SOCALNANCY- I think Marlee should go home from tonight's performance. I like her and she is doing great, but the fact that she can't hear the music showed tonight and last week. Christian sure got better. I didn't think Shannon Elizabeth did as bad as they said. I know she doesn't move her hips, but it was OK. What did you think? I voted for Kristi on the computer.

Night Shift Report:

All is very quiet in Antland. Even Jazzy seems to be asleep! very strange for even him. Hope he is not sic with antitis, I hear it's going around!

Kitchen is clean, breakfast is ready for day shift, dog and cat are both feed. Cat is in with Nancy, and Dog is curled up by fireplace.

Off to do rounds, and sprinkle nighttime glitter around, help everybody sleep well.

VANCOUVER GIRL- Thanks for the extra sprinkle tonight. I needed that as my head is killing me. I finally made it grocery shopping tonight! I hope all is well with you.

Night Shift Report:

Unusually quiet here in Antland. Vancouvergirl has been busy so I will try to tuck in the little Ants tonight in her place. Oh, its Spring, maybe I will just tuck in the lady Ants instead :)

Doors are locked, windows shut, pets fed, but I'm not touching the alarm system. I would probably set it off and wake everyone up!

Now what to do about breakfast? There is still plenty of milk and juice from yesterdays breakfast. I will pull out the white and wheat bread along with the toaster strudel and let the morning Ants decide what they want. I am not the morning chef like Cher and Vancouvergirl....

alarms about to ring, loud banging noises coming from all over, as tho someant is running madly around banging pots n pans, or whatever, together. Gotta find the source and stop it, before the whole colony wakes up! Just when I thought I could relax and all was quiet, should have known better!

Vancouvergirl! You are up! I was just putting out all the juices and milk for the morning crew. See?

I also have the bread out of its wrappers and on the plates so they can grab and go quickly! Butter is on the plate with the jams and jellies on the table. You must have heard me drop the one jar, but I was getting ready to clean it up with the new dish towel here.

How am I doing?

Of course I'm up Jazzy, who wouldn't be with all this banging and clanging going on! I'm worried about you, I truly am. I think we should have you go for a check up. I hope you don't have antitis again. Since when are you the ever helpful Jazzy??? And cleaning up??? nawwwww something is wrong here.

ANT,
Weather in Halifax for the week is mid 40's to 50 F. Light rain/showers. Remember if you hear temperatures, we are Celsius so mid 40's would be approx 8C and 50 would be approx 12C so it sounds worse than it is!! To you it will be cold but to Canadians, temps in the 50's, I'm in shorts already!!!

Unfortunately Halifax is too far for me. From Toronto is about 1100 miles. It would be like driving from Atlanta to Boston so therefore no way for this Ontario Ant to go.

Do enjoy! Wunderbars! There is a Costco there. I would think fresh seafood too -- real fresh as down east is partly a fishing industry. I don't know for sure if it is too early yet but anytime I've been down east -- nummmmmm.

i'm fighting my sad voice inside that keeps saying "you are stupid for quitting your jobs before finding one to replace it..." because i know it isn't true. it's just my insecurity speaking. i need to keep positive, but as everyday passes by, it gets harder to keep that voice at bay. do you have any advice?

ANT, I can’t believe what rotten luck you are having with your computer. It reminds me of a this story someone at a support center once told me. There was this guy who called in to the center and said "You’ll have to come and get my computer. It’s dead." So the support guy started asking him questions "Have you tried this and that?" You know, reboot, recovery disks, reinstall, all that stuff. But whatever he asked about the customer persisted "No, just come and get the computer. It’s dead." Well, it turned out that the computer really was dead because the guy had shot it.

Hey Ant I do believe that all the positive energy you are feeling is the overwhelming sense of joy the rest of the country is FINALLY getting..........SPRING SPRING SPRING!!!!!! You of course have fab year round weather and u couldn't get it, but we are seeing trees bud, flowers bloom and temps finally above 40 degrees. You can sense it in the air. Luv and be safe on ur journey.

And yes they have the fastest,tallest,and the most coasters in one park anywhere.

Hi ya'll. Hope all are having a good day. Mine bites. The interview was a distastar. They wouldn't even speak to me because I didn't do as well as they wanted on spelling. SPELLING are you serious. I have worked for fortune 500 companies, several entertainment compainies and casinos and a spelling test stops me. Whatever, they need me more than I need them. And Ant after watching the blog it reminded me, its a job. I have a husband that loves and adores me, a nice home and possibility of a family very soon. Thats whats important. Life is like the ocean. There are high and low tides. Sometimes you ride the waves, sometimes you sink to the bottom, but if you don't learn to swim, you stay at the bottom in the abyss. You will never control the oceans of life.

Having my life affected by cancer has thought me to swim and even when I think I'm drowning. I am grateful for every day I'm still able to swim.

It's nice to have all the things you've ever dreamed of, but trust me...that's not going to make you happy! Go out and marvel the nature.
