I'm really glad Dan won the challenge - first, he got the satisfaction and feel-good-ness of winning, and second, his teammate Dave was probably the at-home contestant who needed cooking help the most. I hope there were a lot of early 20's or late teen viewers who saw that cooking can be easy and cheap and just as satisfying as fast food. That can be the KEY to weight loss for many.

I was so excited to see Curtis Stone last night! He is very attractive and that accent gets me ever time lol. It was also cool to see that Kurt Warner was there for the football challenge (which was obviously taped prior to the Cardinals even knowing they were going to the Superbowl!) I really liked what Tara had to say at the elimination to Dave and she was right; so many people want to be on the show and he doesn't realize the great opportunity that he has. As far as Days, I happened to catch a mistake between yesterday and today's episodes. Yesterday, while Sami was at the clinic she had makeup on and then Sami had to help the nurse with the oxygen. Today, Sami had no makeup on and they put the oxygen on her with no problem. Oops! Hope Ben and Megan are doing well!

Congradulations on the birth of your daughter Megan. I love Days and you guessed it Sami is my Favorite character. Although I wish she could finally have a little happiness in her life. Lord knows she deserves it. LOL I also watch The Biggest Loser. It's my favorite reality show because it changes peoples lives. I do have a question about Days though. I saw a pic of EJ tied up on the NBC website and was wondering when that happened. I must have missed it. Well congrates again and I wish you well with your new addition.

Ali you are such a sweetheart. The Biggest Loser did all of us a favor having you on the show. Your kindness and good heart show through and it does not take long to know just how lovely you are. I do not watch Days,but, so glad you are on Biggest Loser, which is one of the best shows ever. I am not overweight, but it thrills me to watch everyone make positive, difficult life changes. I'm amazed at the strength the contestants exhibit in their pursuit in losing weight and their determination and desire in accomplishing that goal. You keep it up Ali, you are so good for the contestants and a joy for us who watch to experience your strength of character.

One more comment. I was so surprised at Dans partner not wanting to come back to the ranch. It seems the excuse he used was just that, an excuse, that he did not want to interrupt his lifestyle.When Curtis visited him (by the way, I am from Australia as well living in the USA)!, when he said he had been eating out a few times it showed he was not committed, as I am sure if he were he would have figured out after one week on the ranch what he should be eating. I felt bad for Dan as he badly needs this experience and his partner, according to the stats in weight loss we saw last nigh,t was not so great for him but terrific for Dan. Dan has a long way to go but he is getting there one step at a time. Wish he could return.

Congrats on the baby girl, I love the name I am partial to it because I have a sister named Megan.

I have watched all the seasons of Biggest Loser and I think you are a great host, you are real! The contestants and viewers need to see someone who has feelings and shows emotions when watching the transformations and growth of the contestants. It is a breathe of fresh air!
What an experience, it is sad that Dave was willing to throw the chance away when he was giving up for his friend too. How selfish, hopefully it does not come back to bite him in the ass!
Loved seeing Jerry was healthy. Joelle finally clued in to what she was supposed to be doing at the ranch, what a relief!
Wish they had the same opportunity for people where I live in Bermuda. So many people would benefit!

My 16-year old daughter surprised us by making dinner tonight--it was Curtis Stone's Rosemary Chicken Skewers served with wild rice and tossed salad. It was absolutely delicious and very simple to prepare. We'll definitely be making those again and would highly recommend this recipe to Biggest Loser viewers.

I missed the second half of the biggest loser from Tuesday, I taped it and when I was going to watch it, guess what was on the rest of the tape?? You prabably guessed it it was Days of our Lives Episode from Wednesday where you gave birth to your daughter on the show!!!!

I hope you don't give up your baby on the show, and I want Mia to keep her baby too, she seems to have second thoughts about giving her baby up to Nicole, don't do it!!!! By the way, I do feel for Nicole too, its very sad that she had to lose her baby on the show... What a mix up!!!! But I guess that's a typical Soap.... Loved seeing little Theo giving his Mama Lexi a hug, was soo sweet.... I do especially love seeing Steve and Kayla back on the show with Bo and Hope, missed them a lot!! But I am still very sad that John and Marlena left, hope that its only a plot and that they will come back soon again, Days is nothing without them...
I would have liked seeing you saying goodby to your Mom and John on air, would have been nice, but I guess you still have to be in the Witness Protection Plan, and I hope hot Rafe will make it out of the killers hands!!!!

