Ron shaved!!!

First of all, I LOVE Tim Gunn. Isn’t he just so awesome?? I loved watching him help everyone shop, Mike not liking pink (lol) and Helen being so affected by all the pretty dresses she can wear now – and seriously? She looked phenomenal. I loved the look on her husband’s face. Tara looked so incredible too – uh yeah, cover of OK magazine!!!! LOVED IT!!

That challenge was so intense. From my angle, there was no way Tara was coming back to beat Filipe. I mean, he had it in the bag! And the way she came back from behind to win again was just incredible. I didn’t know who to root for! I love Tara’s competitive personality (get to know me, lol) but I wanted a victory for Filipe too!!! It was so close, so intense! I was freaking out! And I was so impressed to see Mike and Kristin both overcoming their fear of heights to get through it. It was intimidating being way up there!
I can’t believe it’s Thursday – one more day of vacation for me, and then I am back to work at Days on Monday. But I’m a total workaholic, Ari even teased me as we were getting ready to leave before the hiatus – she asked if I was going to go out and get another job for the break. Lol.
Being with Ben and Megan has been so great. I was making dinner the other night and I heard her cry out from the other room. But as I was grabbing a towel to dry my hands, she stopped crying… I went in to see what happened, and Ben had given her her pacifier, he was saying “its okay, Megan, I’m here. I’m here megan” in this adorable high-pitched voice. It was so cute.
Oops. Megan is awake. Gotta go! 

Ali, I loved the transformations on biggest loser the other night. They all looked so incredible. I hope Laura is ok and will do well at home. I could not believe it when Tara beat Filipe in that challenge! I thought for sure he would win! Ben and Megan are so cute!

I am really enjoying this season of BL! Last year was to full of game play and the contestants were being hurtful to each other. This year there is some game play....but they still remember why their there...to lose weight and be healthy. They all seem to be supporting each other and still cheering each other on! GO BL!

I loved that episode--everyone looked fantastic. I was a little disappointed though in Ron's attitude about the challenge. He always seems so defeatist. I wish he would do things for himself instead of always making it about Mike.

I am so loving Biggest loser this season. I am totally rooting for Kristin this season. She is so motivating it is crazy!

Awwww! How sweet of Ben! My older brother never did that for me when we were little peoples! He used to be so mean to me and jealous of me because I got all the attention! I remember there was one day he actually got me out of my crib and hid me in our parents closet (wasn't he just the nicest big brother? Jk (just kidding)! Lol!). My parents were so freaked out because they couldn't find me! He also used to chew on my fingers for no reason. And there was so many times when he tried to put me up for adoption! He almost got away with it once! Lol! Anyways, I gotta go now, it's lunch time for me! Have fun and good luck!

My husband and I are so inspired by this show- not just about weight loss but by the determination of each participant. I'm in my 15th week of pregnancy and am also determined to stay fit both during and after pregnancy. When we go to the gym we even try out some of Bob and Jillian's crazy moves- I can't imagine what it's like working with them each day.

I'm always amazed at the transformations each person goes through. I love watching Tara find out she's an athlete, Filipe find balance with his physical and spiritual sides, but am amazed how how I can see Mike move from kid to young adult. In fact, any chance Max can make it on the next season of BL??!

This is totally off topic but I just found out today that the actors who played the old Shelle are on GH now. Wow... I almost forgot about them. They should come back to DOOL! Seeing them reminded me how great they were when they were on Days. They made such a cute couple. I never cared much for their replacements, but that's the old lady in me that gets attached to the "original" actors. Always crazy to see soap actors hop around to different shows!
Anyway, thanks again for blogging. Fun to keep up with you and your busy life. Keep up the great work on both shows.

Aw, your kids sound adorable together! I love the makeover episode, but who doesn't? They all look so amazing now. Also, you HAVE to have Mike's little brother on the show. That was just heartbreaking.

I too think it will be terrific if Max is brought on next season. He seems so sad and broken that it breaks my heart, and Im actually worried about him and his emotional AND physical well being. And He has so much weight to lose, It will be hard even with his brother and father helping.He NEEDS Biggest Loser.
I am not a huge fan of Ron.. But I am impressed at what he has achieved given his physical limits.. I just hate that it seems he uses his son to succeed, and makes Mike feel guilty about what might happen if his father leaves. Its more responsibility then Mike should have to carry.
They are ALL needing to be there.. TARA and MIKE and FILIPE are my favorites and I have total faith in them.

