I think that the show should have like a raffle of some sort and pick someone from the home audience to be on the show. I doubt that you even say anything when your talking to howey. Its pretty cheesy, I only tune in to see how these idiots ruin their chances of getting money by saying no deal until there very end. I just started watching your show this week and I LOVE it!!! I told my husband that I want to be on your show. He knows how excited I get watching the contestants pick the suitcases. I jumped online the other night to pick a suitcase, but I was too late doing it. I did pick the number 3 suitcase which was right, but I was too late in sending it after I read the rules of how to play. My 50th birthday is on June 21, 2006. I don't think I could ever be that contastant that has to come back for the following show. I am too superstitious, and think that someone would switch my case. I freak out every time that happens to someone. Where does that persons case go when the show ends and how do we know if it doesn't get switched??? Hello Banker! My family and I LOVE the show! My 7 yr old son had the chance to play Deal or NO Deal with his 1st grade teacher. He is afraid of the dentist and she was trying to make a deal with him, however he said NO DEAL to everything.When Howie makes a commit saying “the banker said did you really say that or is he making it up?"

People. The producers of the show hide the banker and only show his shadow because that is part of the show. It's not as if the banker is willingly hiding there or has the choice to come out. This is how the producers want the show run. Kind of adds a mystery factor to it. Also, the bankers offers are based off off how many cases are left, which amounts are left, and which amounts are gone. It is mathmeatical. So you people that say "offer this person more", or "his offer was low". It's not as if the banker is saying "let me make a low offer". It's just that is the mathematics. The banker is only there for effect. Realistically, a computer can automatically calculate offers. How do you think the offers are calculated so quickly when someone makes a deal, but has 4 cases left,a dn Howie says "well, what cases wopuld you have picked if you went on?", and magically they show what the offers would have been 2 seconds later. I am ADDICTED to the show! When I am not able to watch, I program my VCR to tape the show so that I can watch it later. It amazes me the greed of some people. When you have a family like I do, most people want to do the best they can for them. If I were on the show, I would have taken $44,000 without the pony. Even an amount like $44,000, which in your mind probably seems small, could change someone's life dramatically. Keep it real, banker...and tell Howie and the models that I said hello!

First of all, I just love the show and Howie Mandell. But what you did to Hans on Wednesday night (4-5-06) was so cruel. I am a horse lover and you could have had $100. and a pony and he would have taken the deal. His daughter is priceless. You should have let him win some more money. The deal with the pony was hitting below the belt..What parent would disappoint their child by not taking the pony when the child is right there! That was mean !!!

So far so good! I love watching the show! At first, I wondered how good of a host Howie would be (after all, I think of the baby voice and blowing up surgical gloves when I hear his name!), but he has been great!

I also really like the recent additions of the actual goodies to the bank cash offers! (Hey, I would've done a deal with the lower dollar amount and that Hummer, if we could get a different color one!) And the pony was interesting too!

Just wondering how far ahead people have to tell you what they hope to get, in order for the show to have some of these things available for tempting the contestants.

Execs at CBS are likely trying to counter this show with their own game show.

They really should bring back SEVEN KEYS which is a great show to "hook" an audience.

I think the game is rigged and some people just get lucky. The banker must know the amounts in each case. Can the case amounts be changed via a remote system? How is selection of case/amount done each time? After playing the game 104 times online I think ive found a pattern. Heres a tip; never think you have the million. The trick is avoid picking it! Then you get the big $ even if you have 5 bucks!

