. If you walk out with 50 bucks that was your choice. The banker is doing his job. Let him do his job. The end. The story

Hello there,
Reading a few of your comments, one particular answer caught my eyes. You replied to a person "cool down, man; it's just a game", or something along that line. Corroborated with the fact that you call yourself a "borderline psychic" it prompts me to ask you a couple of questions.
Well, it is just a game, indeed. However, scanning through the winners' list, one could not but notice that most or frequent winners come from three states: California, Colorado, and Washington. Of course, there are names from other states to ensure the "random" factor, yet the proportion is very small (talking...numbers, eh?). Is there any explanation for this FACT? How much of the "psychic" factor is involved in picking the winners of the "lucky case" at... "Random"? This show reminds me of the same deal noticed on the Overhaulin' show: people from all 50 states + Canada can apply for a car overhauling, yet only people from California are chosen. You guys indeed got the "random" factor down to...perfection. : Wink:
Nevermind talking further about the "surprise" on the contestants' faces when they are pulled from the audience... Coming with "it is still warm" pies made especially for Howie gives a hint for how "surprised" and "clueless" contestants are when picked from the crowd...
By the way, do you need to adhere to "acting weird and over joyous on the stage" in order to have a chance to get on the show?
One more thing: how "random" of a chance you folks give people to get on the show if they don't possess (hey, everyone wants to become contestant b/c of a financial rationale, isn't that right?) a camcorder or don't have the possibility to rent/borrow one, since sending a tape in is the benchmark for becoming a contestant? Some folks (detractors) might ask "hey, dude, what corner of the world you live in since you cannot afford/find a camcorder?"... But I guess I am not the only one mentioning not having a camcorder…

Well I can say you make some tempting offers when playing but being I know what its like to lose everything allready so walking out of the show with nothing but meeting Howie would be worth the trip alone but dont own a
video camera so wont have
the opportunity to even apply ...your doing a great job Banker love the show

I just learned that one of the twenty-six girls was formerly a man. He underwent gender reassignment therapy for three years before having the anatomical surgery necessary to complete his changeover to be a "her" in July, 2005. While this is not a big deal (pardon the pun) in today's enlightened world, it is most interesting to hear what she did with the spare parts left over from that surgery. Let's just say that if you borrowed her car, you'd likely drive only in first gear.

Why not make the game even more interesting and entertaining (especially to MY followers) by adding four variants as follows:
1. Have one of the cases contain explosives that detonate when the case is opened.
2. Place explosives under the Banker's seat that detonate if a contestant wins the $1M prize.
3. Place explosives randomly under the seat of an audience member that detonates when a specific case is opened.
4. Have Howie wear an explosive belt that detonates when a contestant says the "secret word". Before the contestants are brought out a duck can come down from above to reveal the secret word to everyone else. Wow . . . what a novel idea.
Now THAT would be a show worthy of an Emmy . . . or possibly even an Allah!

Don't you just LOVE the morons who've been commenting about one of the sister contestants being on a "porn" site? I see two possibilities:
1. The comment is from a female: Typically the female who makes such a comment is an incredible loser who couldn't BUY a bang at the end of an all-night frat party. She's mad because men can't see past her flab and zits.
2. The comment is from a male: This jerkface became aroused at the sight of the girl he knows as "Christy" when she appeared on DOND and began to pleasure himself as soon as he recognized her. Unfortunately, his orgasm was when Howie's face filled the screen. Now he's mad because he realizes his true orientation.

