Heya Billy! Yeah, it was kinda obvious where you work, what you do, etc. I mean, let's face it, with all of the technology today even the most undercover ops are 'known'. But anyway enuff of that. Season 1 was a blast from beginning to end. My friends and I will be anxiously watching for Season 2 (and of course 3, 4 and so on), of KR. The show won me over from the beginning, and just kept getting better and better. Keep up the fantastic work! That goes for all of the cast and crew infront of and behind the cameras. ;)

I hope i will see the black Mustang at Wensday night on NBC at this fall. The new Knight Rider series newer got a fair chance to prove. You can see when Obama was made a speech, and one episode from the KR missed, the mans started to don't watch. And then the "break" comed, sill getting lowed. The reboot was do what needed to do.

Please change the car model in the next season... :( If it has to be a FORD, why they dont invent something cool and use this KR series as a promo? I really enjoy this season, but will be better in the second one if a more cool car is used. The MUSTANG is trully boring right now... When we see the original KITT and compare the cars of that years, you can see that that car looks really cool in that time. But This KITT is too common...

Why mess with the Mustang? Personally I think this looks better than the original. Personally I don't even own a car(for personal reasons-gas prices-insurance and maintenance costs, etc), but if I did it would be a Mustang!

Anyone that saw my entry to NBC needs to petition with me(other than the other petition already set up) to pressure that network to put Knight Rider into at least one more season. This show may not have had the ratings to push it...but WE THE FANS can rally and push it. NBC is a semi-lousy network to begin with, but if they drop KR it'll really make them look bad! I don't even think the top brass at the network read what we write here.

....Wasn't this show cancelled like, mid-production? What's making people think there's going to be a second season? Not that I wouldn't LOVE that.... but still.... What happened to the show? I heard it was cancelled! Why dont they take off Biggest Loser or some other lame show and leave our Knight Rider ALONE? I would LOVE to speak with one of the network execs face to face, and REALLY give them a Turbo Boost out the door with my shoe still attached to their butt!

I don't know why NBC would keep lame shows like "biggest looser" and get rid of a great show. If they drop it loyal fans need to petition Scifi channel to pick it up. Hell even steal the concept using a team of cars and drivers using the new Dodge Challenger, and the new Chevy Camaro. It's a french immersion school. Both my brother and I are fluent in French, plus the school's making us learn Chinese (wich is a drag 'cause our teacher's annoying and crazy). We have a preschool and K-4th grades and there will be a 7th next year, but there are still only 60-70 kdis total. It's all good though.

Hi Anna-SSC stands for Satelite Surveillance Chamber-I don't know about lonely, I'd say more cozy-I mean the chemistry between Mike and Sarah is great and I'm sure that sooner the same will happen with Zoe and Billy! I forget you are of the younger crowd in here so, you'll understand what I mean about "chemistry" soon enough! Also you'll have to talk to Elsie about the IP address ban. I'm on cable internet. Ahhh, remember the days when people actually got the chance to get to know a show? Remember the days when a show didnt have to get get ridiculous ratings in it's first season? Remember the days when you had the chance to watch a show every week and you knew it was going to be on the week after? Remember when NBC was run by people that weren't so impatient?
Maybe that's why regular good ratings are only given to those networks that air regular shows. NBC, finally, get a clue - bring on season 2. No more debate, give some consistency and loyalty, and you'll receive the same.

NBC Boycott? sounds great. This should send a clear message to NBC that they'll only get the ratings they want if they actually keep a show on.
No one is willing to commit to a network that is known for axing it's shows prematurely. Why should they getattached to something they know will not be around next week. C'mon NBC, the coffee is on, time to take a big wiff of what's brewing.

I'm from Australia and have good contacts with our Tv network community who constantly get complaints from viewers as to why our local networks won't/dont commit to great shows like Knight Rider etc. Their answer is always the same. "We can't commit to these shows as networks like NBC cannot be relied upon to show a show consistently enough or beyond it's first season as their expectations are unrealistic"

Lest the powers that be actually read this and take it on board. It only requires the ability to be humble enough to listen.

Hi Alex-yeah NBC's already on a short leach. There's this new show that NBC came out with called "South;amd"about LAPD officers...kind of a spinoff of the show "NYPD BLUE" Last Thursday was the pilot episode for it, and I gotta say the show was terrible(granted it was the first show, and maybe it'll get better, but if not I think NBC should kill Southland, instead of Knight Rider.

I was watching the preview for The Office where the guy drops his pants. My first thought was, "This show wins Emmys, and they're still on the fence about Knight Rider? Crazy!"

Well, all I watch on NBC is the news, anyway, so I totally agree.