All -- Please...the bankers job is no more than an expected value calculation based on a formula for a percentage by round. As the game starts the expected value states that the banker should pay $131,478 EVEN IF NOT A SINGLE CASE IS OPEN ($3,418,416.01 / 26 cases)! Remember that. After the first round is over, a new expected value is calculated depending on the remaining value. The banker then takes a percentage of that for round 1 (generally 13%) and provides that as the offer. Play continues, with the banker providing higher percentages by round (25%, 50%, 75%, 90% ,etc) MULTIPLIED by the expected value. As the number of more "right hand" numbers remain versus "left hand" numbers, another multiplier occurs (call it the utility function for invididuals who are afraid of the math). In theory, picking 1,2,3,4,5,6,etc., is just as likely as picking 26,25,24,23,22, etc, as 4,16,22,1,2, etc. A simple spreadheet can make all the decisions for you (just like the banker!) This show is great for two reasons. First, love Howie. Second it is a great way to teach your kids about MATH (you all remember THAT concept). Don't blame the banker, don't blame Howie, blame the contestants who can;t seem to do any math

I am used to shows such as the old hit, Let's Make a Deal, Prices Rights, etc. This is a funny show that puts props where props are due. Howie M. is a funny person that I have watched for so long, and through his sitcoms and every other medium that he produces on, I enjoy every product/show that he is part of. I hope that the show stays true to itself and finds worthy people that make the show worth while to watch. Keep up the hard work and throw props to the Banker/Producer, It has to be calculated between advertising revenue, viewership, and odds. Fun is involved and part of the entire aire the show produces. everyone knows that this show is all set up! Howie Mandel never really talks to the banker, and it takes soooooooooooo long for one contestant! How is it possible that it takes an hour for one contestant to PICK NUMBERS! This show is just so fake!

I think that for the first person to win 500,000 dollars or $1,000,000 that you should show yourself.
and i also think that the way you work is you use a computer and total up your odds to find out how much
to buy the case for.

I think sometimes you are pretty good at your offers but sometimes i think you like to rip
people off just b/c you don't like them or something. And when someone knocks off a high number like
400,000 and they still have $500,000, $750,000, $25, and $20,000 you lower the price and i don't get
it b/c i think if they have that many high prices they should still get offered a lot but i would
understand it if they only had one high number left and 2 or three low numbers. thanks bye

I love the show for its originality and its not full of stupid trivia. Obviously you need luck and I'd use strategy not greed. If I have one huge amount left I'm dealing. I don't think anyone will win the million because you'd have to turn away $500,000 or more and that's nuts.

Hello Mr. Banker, would love to see some additional excitement by offering the contestants a nice BIG amount to sell their briefcase before game really begins. Would add some extra tension to the program. It would be surprising to find out if people will bite!! Would love to meet you and of course HOWIE. Maybe sometime real soon. I love this game, and I think the banker is fair. But I would do it different. I would take them out of the game totally after the third strike as in if they get a high amount when they are supposed to get a low amount(knocked down 3 times) they;re out so more people are given a chance to win money.

I think that Sheetal has a gambling problem. Because she never went to school, but yet she is 200,000 in debt. She had one of her supporters that was a "gambling friend." That 375,000 will go to support her habit. You can get college loans unless you are enrolled in school and taking classes. Trust me I know because I am in college too.

Finally a game show with a totally new concept. Im addicted to Deal or No Deal. The banker should show himself one of these days so we know what he looks like although the secrecy must enhance the game. One problem way way too many commercials and long ones at that. Thank the heavens to be able to use the remote to change channels.

Show is starting to get BORING. Too much time spent explaining the rules to contestant after each case is opened, ignoring yhe banker when the phone rings, and taking forever to reveal the current offer, and endless commercials. When DOND first started it was fast moving and exciting. Now with 1 contestant on almost 2 hours, it is really boring. I can find better things to do with my time in the future

The show is great - so far, until last night. Don't destroy the show by dragging the audience through a grueling 1 contestant show! It was obvious you were using us to watch more commercials - that contestant was not that exciting. Having 2 contestants per show makes the show worth watching for an hour. I would love to know which brainiac came up with the idea do drag that one out - go ahead brainiac , destroy the show! Idiot!

I love the show....My two sons and I watch it together. They would love it if I was on the show...Even though they are only 8 and 9 years old, I think they understand the concept that sometimes in life "somethings are too good to be true".

The show is a joke.It is staged from the beginning.The person that is picked is always sitting on the end so they know they are going to be called.Then they have that person say someone couldnt make it and then act shocked when they suddenly appear at the biggest momements.The biggest joke is the banker!He is supposedly talking to Howie about an amount when in reality the amounts are predetermined as you see when he tells what the offers would have been after the game is over.With all the acting and dramitics by the contestants I wouldnt be suprised if the whole show is fixed.Just another reality show!