Greetings Banker from a cold and wet Canada! Just so you know trhey are calling for "flurries' today!
I hope you dress warm when you come up here in - because you are going to get a chilly reception from the Canadian contestants.
All of us that have sent in our applications really want to take those "loonies' home - a $1,000,000 worth I hope!
Now Howie on the other hand will get a a really warm reception....we're so proud of him and his hard work and success...
I am glad to hear that you do not base your decisions based on personality of the contestant - let's do a little test shall we.....
In honour of your visit I have wrote a little PO-EM for you and Howie
Here goes....
Ode To the Handsome Host, The Banker and Red Headed Vixen (ohh that's me!)
There once was redheaded vixen named Mini,
Who thought she knew the Deal Or No Deal skinny.
She applied with a wish, and the seal of a kiss,
Hoping to become a very, very rich Miss.
She arrive on set, all a buzz and a flutter.
As she stood tall and tried not to mutter.
The banker, dark, foreboding, and as silent as ever
Looked down upon her and said via Howie, ?No winning little Miss - Not today - Not ever!?
Miss Mini looked to our hero ?Handsome Howie? for a clue
But the ever-charming and smiling host said not "Boo"
With her hand to her forehead the little vixen gasped, ? What am I to do ? What am I to do?
Mini looked to her supporters who yelled frantically "Twenty-two - Twenty-two!"
The Banker had the redheaded vixen ride a tide of emotions, until she though she?d have a fit
The former carpet salesman tried to sell and temp the lady with smooth talk, his logic and wit.
Ahh, but at the end of the game ? our little lady had won and yelled "Yippee Yahoo Yahoo!"
And to the banker Miss Mini lowered her lashes, nodded and smiled, as she whispered "Adieu - Adieu" and a quiet "Screw you!"
No hard feelings Banker....
Hope to see you in "Ta -ranta"!
Cheers!
Mini

Mr. Banker, I think DEAL OR NO DEAL became a hit in 35 COUNTRIES..... In Spain I think or Mexico.. here in
AMERICA...
GIANT NETWORKS are on war..:
*ABC-7 vs. CBS-2 vs. NBC-5 vs. FOX etc...
why is it to many while other countries only have TWO...
like in the Philippine:
ABS-CBN vs. GMA-7
-ABS-CBN purchased:
Big Brother, DEAL OR NO DEAL?!, DREAM SONG WRITING (Dream Academy).. all from Endemol and got ratings over 40-60% ratings...
Korea:
KBS vs. SBS
blah blah...

I sure wanted the guy last night (Oct. 30th) to do well but knew it was doomed by the 5th case, poor guy. Some folks just have no luck.

Mr. B, My guess is, you're a consumate poker player, as is evident, by the fact you have the advantage in discerning the contestants "tells", yet obscure your own. I have no doubt, you've banked a few times in your finace background ; ) Like our president, you have a job very few could do, I hope you make more $ than Howie, you're probably worth your weight in gold. You have a distinctive profile and a great sense of humor. LMAO at the "pencil in the flesh comment". Keep up the good work and blog on Mr. B

Hmm. Between wearing Holly's hat and saying something to the effect of 'Please take home something' to Kevin tonight...I think your therapist might be pleased. Maybe she'll think you've made a bit of progress with the 'immersion therapy' she's subjecting you to.
I dunno though...something tells me you'll be right back to plotting the downfall of future contestants - and enjoying it too - soon enough. *g*

Hey, I was wondering if the amounts you offer are based completely on mathematics, or if there is some wiggle room based on the contestants mindset, and the actual briefcase they have? I'm pretty much sure you know what they have as soon as they pick it, so it would seem that it would affect your offers.
Also, on the mathematics, is it a flat rate (basically, a little below the middle amount), or if it is weighted based on actual amounts? From a statistical standpoint it would seem better to base it on the amounts left. For instance, if $10, $100, $1,000, and $10,000 were left, a flat rate would say to make the offer a little below $550 (average of the middle two), say at $500. This would give the show the higher chance of saving money. However, a weighted offer would be a little less than $2,777.50, the average of the 4 amounts. This would present an exact balance of potential earnings vs potential losses (at $7222.50 either way), even though it presents a greater chance to lose then to gain. This would be a better method from teh show's standpoint, since the goal is to get the contestant to take the money. The weighted, though at face value seems more expensive, would result in more deals, and would statistcally result in an overall lower payout.
Do you think it would be smarter for the contestant to play the game with flat or weighted strategy? Flat would be more stable, but less profitable. Weighted would be more of a gamble. But isn't that what the game is about anyways? Thanks for your time.

