I understand Billy, I was Captain Jack Harkness for Halloween and no one knew who I was also. At least when I wore the outfit at Comic Con this summer I felt at home.

See, the trouble is that THAT Captain Jack doesn't exactly have a distinctive costume. He has a distinctive MANNER. Maybe if you'd hit on anything that moved, it would have been more obvious? (There's another pansexual Captain Jack you could've dressed up as who has a much more defined look, but I suspect the beads and the hat and the dreadlocks and the boots and the lamp-black around the eyes would probably not be entirely appropriate for your average work environment, really.)

As for doppelganger kissing... Doesn't count except as fodder for an active fantasy life, really. This doesn't mean such things can't be FUN, however.

As a twin, I can say that once in a while it's fun to joke with the kiss. Especially on halloween.
Costume wise, I only know who he is because your with a mix of Mike remind me of my husband. He's the tech geek plus ex military. So He's like a combo of the two of you.

Billy, I recognized you as soon as you were walking in! I love Capt Jack, DW and TW! It's a shame not many people knew who you where. Scifi geeks unite!

Billy! Dewd! Your Capn. Jack Harkness costume was epic! The fact that you chose the 'ammortal leader of Torchwood + occasional TARDIS occupant (when visiting with his 920+ year old TimeLord friend The Doctor, was, to me, an awesome nod to another Scifi/Action(ish) show that was very popular in the early 80s too... I am of course refering to Dr Who, the Classic version, which I watched during dinner almost every day. Of course, Knight Rider's original series had me glued to the TV weekly.
Oh, and no.. it wasn't a typo.. Jack is 'ammortal' meaning 'without death' as opposed to immortal, which is not quite the same.. they can die, but just not easily. But enough of that. Just a side note, if you decide to attend any costume parties as Capn. Jack later on. just dye your hair a bit darker, use a 'semi-gloss' pale makeup on your face.. and fake a clef chin.. people won't be able to tell you two apart.. (lol)
And i think the reason that the infiltrator actually decided to kill herself, was because well.. let's face it, the real Zoe smacked her out at but good at the last minute and to most women, to be seen in the same outfit as someone you look very similar to, is worse tha death. ;)
Oh yeah.. keep an eye on Mike, he was zoning pretty severly when looking at the information that KITT had shown him of KARR.Hmm I have a feeling that KARR might have had something to do with his lost memories.. (oops!).. hehe. By the way, kickass audio extraction and waveform analysis system you were using that day. By the way, can it do DTS for surround sound when watching YouTube vids? ;)

Kudos on the costume, Billy! Great choice! Though I'm a bit biased -- I crossplayed Captain Jack myself for Halloween :) Not one person at the Museum of Science and Industry (where my friend and I spent the day) recognized me. Ah well, soon enough Torchwood will take over the world! Bwahaha!

Mike Tracer used K.A.R.R. in Irac. Mike was a good solder, did everything he was told.
Mike is a closer, he gets the job done. He was so good, he had his memories of Irac whipped clean so he would not tell anyone of his black op missions. Just a thought Billy, what do you think?

i think zoe duse like billy rember that one where SARAH comes out and billy looks at her zoe hits him to make him stop looking why would she do that if she didnt like him and in lasts night when billy calls that one girl hott or maybe it was cute she give billy a pissed off look so make she duse have feelings for him.