I did, only because it reminded me alot of either NYPD Blue or Third Watch(both shows of which have since taken a hike!) I gotta tell ya, I wasn't that imoressed with it!

Now if Southland gets better ratings in it's first season(which is a ways off yet, but still)than Knight Rider, then NBC has to overhaul it's rating system.

LOL....anyways, ok on a subject matter other than KR for a second here, did anyone besides me watch the pilot episode of NBC's new one called SOUTHLAND last Thursday night? I did, only because it reminded me alot of either NYPD Blue or Third Watch(both shows of which have since taken a hike!) I gotta tell ya, I wasn't that imoressed with it!

Now if Southland gets better ratings in it's first season(which is a ways off yet, but still)than Knight Rider, then NBC has to overhaul it's rating system.

Ready for season 2! Good job on season 1. I liked the change to re-establish FLAG and head in the direction of the "one man can make a difference" mantra. NBC needs to give season 2 a shot to see if the new format works. My 8 year old son LOVES KITT and can't wait to see new shows!

You finally did it right. You have the ball please don’t fumble it. This show was good but it wasn’t really Knight Rider until the end. You have 3/4 of the show right. I noticed also Glen Larsons name flashed at the beginning of the episode I find that phenomenal. It would also be nice to see a few things from the first series get wrapped up. Okay, my explanation may have been wrong. The 'on' part sounds like 'en'. Yes annie, percy 5 comes out may 5. I'll try the other books. I will participate in the boycot, but i say one night a week and 5 members is too weak. Knight rider lasted at least a year, pretty good for unpopular shows. Also, they called it the season finale, both pretty good. At least better than 'My Own Worst Enemy'. That show was kind of dumb. RobW, Nbc increaced frequency in the digital switch, so i don't think they're on radio anymore! Besides, i think the regular season of baseball is in fall, when the boycot will probably be over. I don't watch much baseball, since the 'Ms' suck. I watch football though even though the seahawks suck too, they're seattles best team. And i watch basketball too, since Gonzaga is in my town and they rule. By the way, nobody pronounces them right unless they live in Washington state. It's AGA the a like the a in apple. Every1 pronounces them A lke in ball. Hey, i listn to mitch in the mornin', fox sports radio 1510 kga (home of the zags).

Jefferson I live in the San Francisco area and the SF Giants have several of their games broadcast on one of the NBC TV stations here. However most of the games are on Comcast Sportsnet. So in the event that(and I hope it doesn't come to this)NBC drops Knight Rider, the ONLY time I will watch NBC will be the Giants broadcasts, but that's it! So I hope the top officials at NBC see this....RENEW KNIGHT RIDER OR YOU WILL BE BOYCOTTED! END OF STORY!

What EFFECTIVE way can we get a second season? NBC obviously thought that starting the show again after the classic version was worth it, so they should believe in a second season too.... right? This is practically the same thing that happened to Zim! Kinda... Anyway, NBC needs a second season! Season one was a great start, but the show will never catch on again unless NBC advertises Knight Rider A TON and makes another season! After just one season, not many shows are extremely popular! So continue!!! DO IT OR... I'LL MELT YOUR FACE OFF... or something...

Look, robw, i wouldn't get my hopes up about kr previews if i were you. The show's not even on the show list anymore. Maybe it's because the season is over. I mean, it was the first one to end. Chuck ended too, but that was very recent. The point i'm trying to make is that the chance of season 2 is 50/50. That's not enough to get your hopes up too much.

Oh, get this. In spokane, we had this HUGE snowstorm last december, almost broke the record, and they closed school. Now guess what? School ends on june 17th, AND BEGINS ON AUGUST 27TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's horrible!

Yeah...it's called a lack of sleep! I've been having trouble sleeping thanks to alot of back pain! Even after taking 2 Vicodin before bed, I'm still in pain! I've had that problem for 20+ years, thanks to a miscue by an orthopedic doctor at Shriner's Hospital when I was 15.

The audition was Sunday. There was a two-hour dance audition (I'm still sore!) then a vocal auditon. I NAILED IT! So happy.
I'll definitely tell Mike and KITT hello for you, but they're totally mum on the other subject. They've been back for a while, I just forgot to mention it. Everybody's asking them about season two, but they dont' reply to the messages. I've talked to Mike a couple times, and he didn't mention it. Apparently, for Easter, he super-glued a plastic egg to KITT's roof. In turn, KITT tripped him with a rope. Everybdoy's doin' good!