I love this show....I have tried to become a contestant, to no avail. I have sent in a video tape that shows a complete stage that I made for DOND. I dressed up 26 of my daughter's Barbie dolls with dresses that I made, I shaved a Ken doll and made a goatee on him to look like Howie, I made all 26 cases by hand, the whole stage, everything. I still did not get picked. I would do ANYTHING to get on this show. Do you have any "pull" with the producers? Could you help? Thanks, Banker....I LOVE YOU

First of all, Aaron... that was Laura Karkau from Season One (Deal for $96,000; Case $400)
And second, I want to do the sound effects for the show, including the drum sounds when the offers reach $100,000!

I think people tend to forget your not forcing anyone to play the game. Its all about taking a risk. They take that risk by being on the show. People say you take away a million dollars from people. If it were their million dollars yea then you would be taking the million dollars from them. But its a CHANCE to win a million dollars. So I have to disagree with the haters. Do they write to the government when they play the lottery which is also a CHANCE to win? Banker keep doing what ya doing! Love the show!

Just had a talk with my Sr. Pastor here at the church that I work for. I told him that he works too hard and puts in too many hours!!!
He is planning a sabbatical next year, but since church giving has been down he doesn't think that it will happen. There simply won't be any money in the budget for it!!
If I won even 100,000 I would make sure that he could get the much needed rest.
But only you can make that a possibility by allowing Canadians to apply for the show.
Will you allow that?

Mr. Banker sir, I think you should know that Captainsandwich at the ABC Lost General Board has QUIT your show god, Howie Mandel, in act of frustration.
Evidence of this is posted here.
http://o.forums.go.com/abc/primetime/lost/thread?threadID=1344990
To get back in his good graces, Captainsandwich will take a good deal on a briefcase and a slot on your show.
Deal or no deal?

What was the LARGEST FIRST offer you ever made? Also, I never used to watch Deal or No Deal. I woudl flip to it during commercials. Somehow I am SOOO addicted to it! I literally stand behind my wall during the last rounds of the game b/c I get SOO nervous. Then, when I hear the sound of the case opening, I cover up my eyes and say "please please please"
Am I crazy or what? LOL =)

Hello Banker!! I have this question to ask you. We know that the models are not aware of how much money is in their case, but do you know what amounts are in which case? Or are the offers based solely on probability?
BTW, I love watching this show, an old friend of mine that I went to high school with holds your case #26, Lindsay! I used to play softball with her.

Oh... to be able to apply to the show. But as it stands, I can not. For I am a Canadian ciizen. We have better beer, we have many attractive ladys, we have free health care, but what we lack is the ability to be allowed to apply for "Deal or no Deal".
But you, yes you Banker can make that change. You could brindge that gap and allow the application ot come from north of the border.
You have had a Mexican who is living in the USA, and claims not to be American, you have had a lady from over seas who has lived in the UAS for 2 years. It can't be the cost of transportation that excludes Canadians from applying, as you flew over a contestants mother form another continent.
So what is it? Where is the problem? CBS and the Price is right allow Canadians, so why not NBC and Deal or no Deal?
If I won I would buy our church some comfortable chairs. We are using wooden pews right now. I would also buy us a projector to use on Sunday mornings.

BBBBBanker,
You have challanged us to ask intelligent questions, and I believe that I have. Yet you fail to respond. Why is that? For a quick witted individual, you don't even have a mocking response to my question. So I'll ask you again,
"Will you, or will you not allow Canadians to apply for the show? Not for special treatment above those that have applied, but simply the oppertunity to apply."

If I had money, I'd tell yah what I'd do. I'd go and buy, a nice car or two.
Working for a church doesn't pay a lot and therefore I had to give my my car when I got married and became a youth pastor. I live in a smaller town, so biking, rollerblading, and walking are all options. It does however get cold here in winter, like -24 (fahrenheit). It would be great to have a car esspecially for those days.
All I need to know is if Canadians can apply for the show?
What do ya say?

Here's what I was trying to post in it's entirety: I love this show and up until now have rooted for the contestants but this Mexican has pissed me off and I hope he wins the .01! If you live in America for 22 years then YOU ARE AN AMERICAN, you may have originally come from Mexico City but that's not where you came from today to play the game!!! You can't have it both ways buddy, you are Mexican or you are American and if you are so damn proud to be from Mexico City and forget where it is you have been living for the last 22 years then you can just freakin go back there!!!!! Don't offer him crap, banker, tell him to go home!

