Hey everyone!!! Hope you all have been having a great summer. I'm in my second trimester now, and feeling great again (knock on wood) because I have a lot going on! We are just now wrapping up Biggest Loser, which will premiere on Sept 16th, can't wait for you to meet the new contestants. But - even sooner than that - I have an event coming up in New York City that I wanted to let you all know about.
Come visit me on Tuesday, August 26 at 10 a.m. EST in Times Square for the “High Profile Pair in the Square” auction of jeans worn and donated by celebrities. All proceeds benefit the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation. The lucky auction bidder awarded the first pair of jeans will also receive the new GE Profile Frontload Washer and Dryer with SmartDispense Technology (approximate value: $3,500). For those unable to attend the event, a separate sweepstakes for a washer and dryer will be held at www.washingmyjeans.com, and the celebrity jeans auction will be available at www.clothesoffourback.org immediately following the live auction. I'm getting all my friends on board to donate jeans, so definitely check out the auction!!! Hope to see you there!

Alison, what a great thing to hear that you are feeling well and enjoying you second pregnancy!! I'm hoping that I can watch you grow over the next few months and for you not to be hidden behind counters and big purses!! What a great idea to raise monies for charity. I wish I could be there but live on the other side of North America and don't foresee coming to NY anytime soon. Best of luck raising lots of money though!! Lastly, I can see how much you must love your job at Days! It shows in your acting. Please keep up the good work for all of your fans!! Great to see you back on screen with James. The black and white photographs awesome...similar to Cary Grant and Mae West. I hope the writers incorporate your pregnancy in the story. We hope Samantha will give in to her feelings for EJ and give another heir to Stephano. Even though her initial intention is to save her mom, she will finally able to love the man who wants "every part of her". Mushy I know...Don't you think it is about time Samantha wxperience unconditional love (where she doesn't have to scheme).
Hey Ali. It's awesome to see you blogging again! Congrats on the pregnancy! Completely loving Days right now!!! Stefano being back seems to have energized the show again. Great job on your scenes with James in the stairwell - you had me crying right along with Sami. Hope the fundraiser in New York is a success and that we hear from you again soon.

Ali!!! We have missed you! Glad you are blogging and feeling better. I am pregnant as well, that first trimester can be brutal. My 2nd trimester as great, too..but the 3rd...well let's just say I am more than ready for the little guy to be here!

Well Ali, I would like to start off by saying Congratulations on your pregnancy. How in the world do you fit in working on two shows and doing all the promos and benefits? I wish I could figure out how to fit in as much as you do. I just wanted to let you know I think you are a wonderful, dramatic actress that only you could fill the part of Sami. Not only wonderful at acting, but as a human being. I love the days you are on DOOL it makes it so exciting! lol!

Hey Ali, nice that you blogged again. Congratulations on the girl (my cousin just had a baby girl and he also has a 2 year old son) and I am glad to hear you are feeling much better. I wish you a safe and healthy pregnancy as well as delivery. I hope you are able to get as much rest and relaxation as you can in between your two jobs and life. I loved the stairwell scene this week between EJ and Sami. It was really touching and the kind of romance I would love to see more of on DOOL. I love EJami, you and James are terrific.
P.S. That is great to hear about the auction. Although I can't attend I will be sure to check it out. I think it's terrific that you take time out of your busy schedule to help make the world a better place. You and James are truly an inspiration that way.
