Wow. How intense was that challenge? I mean seriously! 24 hours. That bike looked so cool – but man, all night long was not easy. And I could totally understand Mandi wanting to take a break, especially as they knew they were falling behind. Even without Ron struggling to participate, it had to be hard squaring off against a team with Sione, Fileipe, Mike AND Tara. But still, how great was Sione – saying he wouldn’t quit, that he wanted to finish what he started no matter what. And Aubrey totally jumping on board with him. I think that was a defining moment in the season. Deciding to keep going, no matter what.
The up-downs were so brutal. And I don’t just mean the mud. And you couldn’t have asked for a stronger motivation. Bob and Jillian are both such incredible trainers, and they both have such a strong connection with their teams, it’s no wonder they didn’t want to risk losing that bond. It was so emotional to see them say goodbye – Bob talking to them outside the gym, was heartbreaking.
And of course, saying goodbye to Dane was tough. Obviously, in a week where they had to say goodbye to their trainer, it seemed as if ron, cathy and Kristin stayed united.

I forgot about Sione not quiting and Tara in the mud. I've seen almost all the episodes since season one. I've even had a BL fantasy league on my blog.

But, I think I've lost faith in the producers. How can you yank a man off a marathon course to film a fake ending? How can you tell the faithful that he ran a 3:53 marathon, when it would have been over 6 hours?

I wish they would have said Dane ran a 10 hour marathon or Dane got 17 miles in before he had to stop. I would have been proud of Dane. If only.

So, if you fudge on the marathon do you fudge on the workouts? On the weightloss?

Ali, tell me why I should watch next week?

I didn't mean to be anonymous in the comment above. I'm Pat at patsrunning.blogspot.com

ALI i its great to see you back on DAYS looking forward seeing the SAFE romance begin love my GALEN ;)

^^ Agreed! And yup, another great episode this week. At this point, I'm hoping Tara wins...but she's got a pretty big target on her back. That challenge was intense. I know I could never last. It's amazing how far they've all come.

Ali , so good to see you and the Bone Crushing hugger !! How cute is he?? Really have some good wranglers on Days !! Hope they do bring romance to you.. You and Galen are a good match and he isn't a rapist or a mamas boy (although Bryon always makes me laugh). You need stability for awhile. (Until something happens to bring old Sami back , like Nicole) you play off well against each other. Hope your little ones are doing great and of course you and hubby...Megan wil take after you I hope. i may be your oldest fan, but I'll watch til I can't anymore !! lol

Dearest Ali, welcome back!!!
We missed you a lot and all your fans are so great to see you again in Salem, you look great, I was laughing my head off when you and Nicole had your little words of war, was so funny...!! Wow, and what about the new teenaged son you got back today, he is adorable, just like my son who is turning 16 next month!!!
Can't wait to see you interact with all your kids on the show!!
How is Baby Megan doing, is she sleeping well doing the night? I am sure big brother Ben and hubby are helping you out a lot, and I am glad you are doing okay!!!
Was so sad to see Bob and Jillian loose almost all their teammates, especially Bob's scenes outside the Gym where heartbraking!! I wish they would have had another challenge than changing the teams, was a little hard to watch, and I felt sorry for Dane that he was voted off,he lost sooo much weight, good for him!!
Love from the cold North, brrr.....Manuela

Not sure how you managed to stay so beautiful throughout your pregnancy and afterwards. My hat is off to you - I gained 45 pounds with both of my pregnancies. I am still waiting for my 40 pound baby! LOL

TBL is certainly an inspiration. I've got 20 pounds left for my personal goal, and seeing the determination, especially from Tara, is really inspiring. Keep up the good work and I love seeing you on DAYS. :)

ARe you not taking a mat leave?

Dane did not run a full marathon. He was picked up around mile 17 by a Van, and driven to the finish line!

Come clean Biggest Loser. I am fan of the show, but this is an outright lie.

I read he ran/walked 20 of the 23 miles & thus his time at finishing 20 miles was 5 hrs 53 mins....at the pace he was going, another 3 miles would have added about 40 mins...the production crew couldn't wait for him to finish, thus the reason they picked him up so they could record the end. VERY misleading for the viewers.

I hope this gets addressed on the show or at the finale or something. Makes one wonder what else they lie about. How accurate are the weigh-ins? What about the exercises? I loved this show until the last 2 mins last week....the recap of Dane.

Hey Ali, just wanted to say how great you are (and so adorable, i love how you write) I hope you, Dave, Ben, and Megan are doing well.

Love Always-
Emily

This week's episode was heart breaking. Watching Bob's team in that meeting outside the gym and then his conversation with Mandi on the Bonus scenes video breaks my heart. I think this show is becoming so much about the surprise factor and the "what can we do to make it interesting" that the contestants aren't really thought about. I think everything will work out for the best...but it was really hard to watch this week's happenings. Guess we'll start to know where allegiances lie here. 3 Bobs and 2 Jillians on Bob's team and 2 Jillians 4 Bob's on Jillian's team. Might be intersting to see this pan out. I am really sad that Dane went home though. I think it should've been Aubrey.

Hi Ali! How are those babies? Doing great I hope. I also have to say that seeing TBL last week was a little disheartening. For me, part of what makes the show is the bond between the contestants and the trainers. I think I may have felt as lost as they all did after that challenge. It was like someone yanked the rug out from under me! Anyway, I still LOVE the show and I will continue to watch it.
I want to tell you that you look great after having Megan and it is great to have you back on Day's! I am so excited to see what happens with you and Galen, there is a lot of chemistry there.... No offense Dave! You are so much fun to watch, no matter what show you are doing and I want to say "keep up the good work!"

Between Dane's fake marathon and Bob's fake tears, you've lost me as a viewer. Some people take getting healthy seriously - if I want staged drama I'll watch one of the other reality TV shows.