Dear Mr. Banker:
I suppose you like being a kind of Nemesis to the contestants. You have offered VERY tempting bribes in the past (NY Jets Dream package, a custom tractor, etc...)
If you discovered that it were someone's dream to own a leer jet, would that turn up in some offer you'd make them?
Just curious

Hey Banker,
Waiting for a reply about, "aboot" Canadians applying for the show.
Ya know "eh", it would be really great "eh" if you would let us Canucks aplly for the show, "eh".
So what do say "aboot" it, "eh"?
Yah know, if I ... uh ... had a million dollars, I would ... uh... be able to do a lot of freat stuff, "eh".
Actually, I had a million dollars I would fly some people from our church to Napal, where we are looking at teaming up with one of there local churches. But only you Mr. Banker, can make it work for me to be able to apply to the show!!

Mr. Banker,

Thank you.

Mr. Banker
How often do you read and respond to the emails?
Does the show pay for you to get there to be a contestant? How often are the shows taped?
Thanks

When the tapings for December 25 air, the words you should say on the phone are "Call me Scrooge because I am the miser on this show."
The 26 models will probably wear holiday Santa hats and Howie will describe the models as 26 of Santa's Little Helpers and letting the Santa contestants bring them out on stage.

What's the mathmathical formula from which you derive your banker offers? When I think I've got my finger on it, I get it wrong. Do you also tak into considerastion the player and likelihood of going for a lower offer, or is it strictly statistics-based. Thanks

Hello Mr. Banker: Will it ever be told who you are?
If one picks the case while watching the show (submitting their guess online) are they called prior to the name appearing on tv?
What does it take to be chosen to be a contestant and why the video?
Thank you!!

Hi "banker" how are you? I have this theory, that you are some un-named producer of the show. But honestly, from what I can tell, you're offers are really proportional to what numbers are left on the board. People need to just quit wondering what you are trying to "achieve" by this show and pay attention to the real point....all those gorgeous ladies. Oh, and by the way, why is there 28 models on the website, and why do some of the models move on the show? Is it a turnover rate, or what? Anyways, all I really have to say is don't get rid of #3, Lisa Gleave. Because if I was on stage, that number would be my case, and she would also be coming home with me....

Personally, I like the scenario of a shadowy man of mystery offering cash bribes to vulnerable players.
I like the "good cop, bad cop" interplay that you and Mr. Mandel create.
I must admit that I'm often embarrassed to see greed override apparent good sense, but I keep watching.
...which is the whole point of the show.
I could go into the whole numbers thing, the choice to use 26 cases and not some other number, how it's double that sinister number 13, but I won't.
Odds on, the show is the real winner.

'I need a break...
From these contestants with their constant whining. "That's not enough money, Mr. Banker. "You're so mean, Mr. Banker. Duh. Don't they get it? It's my job to get them off the show with as little money as possible. That's what I do. Seriously.
Don't even start with me about their little stories about their little lives. If I have to hear about another "deserving teacher, I'll hurl a bucket of bile right out the Bank window onto the stage.
These people should just be grateful for the opportunity. I've had to work long and hard for everything I've got. I don't have the patience any more for another pathetic bug crawling under my window mewling for money.
Enough.'
OMFG Banker you are a WIMP. If your tired of ppl annoying you, take it like a man and ignore an do your job. No one cares if you feel pissed. No one cares if you're getting angry at our questions. We only care about this: Do your damn job and answer SOME questions, not only the stupid ones smart-ass.
You seriously gotta get over yourself. you're not that great. ok fine, so your a math nerd. but you suck in all other aspects, and i know all players are really greedy, but grading them on thier attitude and personality makes YOU look weak. Just do the math and tell them the amount. and oh yea, my whole hometown county and my college campus all HATE you. And saying you dont grade them on thier personality and appearance is a LIE! just read through your other blogs. And, if you think your job is sooo bad, why dont you just use your math shit to climb up the Finacial ladder and become some AUTHENTIC big-shot banker??? hm? and no, your not mean, because we can NEVER HEAR WHAT YOUR SAYING OR WHAT YOUR FACE LOOKS LIKE! you just offer crappy amounts for your own pleasure, gain, and entertainment taking advantage of those lucky players who actually get a chance to get some money.