Robw, thank you. I read over my first posts, and i can see that i have been a little negative lately. I'm really not like that. Also, there may be a sliver of hope on kr season 2. And i mean a tiny sliver. You see, they might be adding kr later, which is doubtful. And also, kr isnt owned by nbc (i think), they just pay to run it. That means that another company could run it, like FOX or something. I mean, Malcom in the middle was rejected by, like, 3 stations until being accepted into FOX, and it was a high rated show. Could the same fate befall kr?

Ooh, ooh! I just saw that nbc is still deciding on returning show! There might be more than a sliver of hope, but who knows...

Yep! in NBC officials minds it's "to hell with a show that may not bring good ratings, let's keep crappy shows that don't do anything BUT get good ratings.
Knight Rider was just starting back up. I hardly ever watched the original with David H. but hey that show lasted at least 4 seasons!

I did watch all of the originals online, Rob, and I can see why it lasted for so long. The new KR series is just as good! And you've got a point; all NBC cares about is how good a rating their shows get! Every time they make a new show, it sucks, so it gets a good rating, and so they keep it! Anyway.
I had this great idea earlier. We (the KR fans) should set up some kind of KR convention-type thing. The actors could come, and the people on here, plus others!

Yes it is awesome elphie. I have a theory though, that riordan is making another PJ series for 3 reasons:
1: Kronos never got back to tarturs,
2: They showed a new great prophesy, which is pointless if it doesn't lead to anything,
3: In the aknoledgements, rick said, "As the first percy jackson series draws to a close," notice he said first, as if there will be another one.

Ok, i can see how that sounded like i was comparing p-and-a to kr and that it sounded like i expected kr to fail, but no! I love kr, and i hope it never fails. it's way better than any other nbc show (right above chuck). If kr played 24 hours a day, i would watch that instead of nbc. Sorry for any misconceptions.

lol, Anna. There was already a KR convention set up by Knight Rider online. all of the new actors were there, a long with KITT replicas (both TA and Mustang) and a lot of the old actors. I don't know if the Hoff was there or not. It was in Vegas. And yet, NBC wasn't paying attention.
One of the admins at my site brought this to my attention: Ford could use KR to help them get out of debt.Remember how much Mustang sales went up with the pilot movie?? STEP UP, FORD!

Well, it looks to me like NBC DID cancel KR because I've searched all of the NBC show lineups and NADA, ZIP, ZILCH, ZERO!
NBC SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!!!

Keep up the fight! Knight Rider is not quite cancelled yet. We still hav time, but have to let NBC, Universal, AND Ford we want Knight Rider back!

I don't know if this qualifies, Jeff, but I REALLY liked the bit where Nico's putting all the dead guys to sleep, and then he passes out himself! Hi again Anna, Elphie and anyone else going through Knight Rider WITHDRAWAL-I picked the following up on a separate KR website, and not sure if any of what this says is true but at least there might be hope!

Hopefully this will help in clarifying your concerns, Knight Rider isn't on NBC's fall schedules so its not coming back this season but....read Matthews post viewtopic.php?f=1046&t=14586 Uk audiences for the series have been nothing but positive..500k for the pilot and 700k for the first episode of GST's envisioning of the series. Some maybe sceptical how much influence the uk and international fanbase could have on KR's future but I look on this as a very positive sign that KR wont just be brushed under the rug, international audiences have been known to save shows before. Echoing whats already been said, the fat lady hasn't sung her final chord nor bust out into a rap so there is still time to get our voices heard and make a difference.

Hi Anna hope all is well with you. Jeff-Unfortunately KR is dead for at least the 09-10 fall tv season. I guess you missed my post ^^^. KR is making UK fans by the bunches-so maybe that will convince the writers, producers, etc to "reboot" Knight Rider late next year though. We can only hope!!!!! Good luck with your blog.

Oh and I have to say I did watch Jay Leno's last Tonight Show and I have to say I will miss him there. I wasn't all that excited about Conan taking over, but I guess I'll have to check out how he does in Leno's place starting next week!

Hi guys. I'm rob from the UK and i must say that i've been watching knight rider from the first time it was shown and now enjoying watching it all over again on Sci-Fi UK in full HD.
I am a really big Knight Rider fan and thought this wouldn't be as good as the orgional but it has grown on me.
You must not compare this to the origional as this was NBC's knight rider and not universal's Knight Rider but, why bring a show back and get everyone excited about the new car then cancel it without giving it a proper chance. You're not going to get big numbers, especially on first season.

All i can say is NBC. If you do read these blogs then plz reboot KR and make all of us die hards fans really happy as i'm sure you making big money form the rights of the other countries.

from what I can gather the show has been canceled.I'm upset about this waited for months for second season and there won't be any at all.If NBC wants to cancel shows then ditch these dumb reality shows, they stink and is not worth watching in my book.if people want to see reality, go outside and look around.I want Knight Rider back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