Alison, is it true that you are refusing to come back to Days unless EJ/Sami are over and Lucas is the father of the baby? Please, say it isn’t so! I love Sami and I really want to see her with EJ and their new baby. Lucas was in jail so how can he be the father? EJ’s already lost Nicole’s baby. He deserves to have Sami’s!

It's heartbreaking that Dan had to leave all because Dave's heart wasn't "in it" .. so unfair to Dan and his quest to better himself and live a long and healthy life. What a dissapointment. Congrats on your baby girl Ali !!

I was a bit confused about the 30 days that some contestants were at home. They were sent home at the end of week 1 and returned at the end of week 4. That seems like 3 weeks so only 21 days at home.

Is a week at the ranch a real week or could it be 10 days?

Many of us want Dan back. The Biggest Loser if I recall, brought Ali back during season 5. I feel Dan was punished for what his self centered, so called friend did. That guy Dave is all about himself. From eating out in restaurants as he told Curtis when he went to his house to cook for him, to the "I don't want to be here on the Ranch". He was no friend to Dan, that goes without saying, but if they could do something to give Dan another chance it would make a lot of us viewers very happy! Ali you are a sweetheart and congrats to you and your hubby on the birth of that precious baby. You truly shine and make all of us viewers feel warm and fuzzy inside. So thanks for that.

Why are women on the show referred to as girls? If you wouldn't call an adult male a boy why are women called girls? It's demeaning! Okay if the show wants to call men 'guys' then the women would be 'gals', right? I do realize you don't write the script. Every week it bothers me so finally I had to say something.

To all you people that are asking for Dan back, don't you realize this was all filmed last year? the season is already over except for the season finale which is live.

I'm curious why do you never write about Days? Are you not allowed to? I figure either its that or you just really prefer BL over DOOL. I know all of your days fans would love to hear what you think about current situations in salem, i.e. crazy nicole and when we can hope she'll get the boot! --

Ali, a suggestion for the producers for next season of BL. Instead of all those really *subtle* (not) 'commercials', why not get sponsors for each team. You could have a Yoplait Team, and a Jenny-O team, and a Jell-O team, etc. Drop the bogus skits and just get their names all over the place. I know the show needs to get its money from somewhere, but man - those fake ad's just kill the sense of reality.

i love you Ali, i genuinely love that your a part of this show, and i think that you handle even the difficult moments really well, and that you are real with the contestants and treat them as your equals which they are.
I also heard you workout with them sometimes, whihch i think is even more awesome. i love this show , its so inspiring, for people not just dealing with weight, but accross the board difficult situations.

Carla and Dan got the short end of the stick. They both want to be there. It was because of their partners lack of dedication that they too were sent home. To bad they can't be brought back as a team. Biggest female, and biggest guy on the show.....joined as a team!!! They both need it so much.

I wonder if anyone else thought the treatment of Joelle was cruel. If obesity is related to other issues, then clearly Joell has serious ones. In most clips she looked like a deer in the headlights. I thought she looked like a trauma victim. Clearly she is "used to" being bullied and put down, her "friend" Carla was perhaps the worst offender, but the other contenstants who openly spoke of her and to her face with such venum should be ashamed. Sure, everyone has to pay the price of not making weight, but what about the woman who lost 2 pounds in 30 days and they other who said she worked out 4-5 hours a day and lost only a few. (Right!) How many of those contenstants had faced shame and humilation in the past and were accused by others of being too lazy and not sticking with the program? I think Joelle would have benefited from some psychological intervention. Even Jullian's efforts, as she has done with others in the past might have helped. In a nutshell, Joelle is way sicker than the other contestants and for that reason needed more help, perhaps of a different sort then yelling and swearing at her and shaming her. I used to respect this show, but whoever decided to set the tone in its treatment of Joelle went for ratings at a human being's expense. Shame.

