My Friend Jessica Golden sent me this today. I thought I'd share it with you all.
Have You Forgotten?
Have you forgotten who you are, that you were born a child of God, a divine hand, a piece of a giant collective heart that lives to love and loves to live? Have you forgotten that you matter, that you are infused with a divine power and, because of this gift, you are powerful beyond measure? Have you forgotten that when loneliness, struggle, fear and limitation are present, they are nothing but states of consciousness that are just an illusion, an intermittent interference, a smokescreen hiding the true essence of who you are?
Have you forgotten that you deserve better, that there is no one in the world quite like you and that without you, our collective heart cannot be whole or healed? Have you forgotten that peace begins when you have claimed your piece and your place in our collective family? This is all that you are here to do. Have you forgotten that we were all created equal and that it is our birthright to be treated that way?
Just for today, live like it is your piece that the world needs and is waiting for. Watch, as you step into this truth, how the universe opens up its arms to you. Watch as the world shifts right in front of your eyes and how your essence turns back into a part of the divine herself. Do it for no other reason than to bring a little more peace and EQUALITY to the world today. Do it so that you remember the great gift of life - which is YOU. And in doing so, you will remind others - through reflection - the great gift that they are to this world.
Remember YOU are the love WE are waiting for.

May 22nd at the Dome in the Queen Mary, Long Beach, California. I make a rare southern California appearance the 22nd of May at the Queen Mary. The shows are going to be phenominal. 2 shows that night. 8pm and 10:30pm. The first show is the more family friendly show..and the 10:30pm is the funny show..I kid..sort of.

Wichita, KS.
Wichita - Fred Phelps' notorious Westboro Baptist Church threatens protest of comedian ANT's Gay Up Stand Up Comedy Show demands Orpheum Theatre cancel show and stop programing for gays.
ANT issues the following statement through his publicist.
"Fred Phelps and his minion/sister (singular tense intentional) are more than welcome to come and protest my show. As there will be a large group of gay and very fashionable straight people at the event, I will be enforcing the following: The wearing of Polyester will be strictly prohibited. If your name is Gater, Skeeter, Goober, Goner,
Donner or Blitzen spittoon's will be confiscated on sight. If your home is registered with the Department of Motor
Vehicles, you may protest me but you must park your house on the yellow brick road...We are in Kansas after all.
And finally, Fred Phelps was once overheard saying, 'I'll leave the little homos alone when a blind hog finds an acorn.' Well, what more is there to say after that?"

I get letters everyday from young people asking why being "out" is so importANT. The gay community is a very docile group. We don't get into fist fights per se. We only take to the streets when we have been pushed beyond the limits of what civilized society would deem unacceptable. And we aren't prone to lynching people, bashing them, and then trying to justify it with a "gay panic" defense. Can you imagine if a heterophobic gay person murdered a straight person and used a "straight panic" defense? You'd still be able to hear the laughter.
When you are "out," you are visible and have identified yourself as a member of a group and community. The more people that come out the larger that community gets. There is safety in numbers. There is also strength in numbers. Think about this. The more openly gay people in society - the more likely straight people will come in contact with one in their daily routines. That's where understanding and healing begin. It's hard to hate someone when that someone is also your brothers, sister, neighbor, friend, mailman, stock broker etc...You are living openly. That in itself is a statement to those around you that you are not lurking in the darkness, hiding something shameful. You are proud of who you. When you are proud and have no secrets...NO ONE can hurt you. You taken away the biggest obstacle seperating them from us...fear. Miracles happen when fear isn't looking.