BANKER,
Many people on this blog are trying to get you to pick them for the show, all they need to do is apply.
Me however, all I want to do is be able to apply. (I've made my case a number of times about Canadians applying.)
I am a youth pastor, so another thing I would do with a million is take my youth group on a mission trip to Mexico, where my wife and I have been a number of times and have a connection.
It's been 2 years since we have gone last, and it is always a life changing experience. You go to help and bless other people, but you come home as if you were the on who recieved something from the people you went to serve.
I wan to be able to apply!!

My hat is off to those that take the time to fill out the application and then go to the auditions. I am not interesting enough to make the show and also don't have the patience to fill the stuff out, so i respect all those that even try to make it. I hope some day somebody does get "lucky" and get the million.
Good Luck to all that apply and tha banker is doing an awesome job of not giving a bunch of money away except duringt the specials.
That country gal sounded exactly like my wife when she said "Oh Lord" that seems to be a southern saying. Glad she go some good money.

Nobody will ever win the million because when it gets down to the final 3 or 4 and it is still there, you will offer more than they should refuse, and i don't blame them.
choice of 1 mil or 1 dollar, i would take the offer of 600,000 or whatever it was. So far there have been some greedy peole on, so you have done your job as banker.

Ok according to the many blogs I have seen since you guys started the show the banker name is peter. Now Peter here is part of my thoughts on this show. You have somewhat of a good show there chap, although I was wanting to know
1.Is there a formula to the placing amounts of the suitcase Like #1=.01 and so on
2.what is your madness forumla for all the offers you make on the show.
Please write me back and televise these answer on your show.
I do keep track of my email, so I may post everyday until I get my answers, thanks.
Again good job on ratings
And this time I would like to see the million dollars bashed and replace the million and replace it with a b and turn it into a billion dollars.
Thanks

Mr Banker
Your odds were wrong and you mislead the audience on 10/19. There were 6 cases left and you said the odds are 1 in 6 the million dollars was in the contestant's case (the zookeeper). In fact, the odds are only 1/26 chance that it was in his case since he picked it when the odds were 1/26 at the beginning. The odds are 25/26 that it is in one of the remaining 5 unopened cases. Please correct this in the next show!

peter (the banker) determines the offer by the average, and the psychology of the person..he did have to go through some tough clases. he has stated this several times.

I love the way you sometimes throw in "goodies" along with the cash.
I gotta ask.. do you really say the things that Howie says you do? I know the money comments are yours, but the others... are they?

What would we do with a mill? I have 9 yr. old twins, a 7 yr. old, and a 6 yr. old...I would buy a house in the same city my stepchildren live in so they could be close to their daddy and we could finally bond the children they way they should. Right now we live 1300 miles away and it feels like 2 seperate families..Children need family more than anything...to me that is the most important thing I could do with any of that money.

Hey Banker,
I haven't got a response yet about Canadians being able to apply for the show.
I know you like competitive people so just to let you know, I was playing 1 vs 100 on line and played until I won, only took an hour.
By the way there is a problem with the 1 vs 100 on line game. If you scroll up to see how many of the mob is left, and then scroll back down to click on the answer you want it registars that you have clicked on a different answer.
So tell me how to apply.

Still caling you out Banker to answer my question regarding Canadians applying for the show.
Another thing that I would do with a million dollars is take my wife to Africa. She had been there once before to do mission work. My desire is that one day I would haev the possibility to go back with her, specifically to Congo - wher she went last time.
Congo is a war torn area, and has been for years. Being ablt to go there and sharing some resources would be very benificial.
But I need to be able to apply for the show for that to be a possibility.