NO WAY!! She has been slacking since the day she walked on to campus!! she may be saying "yes, I want to be here," but her actions are saying something very very different!! Their were times in last nights show where she was wandering aimlessly around the gym like she didn't know what to do next....after 5 weeks, she should have a very clear idea of what she should have been doing and how hard she should be doing it!! Dan was sent home because he fell below the yellow line, his partner had not nothing to do with it!! Dan's partner wouldn't have weighed in until last night...but Dan was below the yellow line all on his own. I think Dan learned enough with his time on the ranch that he will be very successful on his own and his partner will be just as successful now that he has spent time with the chef to be taught ways to "trim" down his food and still enjoy it.

Was so sorry to see Dan leave. He was the main reason I starting watching the show. Please find a way to bring him back or at least keep
in touch with him to make sure he sticks with the diet. I am proud of him and would hate to seem him falter just because he was voted off.

I think Joelle had deeper problems as well but I guess I think differently. I think Joelle has never been accountable to anyone for anything. She just was walking around thinking that whatever she did was okay because she hadn't been held to a better/higher standard. I think from the second Bob had a meltdown you could see this. She was very used to being who she was...and when she did ANYTHING outside of this...she thought she was pushing herself. Bob held her to a standard that he knew she could meet but she didn't have the confidence to believe him because she had never pushed herself before. I don't think Carla was a negative contributor to her condition...but someone who challenged Joelle as well. Someone who expected more of Joelle than Joelle thought was possible. Sometimes challenge/confrontation do weird things to people...and I think Joelle just crumbled under it all.

I enjoy watching Biggest Loser, but at the end of each episode I always feel a little disappointed. There is too much repetition, build up, and drama and not enough real information. I wish the Biggest Loser could teach it's watchers how to do a proper workout. We get to see snipits and weight loss and cooking tips, but never a whole workout for real weight loss. We know the contestants are working their butts off (literally) by working out in that gym. But we aren't learning what we need to learn from this show.

Please ask the producers to add more workouts, as in how to, and what to do in each workout to make it count.

Ali~ The message comment page has been getting brutal with some making comments other dont like then they attack them with words. Why doesnt NBC mke the comment page like yours, or the Biggest Loser League and make the person commenting log on to post? At the comment page on the BL site some are changing their names to others names and trying to get mean stuff going.

I have a suggestion for future seasons of the show that will help people with knee problems. I wasn't sure who to send this to, but I'm hoping you can get it to the right people. The Biggest Loser campus should have a pool. The water exercises put less stress on the knees and other joints so those contestants with bad knees will be able to do the strenuous workouts and lose the same weight without putting too much pressure on their knees. I know that this season the brown team father could have used a pool.

There is a pool on campus. They show it quite frequently actually. They haven't shown a water workout though for a couple of seasons.

Hey Ali! So I've been watching the Biggest Loser since it started and I love it. I have a great idea for a season if you're interested. I think Biggest Loser should do Biggest Loser Teens. I'm just suggesting this because I did a Google search (I love Google!) and I found out that 90% of overweight people in the country are teens. Pretty please with a huge hug on top, suggest this to the writers and producers for me. Thanks a bunch!

The people in here amaze me. What does it matter, what she wears or how she acts. The show is about the contestants. Everyone has their own opinions about how they would like the show to go, so lets not attack each other in the process. I am a huge Biggest Loser fan and it's the highlight of my week. I do agree, however, that I wish they would show more of the workouts. This is by far my favorite season so far. Looking forward to part 2 tonight

This week's episode was heart breaking. Watching Bob's team in that meeting outside the gym and then his conversation with Mandi on the Bonus scenes video breaks my heart. I think this show is becoming so much about the surprise factor and the "what can we do to make it interesting" that the contestants aren't really thought about. I think everything will work out for the best...but it was really hard to watch this week's happenings. Guess we'll start to know where allegiances lie here. 3 Bobs and 2 Jillians on Bob's team and 2 Jillians 4 Bob's on Jillian's team. Might be intersting to see this pan out. I am really sad that Dane went home though. I think it should've been Aubrey.

I love the biggest loser but I am not crazy about Ali. I think the show can find someone who is a little more authentic and sincere. It is not a good match. Ali needs to be on a soap opera or something. I think a new host will really liven up the show. Someone who is more comfortable in there skin and can relate to the contestants. Maybe a former contestant or a life coach. I am just not feeling Ali as the host of the show.
