Okay, I haven't read HP6 yet because I got wrapped up with Oprah's book club, Faulkner, couldn't get into The Sound and the Fury. My friend sent me Isabel Allende new Novel, "Zorro" Ali, let me tell you I been a fan of Allende since I read The House of the Spirit, aside from G.G. Marquez, she is one of the best writers from Latin America.

Hi Ali, Thanks for posting again. I'm so glad to hear from you. I don't mind hearing what's going to happen next on Days of our Lives. It makes it more fun to know what's going to happen and to find out for myself. LOL Yea, I seen the cover of the soap digest at the store and seen that "Kate's Busted!!" I thought it was pretty funny.

I am so happy that Wayne Northrup is back on Days. Knowing that Deidre Hall was actually married to him in real life. That is so awesome for her to work with and ex-coworker and ex-husband. LOL I think he's awesome.

About the eBay thing, I'm not really into eBay. My boyfriend is though and buys things from there. Also you just have to be careful who you buy things off of cause they can rip you off. Be Careful.

About babies and dislike and likes, I know all about that. I have two girls, (older girls) that when they were babies, there was different foods they did not like. I can admit that some of it could be hereditary. I believe it. I don't like sweet potatos either and neither does my girls. I think I fed my girls that when they were babies and they made weird faces also. LOL It was hilarious. Yea, you just have to find the right kinds of foods and let Ben try it and see if he likes it. That's the only way he's going to let you know. As a mother, I know these things.

I'm going to be in L.A. in two weeks on Wednesday the 17th and I will be taking a tour at nbc studios probably either the 18th or the 19th, I hope you'll be there. I'm hoping to see some of you and to get my picture taken with you all. Anyway, hope to see you soon. Take Care

I have to say that Sami is my fav as well and I hope that her and Lucas can be happy together from now on. Alli I know all about being a mommy I have three and my youngest is 9 months next week. He has been the happiest baby I have had, but also been through alot of surgeries and about to go through yet another, so I can give ya all kinds of advice and some good venting on my part so your vents seem normal too...lol...oh and Derek love Sweet Potatoes, actually he loves all potatoes, but he hates peas and green beans unless it is what I cooked for us. He loves anything mommy and daddy and brother and sister are eating...Juat wait until Ben gets teeth he'll think he can eat anything! Oh and when he does give him a plum and have camera ready that first bite is priceless!

I've been so busy at work these last 5 days I've missed Days! I will certainly be watching tomorrow and Friday. I can't wait to see Kate get busted!!!! It's been a long time coming. I truly want Kate to get what she deserves!! It's amazing the animosity I feel towards her character. Kudos for the actress who portrays her. She is magnificent; the way she evokes such strong emotions in the fans.

Hey, Ali. Thank to my mom, who's a big fan, I've been following Days for almost 20 years (I'm now 27). I really like Sami, and it gets a little frustrating watching knowing Sami is telling the truth, and Kate is lying, and noboby'll believe Sami. I can't wait to see Kate finally getting what she deserves!

I've a 8-month son, Liam, and he's picky about what he likes to eat. So far he likes oatmeal, peas, and applesauce, and carrots just a little bit. He doesn't seem to care for rice cereal, barley cereal, sweet potatoes, or green beans. My mom-in-law told me my husband was also a picky eater as an infant.

I love looking on E-bay. I actually saw a golden snitch on there once (Supposedly it was one of the many given out at one of the HP movie premiers). I had a supervisor, who would go on there daily. She's bought everything from a toddler bed for her daughter to Tampa Bay Bucs tickets for her husband.

My husband and I love HP. He read book 6 in a day. It took me 3 days. We can't wait until the Goblet of Fire movie comes out in November, and we're even more anxious about book 7 coming out, especially after reading book 6.