(Cheryl) Kirsten Storms tried to return to Dool after Clubhouse was canceled and she was told **NO**.
And I dont think Jason Cook was too happy about that, and left soon after as well. I too could not get onboard with NuShelle (Nothing against MM, or BB)
I dont see Kirsten returning to Day's as she is VERY appreciated as Maxie on GH and all the guys want her (Almost) LOL.. I do hope the writers dont waste what they have and do pair them again..
They have undeniable chemistry.

Aside from that though I'm loving Alison on BL sooooo much. She definately has energy to spare **And with 2 young children... I give you Props Ali.. MAJOR Props.
And Im on the edge of my seat like I used to feel anticipating Sami and Rafe

I think Helen has to be ashamed of herself for not letting her daughter stay. Her daughter needed it more than she did and when they went home she was only with her husband and her son. Where was her daughter?? Helen should go HOME.

BL is a show that really gives those of us hope that struggles with weight. I loved reading about your life as a MOM it is an awesome thing. You have alot to be very proud of. There is no greater blessing. I hope to find the help I need with my weight one day. I struggle really bad and have no idea where to turn. But, I will keep searching. I also enjoy watching you on Days. Keep up all the good work.

Hey Ali, the make overs where awsome! I cried when pour MAX said "I'm the big one" I feel so sorry for him. I have posted before for that I have applied many times to be on the Biggest Loser I need to lose 120 plus pounds! I want to come and work my butt off litterly and be inspired and inspire many others! I pray about the oppertunity everyday!!!
I think sweet MAX needs to be on the show as well! He could inspire so many Too!
Ya'll haven't done singles in a while or I would love to be MAX's partner. Ya'll could take two strangers and make up team how cool would that be. You could just put teams together randomly it's just an idea!! I think Kristen is great I am so rooting for her to win I got scared when she was below the yellow line. I also loved the way that Helen's husband looked at her I want mine to look at me that way again!! It was so sweet!!Thanks again ,

Hey Anonymous, I live in Emory, Tx... I am rooting for Kristin also. She is an inspiration!! I am a little less than her starting weight and I have a lot of health issues. I would love to be able to exchange e-mails with Kristin!! I would love to be able to go to Biggest Loser camp and be able to lose it that way. I also cried watching Max.... Memories!!

This show has been amazing for me this season i have never been over 100 pounds i know poor me that is until i quit smoking and gained 45 pounds that was hard but i am losing it slowly but surely i love tara kristin and mikes determination it is so inspirational

i love the show and i am a faithful watch and really am happy for the people on there that get help but i was wondering how i could get on the show and get some help i am so intrested in changing mylife and really need help before its to late, so anyways i love the show and i am rutting for mike and i am am so glad he wanted to change his live early, but keep going biggest loser people its the best way

Ali, don't know how you feel about the competition when you walk off the set, but you have to admit that Filipe was a bit right. To be the best, you have to beat the best. I really thought Helen would show some class and go head to head with the young guns, but she proved that even 48 year olds with all their wisdom and experience, can fold like a cheap suit because the rules allow them to do so. Up to this point, I really thought this was the best and classiest season ever, but I guess I was proven wrong. As Helen put it tonight, "I don't have any loyalty to either of them". I realized tonight, that neither do I. Looks like I'll be tuning in the next few weeks to The Mentalist on CBS. Looking forward to a final 4 that consists of the best of the best.

Ali, I miss your posts as they relate to the Biggest Loser. I"m dying to hear your feedback on the Kristen and Felipe, as well as Ron's manipulation on getting Kristen out of Mike's way. Not to mention him lying right to Bob's face about it.

Bigget Loser is my favorite reality show. It is the most inspirational show I've ever watched.
I have to saw that out of all the seasons, this is the first time I've not liked any of the remaing contestants.
Can't stand Ron or MIke. I can't stand to listen to Ron talk and now Mike is sounding like him.
I ahve nothing nice to say about Helen so i guess i have to pull for Tara because as much as eveyone ganged up on her through all the challenges, she over came and beat them. :-)
I wanted Sione or Felipe to win because both seemed the most sincere. The others are egomaniacs!!