Hey Banker,
Still waiting for a reply about Canadians trying for the show!!
Know what I'd do with a "coll mill"?
One thing I would do is pay for my older sister to finish school. Her husband was spending the mortgage and hiding the letters from the bank. She tried to save the relationship, but he up and left her.
She in now working full time while going to school so that she can make a life for herself. (She has always been generous to her younger siblings.) I would love to pay her back in that way.
So will you let me apply for the show??

You got a host who is from Canada, why not a contestant?
I am not asking that you show favoratism to me, but that you let me apply in the same matter as those from the USA.
(You obvoisly pick your contestants on personality, and I will show determination in this pursuit.)

Dear Mr.Banker, My buddy Teddy Kowalski says he knows a guy who has a cousin that works for NBC and he says that when a contestant screws up and starts to curse or say things like "Oh heck!" or "Feh!!!" the director has to stop the tape and Howie tells them to say "It's OK Howie,It's OK!!" Is this true? Sometimes Ithink Teddy Kowslski is ful of baloney.

Mr. Banker, I think you do a great job. I love seeing desperate contestants making heart-wrenching decisions.
QUESTIONS: What do you do the other 23 hours of the day that the show is not filming?
Why do you not say witty comments after the contestants go to far with "No Deal" (e.g. $750 winnings instead of $200k)? Or is this all Mr. Mandel's doing?

I think the show is increasing in popularity! You forgot that early on in this season you lost $750,000! Gee, that must mean you ran into some rotten luck Mr. Banker instead of the contestant! You are as unpredictable as the model with briefcase #13!

You and Howie make this show GREAT!!! Ya'll are funny and very entertaining. Thanks for bringing a great show like this to family viewers.
PS. A show like this would have brought Monday Night Football to it's knees...

Mr Banker -
After reading more of the posted comments, I came up with one more question.
Do the contestants on the show - or the people posting comments on here who can't spell, don't know what capitals are, etc - bother you more?
It's funny to me that the lack of coherent comments does not stop people from wanting to be your replacement, the next contestant or criticize you on your performance.
I can't help but wonder how those who criticize would do a better job - when it's obvious the application for employment would stump them.
Take care,
The Queen

Hi Mr Banker -
I only have one question for you...
Don't the people who sit on the computer, asking ridiculously stupid questions - or begging like morons to be on the show (instead of actually READING the site for instructions) - get on your nerves?
I'm not the banker and I want to shoot them.

A few questions and observations, Mr. Banker:
1. What is the procedure that is followed before the game to ensure that the placement of the numbers in the suitcases is random?
2. Who knows the placement of the numbers? The banker? Howie? The ladies? What precautions do you take to ensure secrecy?
3. What is the mathematical formula to calculate the offers? Is it based on probability theory to compute the expected value?
4. It seems you could just add up all the dollar amounts that are still on the board and divide the total dollars by the number of unopened suitcases to compute the expected value in the suitcase. I notice your offers are often below the expected value which would not be a good offer. What exactly is the deviation of your offer from the expected value based on?
I also noticed that you can compute the offers very quickly once the contestant says "deal" and they ask what numbers they would have picked if they continued playing. It seems this business of "phoning in" the offers is more for dramatic effect. It slows down the show which reduces the number of rounds that can be played in any given episode.

Mr. Banker,
I think the show is great! My question for you is... After the contestant decides to take the deal, Howie asks them "If you didn't take the deal, what case would you have opened next?" Then they pick a case, and if it wasn't a large amount, Howie tells them the amount you would have offered. It seems to me that these amounts show up very quickly because during the show you take your time when giving an offer. Are these offers pre-determined?

The show is great. Howie is sexy. However " The Banker is a loser" Why not sell your self {and I mean stop hiding behind the glass and all the bright lights} as the lower prize or higher amount at least you'll know the contestants would take the NO DEAL.