I think the show is great, including the banker it would'nt be a show without him. Keep up the good work. I also like the home participation.

Last night's 2-hr show was boring, contrived, and formulaic. By dragging Sheetal's appearance out over 2 days & more than 2 hrs, you literally sucked the suspense out of the show. Instead of "Deal or No Deal," I wanted to shout "Leave, Leave!" If the 1 case/fake family chatter/1 commerical format continues, our household will be watching commericals on another station!

You are very dark and mysterious Mr. Banker, but I can usually guess what your next dollar amount would be, so can I take your place if your sick, and take care of my or I meant your money (Ha!). I LOVE THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My though is this...I think you are there playing the part of a banker, that the sums of money are already known that you have price points already set like any good business would have. The odds are with the game one chance out of 26 to win a cool mil...I think that peoples greed do them in ...lol...watching its not what you do or don't do its how greedy are they. I think Howie Mandel has a great amount of charisma- He's sexy and seems genuine-
I like watching the show- because of the intensity as well as because I like
seeing sweet ole' Howie.. I was very surprised to look up his age- and find out that
he's in his early 50's!!! I usually wouldn't think about wanting nor be interested
in a 50-yr old- but Howie Looks great!!.. too bad he's married... I'd want to be on
the show- to try to win money that so many ppl try to- but also it'd be great to simply
meet Howie..would I want the $1,000,000 or to be w/ beloved Howie?.. hmmm..j/k...

As for the Banker- I used to wonder if there really is a person there and if Howie
is faking talking on the phone- but I think there is someone up there calculating perhaps
though Im sure it can all be computerized like playing in on the comp-
I dont understand why ppl think the banker is unfair- if the contestant picks a bad
case naturally its some kind of average that the banker calculates..
I dont think it's the banker that makes up the popularity of the show- but HOWIE does.
Howie brings professionalism and compassion to the show and its contestants and audiences
I would simply love to meet Howie one day.. Though I dont really know him at all
Its just a vibe I get when I see him on the show.. think his wife/kids are lucky to have

and compared to the other shows- U can make a hell of a lot more on this one-
and not by even being smart and knowledgeable- but luck, risk, and knowing when to get
out. Family Feud- U get $20,000 up to 5x or so.. Jeopardy- U need to be very
knowledgeable..

But I do think sometimes all the money on Games show should be given to a good cause
instead of ppl's greed. I think ppl show play for charities sometimes- but
ofcourse the appeal is to get money for urself and ur fam- who doesnt want it..?cmon.

This is one of the best shows on TV. Howie is the best I have seen at getting the all the people involved.
The Bankers not being seen is supurb idea, after all in real life it is the mysteries that keep us hook on many things. I would trully love to be on this show as for the past ten years I have lived on less than $10,000 a year. At present only $623.00 a month SS & SSI combined. I really NEED the money. My neighbor and I call back and forth on commercials as I got her started watching it and we are both hoocked. Thanks
I tried calling on my cell for the home game but can't afford the extra expense so now I try on line. Even that would be more than I live on in a year. I may try and make a tape but don't know yet if we all have to pay our way there or what, so must read all the rules. GREAT GREAT SHOW

Great show..... BUT tonight's was just ridiculous!! It dragged on way too long with Sheetal. We're not interested in listening to so much talking, just want to see the action! If it wasn't for having it TiVo'd, we probably would have turned it off.

I think at times it would throw everyone off if you would say something once in a while, just to blow everyone's mind. Maybe announce the offer, but the phones calls need to keep happening also.

I think victim/constestants make a mistake by telling you their goal. Perhaps they have no choice, maybe it's on an application of some kind. So.... why don't they lie? If you go on the show to win 200,000 for student loans - why not say 400,000. The offers seem to be some sort of adjusted algorythym revolving around the goal. Or..... maybe it's all personal and if you dislike someone more than others, they get lower bids. Any