Days is getting so interesting. I have been watching for 15 years now. I have gotten my roommate involved. she wants me to make her a family tree to follow along but i told you that could take years and a lot of paper. LOL!!! Thanks for keeping us involved with the happenings in your life.
I moved to LA 2 years ago and I still get so excited if i see a movie taping on the street or see a celebrity somewhere. I have been hoping that i would run into someone from "Days". I finally did and it WASN'T a good experience. I went to the Cheesecake factory in Sherman Oaks and saw "Brandon" I was so excited. I turned all red my friends were laughing. I finally got the courage to go talk to him and asked him for his autograph. He signed it and with what looked like a sad face and walked off and didn't say anything. I was so upset. Maybe he was having a bad day but come on. Anyways, have a great weekend. I am going to go see WICKED!!!!!

I think Sami's one of my favorite characters on this show. She's been one of the only constant things on it, she's never changed, always after a man, always wronged and always out for vengeance. I think she's fabulous and sets a true challenge for other women in daytime tv to try to be like her. She's conniving, mean, yet devilishly beautiful. She's very close to being Alexis Harrington!

OMG, did you cry when you read HBP? I was completelely bawling when the death happened. I was also squealing when Harry and his new girlfriend got together (being ambiguous so as not to spoil people) and I have to believe they'll get back together -- that poor boy deserves some happiness in his life!

whew....... about the sweet potatoes thing!!! not heredity.......lol....just ben showing his individuality! I don't like them either, myself..... but you should always attempt new foods at least 9 times before decideing to not try that food anymore.... (read that in parenting mag.) I never liked the flavor of carrots, boiled or raw....... but my son loves them ( so does his dad ) .....BUT..... my son loves broccolli and cauliflower.....as I do, yet his dad does not. So, it depends on what foods he is introduced to, and he WILL let you know if he likes it or not! no worries there.......LOL

and just to touch base when the food comes ......out the other end...... watch out for the diariah......whew, my son shot it at me up and down........and that was after I thought he was done.......and no, it wasn't # 1 ......lol yes, very nasty....but, it is a mom moment you'll never forget......(as neither will I.)

so just know, I am here for you, as a mom.....swap some stories hehe..... but I will try to not overstep the "nasty" bounds......after all, this is a very nce website after all!

Alison, I remember watching Days with my mom when I was probably 3 or 4 years old. I don't know exactly what age but I was young. Now I am 23 and she tapes it every day, as do I. I love it and I can't get enough. I am so glad Sami and Lucas are together again! I am pregnant with my second child (hormones are awful)and when Lucas asked Sami to marry him again today.... I cried..lol. Your son is so handsome. Enjoy him!

Glad to hear that things are going well. Thank you for blogging and keeping us up on what's going on with Ben and Days. You are so wonderful to your fans.

I don't know if Ben's dislikes are hereditary but I do know that his tastes can change as he gets older. I speak from personal experience since I have no children yet...when I was a kid I hated broccoli and cream cheese but now I love both. He may grow to like those sweet potatoes later on, you never know.

I look forward to watching Days every night at 7pm EST on Soapnet. I was so happy that they began airing Days at that time because I used to only be able to watch Days on Mondays on my day off. I've watched it off and on since I was a teenager and I'm 33 now. And now that it's on Soapnet I'm a full-blown addict again. LOL

I know you love your husband and I am married myself but geez-o-man, I envy you so much for getting to kiss Bryan as much as you do. (Hey, I'm human!) :) Whoo-eee he is such a hottie and the chemistry between the two of you on-screen is amazing. I hope that Sami and Lucas do end up getting married and get a chance at happiness. I have been watching Days for a long time and I have always loved the way you bring out Sami's role, keep up the great work. I hope you never leave the show, I would hate to see someone else play Sami!!!

I had to chuckle when I read your comment about the sweet potato incident. My son is 13 months and has graced me with spatterings of a variety of foods. It doesn't help that his father encouraged him to blow raspberries as soon as I got a spoonful of food in his mouth. I'm hoping he's out of that phase now.

Anyway, I got my parents hooked on Days a few years ago, and we all love your character. I'm completely jealous that you can look so amazing so soon after having Ben. (It's hard to pry me out of my sweatpants and t-shirt each day.) Well, good for you!...and good luck with the food trials!

I love watching Days. It reminds me so much of my life:) Anyways, I am glad that Kate got busted after all these yrs. Now maybe Sami, Lucas and Will can be a family. Keep up the good work, and good luck on the baby food. I have 3 boys and they love to spit food even if they do like it. They thought that it was funny to spit at their mom and see me laugh at them.