I watch Deal Or No Deal sometimes banker just to see how greedy some contestants get...more or less they get vulnerable. I watched one evening with my family when one mexican woman lost her last big ammount of money on the board. I laughed. I bet you just loved to offer her the 500. Could you tell she was trying to go all of the way to the million? I mean c'mon, of course, everyone is when they get on the show. I think your a funny character actually. But if i ever get on the show the deal ill actually take is 350,000 dollars, only if im doing well. So do you know if that one woman on the show is getting the million? She looks like she has got the board in her favor (unfortuanately for you). Are you eager to see me on the show?? Ill take the deal mr.banker only if the price is right!!
have a nice night

Hey Banker,
I gotta say that I kinda admire the fact you're able to just sit there and hear the other contestants giving you crap. One of the episodes a few weeks back, had a contestant: Matty if I remember his name right. Seemed awfully cocky to me. I mean, sheesh, 'Matty Day'. I was rolling on the commentary you made about hating it.
Anyway, I also have to say that, personally, I think it's better NOT to see you as more than a shadow... at least not until the last episode of the season. It'd take away from the mystery, and the... heh heh, anger... that the contestants rant on about.
Watching faithfully,
Matt

I'm about to watch my last show; your offers are absurd; there doesn't seem to be any relationship to mathematical probablility and your offers. Particulary your alledged offers, i.e. had you stayed in the game and picked this case your offer would have been .... Why are those offers way OVER parity (i.e. more than the probably outcome) yet the real offers are much less?!?!?

All in all i do get a kick out of you and the player, but some of the players are just out of there mind. I love the show and I try to watch it everytime it is on. Tonight the show has a woman on from a town called Swansea, SC which is only 45 minutes away and you are being rude to her. The show is a great show!!! Beth, Barnwell, SC

Good day Mr. Banker,
I wanted to comment about what you said concerning not letting emotions get in the way. One of the last episodes showed you offering just $1 higher than your prior bid. It was the episode where the player wore a model's dress coming out. I thought it was hilarious. I understand that's it's not emotions; I'm just giving you crap.
Anyways, I do have a question. I understand that your job is to be objective to all players, but have you ever had any situations where you just feel a tad bit of remorse or condolence for their reason to play? I remember there being several players with loved ones that they would like to see but couldn't.
Just my thoughts.

Banker,
Heres some advise. If you
want them to sell their case
to you, you have to ofer
higher prices!!!! If an
ofer you gave me was
2,000,000, and the grand
prize is 6,000,000, I
would take the money.
Would,nt you?

Dear Banker,
I absolutely love the offers that are given out and the mystery that you give while appearing in the shadows, yet delegating huge amounts of money. YOU ROCK!

Hey I was thinking. The models are very beautiful but why not have a special night with WWE Divas. Goto WWEDivas.com to see them. I think that would bring many viewers to Deal or no Deal. A WWE Diva Night :P
What do you think?

I would have directed this question to someone else, however, there were no places to email the producers. I have two questions, how are the contestants chosen for your show and how come they don't have sexy male models for the women who play on your show?

The fact is, most of us that work don't see in a year what some of these contestants are offered in an hour-long show. It boggles my mind, the greed level of the people on the show. Although I get excited for the one's that get lucky enough to make some money...I have to say to the others that lose it all "don't look a gift horse in the mouth". Most of us will never even get the opportunity to open the cases. Be glad for what you may get blessed with. But don't forget to pay your taxes, either!

It is I again, King Calamari, here to enlighten the ignorant masses. The "banker" (who is actually the shows producers) uses software to calculate the expected amount in the players case. The bankers offers are almost always under this expected amount to some extent. The degree to which the offers are under the expected amount depends on how risk adverse the contestant is. The contestants personality IS in fact taken into account when deciding what the offer will be.
Have fun KIDDIES, I shall return!

I loved it when you raised the offer by $1. That was cool. When will the show be coming to Minnesota?

So, if a contestant leaves with a small sum of money, do you celebrate that as a personal victory? (And if so, how do you celebrate?)

I love the show and hear that you say you are not baised. If that be the case, how come loyal Canadian viewers, like myself, do not have the opportunity to come and take your $$. Are we too smart? Are you afraid of us igloo living, dogsled ridding, "eh" saying Canuks?

We all know you aren't up there actually deciding what to offer. Its just your computer telling you what to say. Any loser could do your job!

Personally Mr. Banker,
I wouldn't have offered that teacher a dollar after she sang no deal to you. "I said no deal, no deal!" How annoying must that have been for you!
