Deal or No Deal2-Hour Season Premiere Monday, Sept. 18 8/7c
CURRENT ENTRY
September 14, 2006
I'm Baaaaack!

Hello again,

It seems that my work is not yet done. An entire new season of you lovely folks trying to take my money. I'm fairly confident i'm going to bury even more "opponents" than I did last year.

Also, you may want to check back with me here after the premiere on Monday, September 18. I'm doing a live blog following the show. My therapist feels it will be good for me to interact more with others. She's calling it immersion therapy. I'm calling it immersion into idiocy.

Mr. Banker, you are great. I love the way you handle your business, and the truth that you say. However, soon enough, I will see you face to face, because I need to win that 1,000,000 dollar prize. =)

Hi,

I think this show is a sad example on how involved America is on reality tv.

(You reamber that radio cormmercial? 2007 People lose intrest in reality tv!)

Posted by:Matthew | September 18, 2006, 08:50 PM

I thought this was the place to interact with the banker..... not the audition site. Isn't there a link for these desperate people to get their tapes in? I, for one, just want to know about the banker and his strategies for his counter-offers. Please point the way to these poor, lost souls who think that the banker has any say as to who comes on the show. Give the rest of us this space to figure out the banker's game plan, etc.

Posted by:Deal or No Deal Mom | September 18, 2006, 07:53 PM

The show is sooooooo addicting! I make sure I record it as my husband works Monday and Tuesday nights. When the show is on Friday nights (laundry night) we have everyone at the laundromat watching it as well! :)

Hi banker!!!
I am from the beautiful caribbean island of St Vincent & the Grenadines. Presently, I am pursuing a major in Tourism Management because in the Caribbean Tourism is important to our economy. My country is very small but it is made up of other smaller islands which we refer to as the Grenadines. Anyway a lot of us look at your show deal or no deal. I think that deal or no deal is a brilliant idea. I wish to one of these days to participate in the show and make you sweat banker, when I take home all of the money. If you plan to do something different in the show with somebody from the beautiful island of St Vincent and the Grenadines, please pick me. When, I take home the money it would go a long way to helping me financially in my studies.

I watched last seasons games, I love it because it gives the common people a chance to win big. I play by text, I hope I will be able to win some time soon. May God bless you for allow others to feel good by winning something that some of us would like to have.

I want to know how I can get on that show??????

Posted by:Eileen | September 18, 2006, 06:25 PM

Mr. Banker or whomever,
Would like to know if I can get an answer to my previous question about text message or playing the game by computer???????

Posted by:Linque Drozdovandropopozgiopanatzakis | September 18, 2006, 06:07 PM

I love this show so much that whenever I watch it, I feel like I am the one playing it. It was so funny when one of the contestants was a clown and the banker felt so embarrass of him that he had to wear a clown nose to respect him.

Posted by:Christina Viol | September 18, 2006, 05:52 PM

Mr. Banker/Howie/Producers,
From the home players that win, are there any who win that use the computer to play? I see all these at home winners and wonder if any who use the computer to play actually win or is just the text messages that are considered?
Thank you

I was 1 of the many thousands that auditioned for the show when they held them here in Las Vegas. I heop to someday get on the show! I am a huge fan! Howie! The Models! The banker! It's such a great show. It can change the lives of people in less than 1 hour! If I won enough to pay off my condo, you had bet your ass, that I would let out a yell so loud, it would have made Sam Kinison seem quiet!

I winter in Florida where several other people in the park get together to watch, well some of them watch the show, then there are some of us who have the pleasure of submitting our choices for the case! We all agreed you should not let Howie ever where green, it is not his best color. I hope one day to be a contestant, my dream come true, so, I best get filling in the info, right?

like deal or no deal. The banker must be a fun job. Then again the studio could be attacked and no chance of survival is always a possability. Good luck with surviving another season. by the way how is it being the banker. Although siting alone in a dark room can lead to phycological disorders. I mean just look at my cousin bob he can't function and can only digest food from a blender. Good chance you'll be that way too.

