Yellow Roses

Mary Beth: That's always been a symbol...kind of "our flower" ...

Stephen: It was a huge deal...a symbol of our relationship. It was a big deal in the 80's, so if we have a love story again maybe the yellow rose will come back.

Mary Beth: Back in the day, people would make t-shirts with a dagger, a rose and a patch with the word "sweetness" on it.

Stephen: It's been very guy-driven lately...we need the romance back.

Not only do we need the romance back, we also need the small, intimate moments that are real life and romantic at the same time.
There's too much darkness and violence.

And for pete's sake, Kayla needs some yellow roses!

It scares me that Stephen said, "If we get a romantic storyline"
What is that IF? It's daytime drama and they are the most romantic supercouple of all daytime. Please bring back the romance. We're begging!!!!

I think that the romance is what is SO important in this soap. Days used to be one of the most romantic soaps out there...now...a bedroom scene a year? No lead up to the bedroom scene...and no everyday interactions (cooking doing dishes etc...some of favorite scenes included those elements) bring that back!!!!

I agree with you Stephen...Days is very guy centric right now...romance need to be back.

I think Hogan ticked off a lot of people by denying them the romantic elements. This is daytime drama, it needs romance.

I think in a soap it should be a continuing romance, eliminating that element is very wrong. Days never used to do that.

Story and character is soooo important but without romance I believe it lacks depth and giving the viewers a vested interest in the characters.

That is what I miss most is you guys not having romance together.

Overall I think all characters need the romance back into the storylines.