I've so enjoyed this week! The writers did a great job keeping the audience in suspense over whether Sami really had the tapes -- and they would actually play. Well done! I just wanted to comment on how I appreciate some of the subtle addressing of social issues on the show. The focus on land mines and amputation has been great! I teach at a univeristy in the area of early childhood special education. I would love for the show to put in a plug at some point for early intervention for young children with developmental delays and disabilities. What a wonderful opportunity you all have, and I am so pleased to see some of these issues come out.

I have a very busy career and life as a mom of two. I enjoy so much how Days takes me away from it all each day and always manages to give me a good chuckle. Thanks for what I'm sure takes extreme dedication. Days wouldn't be the same without you as Sami! Take care.

The writing was right on 100% for Sami getting Kate! I wanted to cry when Sami and Lucas got back together. For some reason, I seem to get a kick out of watching Nicole and Sami together. I guess 2 bad girls trying to go good, it's just...funny. LOVE that Wayne is back! I thought it was quite funny to see all the once was and is "ROMAN" characters all in one shot. I really enjoy the "behind the scenes" stories. Keep up the good work Ali, love the blog too!

Just found your blog and think it is great. You look absolutely wonderful on the show!! How did you get back in shape so fast after having a baby? I am so glad to see your character get some happiness for a change(as short lived as it may be) LOL!! Why not ask those writers to let Sammi tell Lucas about Stan before someone else ruins her happiness and goodness forbid, stops another wedding? Would love to see Kate get more of what she deserves!!
Sweet potatoes were not a favorite of either of my kids. They enjoyed peaches, carrots and applesauce as their firsts. Have a great day!!

I have been rooting for Sami and Lucas from the beginning. Hopefully, it will last, but we all know how soap operas work!

Hope that the baby is doing great. Make sure that you remember how precious they are at this age. Mine is three and I have no idea how that happened!

My 8 year old just loves you we went to a women's expo in Hartford CT about 2 years ago and Brandon was there and my daugther asked him why he is so mean to you it was very funny. Keep up the good work with kate can't stand her. Enjoy your bundle of love they grow up quickly.

For years I have always thought Alison Sweeney was a excellent actress. Could she be ready for the super big screen? I think so - but then we would miss her on DOOL. Alison - what is it like being married to a policeman ? And does your husband hope to be Chief of Police one day ?

This site is really cool and I like this "blogging" thing!! I'm a huge Days fan. I've been watching since I was 11 yrs old and I'm 32 now. I've basically watched you grow up on screen!! I was extactic when the SOAP Network put Days on at 7pm. I NEVER have to miss an episode!! I've even gotten my husband into Days. That should say something!! I love the story line with Sammi and Lucas. I was glad to see that they still had a chance. Keep up the great work!!

Your son is beautiful!! I had my daughter (Morgan) 2 years ago and it's been a whirl wind ever since. The is the best thing that ever happened in my life. I'm not sure how it works on the set, but going back to work was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. As far as food, hopefully Ben will not be too picky of an eater.

I'm planning on coming to CA and want to take a tour of NBC studios. If you have an information on getting a tour of the Days set, that would be great!

I want you to know that I have been a Days fan since 1982 and I have seen people come and go but I am delighted you stay. I love the character of Sami and you are fantastic. my son hated Sweet potatoes. Food likes and dislikes might be hereditary but try everything because they might like it anyway. My son went through stages where he likes it once but hated it the next time and he is still like that at 15 years old.

Was Deidre really married to Wayne Northrup in real life. I can't believe it.
Also what happened to the comments about the Halloween party and taking Ben to the pumpkin patch and he hated the pumpkins? I read it one day and went back to re read and it was gone.

Hey Ali, I am a huge fan of Days, always have been and always will be. One of the only shows I really look forward to watching everyday since most of the time I am layed up having back surgery after back surgery. I will be having my 9th one this week due to Scoliosis. Diagnosed at a young age. I'm trying to win that Libman co. sweepstakes so I can meet all you guys. That's been a dream of mine. I am 38.