Posted by:DEBBIE DOWNER | September 17, 2006, 12:37 AM

Hello 'Banker', first off the show is great. You have a job to do, and I have no problem with that, in fact you add to the 'greatness' of the show. The only real coment that I want to make is how can one of us, my wife Brenda or I (Carl) get on the show. Take care, and don't let the 'turkeys' get you down.Carl. Henderson, Nevada.

Hey...what's up big guy? I am so excited for the 18th and the show to begin. Ha I would be even more excited if I would receive a phone call to be a contestant. My son's friend knows how badly I want to be on the show and he knew that I had sent in the tape so he called here one day and pretended to be someone from the show and I got all excited only to find out that it was a JOKE! (darn teenagers) Do you ever sit in your room up there and think what a "moran" some of these people are? Well, my friend I hope that someday soon I will be able to go up against you and take some of your money...the bills keep piling up and the kids are HUNGRY!!! Hi to Howie for me. Until then, Tammi

Do you know any of the models personally?

I love the show , howei and the models.

I hail from the City of Pittsburgh, PA -- Home of the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers and have submitted my tape -- and my "Steeler Maniacs" are getting really fired up to be on the show. Personally, I know I can and will take a lot of your money, Mr. Banker. You don't have a chance matching wits with me. And everyone I know is praying I get the chance to break the bank! Howie and the producers know how badly I/we want to be on the show. There is so much good I hope to do with that money and I really need that long overdue vacation to Hawaii to relax after the Super Bowl and during the Pro Bowl. Come on Mr. Banker, "you want a piece of me, bring it on!"

Posted by:Linda Yazvac | September 15, 2006, 08:05 PM

The show is great. I hope to see the players win big and receive 7 digit bank offers. As for me, if I were on Deal Or No Deal, I'd think of the odds, the result of knocking out a low or high amount, and how good it would be to take the deal. Most likely, I'd end up taking one of your deals. In fact, I know some elderly people who'd take your first bank offer.

Posted by:annonymous | September 15, 2006, 06:15 PM

I can say... I love the models... and yes I have a favorite! #17 Jenelle! She is the cutest... Where can we see more of her? Do they tour?

Hey banker, I got a couple of friends that has got your number! They can read your "offers" likes books in a bookstore. You may want to show a little charity for the first week, there will still be plenty of contestants during the season to sandbag! BTW send my reguards to the ladies, cause you don't have a chance in hell of dating any of them!

Dear Mr. banker, prior to the start of American Idol, I spoke online with Simon (rude-dog) Cowell. I asked him why American Idol try-outs weren't offered in our area, he stated,"you are boring me" and I called him a rude dog. When the show started everything seemed to revolve around those words.Seems everyone is requesting your assistance with getting on the show, why not check this info out and consider me for the show and I just might find a correct title for you. I would have a great support team and request your support at this time. I did submit a tape at open casting calls in my area, but had approximately five minutes to fill out my paperwork and did not include this info on it. Again, I can promise you an interesting support team, thanks! Kelli

We have gone through the worst year we have had in the 27 years we have been together. So I will send in the form and hope we get to meet because I know how to play the game well.

I absolutely love the show!! It's a dream of mine to become a contestant on Deal or No Deal. I sent in my videotape last month since I don't live anywhere near casting calls.

I do have a question: I put alot of work into my videotape and my entire package. Do you have any idea on the time frame that it takes for someone to contact me? Will someone contact me if they don't select me? I appreciate any help you can give.

well I and my hubby love the show. as for you banker you do good but you might try pulling a joke now and then. like when there up to a big deal offer them a dollar first then go up.also I would like to get my hubby on the show. but I would have to fool him on doing it. could you tell me what I need to do in order to get him on the game show please

I think the banker is SEXY!!

Posted by:Scott Ozier | September 14, 2006, 10:09 PM

I think the show is extremely suspenseful. Howie's cute but needs a bit more dialog. As a woman, I think it would be VERY nice to see male models holding suitcases every once in a while.

Although I am not usually big fan of these types of shows I watched Deal or No Deal a couple of times last year and am glad to see you are back. I really would like to be a contestant on the show. I am a 46 year old Mom and just became a grandma 09/02/06. I hope to be blessed enough to be a contestant someday. Keep up the good job. Merri Lee
