Boo Hoo, You Had to Make Pizza

Okay, so I gotta say, that Trampoline challenge was SO tough. I tried it after we were done, and when they started raising those bags up higher and higher?? It was impossible to get a rhythm going. I was so impressed with how Hollie seemed so comfortable up there – here cheerleading background obviously gave her the edge! And once again, Neil didn’t win the challenge. I mean, he is so jinxed! But that one round, when Bill knocked him out? It was neck and neck the entire time. I was calling out their numbers, so they would know how close they were… that one of them was going to have to step it up to beat the other. And in the end, it was all about the timing of when that bell sounded. A second earlier and it could have been Bill knocked out. Seriously, it was that close. But ultimately, the Black Team girls had that challenge locked up. They were smoking past the guys up there.

It was obviously such a tough night for Nicole at the weigh-in. Usually she is filled with laughter, and always upbeat, but she felt the writing was on the wall as soon as she saw that -1 on the scale. And in some ways, it seemed like an obvious decision for the Black team. To protect their teammate, Julie, and stick to their original alliance, but its never an easy decision for anyone. And Hollie, Isabeau, Bill, Neil and Nicole have all become close – they’ve been friends and living together (and working together, how funny was it to see Neil doing dishes?!) so it’s never easy to vote someone off. It’s also tough because so close to the end of the game, in some ways, it’s less about ‘needing’ BL Campus, and more about the people you are so close to, your new support system, Bob, Jillian, and Kim, as well as the ultimate prize. Nicole and I talked about how hard it is to leave knowing you were one week away from making it to the finales. It’s brutal! And being a competitive person, I totally relate!


I saw Bob tonight and I had to tease him about hilarious he was in the episode last night. Dave and I are major tivo-ers. We often rewind shows to replay funny lines again and again. Especially funny things people say on reality tv. So, for example, Bob was our winner last night! When he called out Neil during the work out "roll your eyes, I don't care. I can see through your @ss." Or words to that affect. classic. and the other was after Nicole and Neil got back from an exhausting day of 'work', and Bob was there to train them. He teased Nicole about her long day "awww, did Nicole have to make pizza today. waaa waa waa." Bob is so awesome. I love him.


I really liked the montage in honor of the Red Team. Kim had a tough season! And I really enjoyed that little trip down memory lane, and it just got me even more excited for the finale in two weeks because I can’t wait to see how Amber, Lezlye, Phil, Cowboy and B look - will Amy sit with the Black team or the Red? I have no idea, I’m looking forward to talking to her about all that too.

This week was hard, at this point I don't want anyone to leave! Bob was hilarious, I just want to be his friend he seems so awesome. Thanks for the blog Ali, as usual you're doing a great job!

Aw, I think the comments about Neil by "shiva" are harsh and unfair. He was playing the game and his decision to throw one of the weigh-ins may just be the reason he is still in it. I think he really does regret his decision though because as the weeks have gone on, he has gotten very close to the other contestants. Now, he seems like a really great guy who has learned a lot and his weight loss to date is amazing. He and all of the contestants and trainers are such an inspiration.

I totally agree about Bob - I'm sure he'd have me in stitches too.

I felt sorry for Kim this week because she really did love her team but for some reason, I think she had trouble communicating with her team this season. Sometimes, the chemistry just isn't there and you can't force it. That said, in some cases, I think it was just the luck of the draw - "B" worked his butt off and he didn't deserve to go but as they have all said, sometimes, the scale just doesn't reflect all the hard work plus, at this point, they are all working equally hard and it really does boil down to just 1 lb sometimes.

It's game on and I'm excited to see how everyone looks at the finale!! They are all looking so great already! I'm also looking forward to seeing more trainer/contestant reunions - I just loved Bob's reunion with Kae a few weeks ago. :)

I was so sad to see Nicole go home this week. She has been my number 1 pick since the first show. She's got a great personality and she has really come a long way. She looks amazing and has been an inspiration to me!

Oh...and Alison...I love have you host the show. I'm an avid DAYS fan and have been since '93. Keep up the hard work. I don't know how you do it... 2 jobs and a family. I can barely keep up with my one job and 2 year old!!!

This isnt about Biggest Loser so sorry to bust the streak but how do you do that sami angry voice it is awesome. On this last tuesday or wednsday i forget when you like attacked lucas and your yelling NO YOUR MINE and hes all like what are you doing but he's tottallly going alond with it. I just love it. How do you stay so calm at the eliminations on B.L it must be heart wrenching. Im sitting at home just pondering how sami (yes i accidentley say that) i mean allison stays so calm. YOur just like You arent the biggest loser bye bye. The lady last year was balling and couldnt send em away. Bye the way Tel,l the editors to get rid of those darned commercial brakes. ame on days. I am really sick of the black team. I am routing for Neil just so he can beat those guys. I understand that they are sticking together and that is great teamwork, but it doesn't seem to be about who actually is the biggest loser and it's more about who can manipulate the game.

I agree with Kate. I think that this season has showcased all of the negative things of a weight loss show. This season is all about winning money, and voting for your friends, playing the game instead of being there to lose weight, commercials and advertisors sponsoring challenges. I am rooting for Isabeau. She looks amazing, and I really hope a girl wins a season.

the biggest looser is my favorite show to watch Ali is awesome as always. But my thing is well im worried about my husband Dave, he is over weight and the weight just keeps on piling up. We both are over weight, we need serious help and im scared there isnt anything that we can do to fix it. dr's say its thyroid with him and with me they wont say. Help, Ali. Maybe you can offer some kind of suggestion.... thanks again, tina

I enjoy Biggest Loser, however this season I thought there were some things that were blantantly unfair in the show, and some things that were new that were bothersome.
1. Why did Red/Blue times have to vote for elimination before the black team ever returned? That meant the black team came in with a full 6 strong while Blue or Red had already lost a member.
2. The triathlon should have combined all 3 events. It was unfair that everyone was even again on the swim and only good swimmers would win out when in fact Kae had beaten the other part of the triathlon. Usually there is one event that is not the best for triathletes. You should have combined the 3 event times or let the person that finishes start on the next event.
3. What's up with Jillian influencing the votes of the black team members? I'm all for the teams having a coach for work outs, but it should end there - the coach should NOT be influencing or telling anyone how they have to vote.
4. What's up with all the product placement in the show. Really is disheartening for people that have true weight issues when products are touted during the show specifically as product placement.

I agree about all of that product placement! It is a lot. I have benifited from it a little, but I would have loved it if one of them said, "This tastes like cardboard! I'm not eating this!" That would have been funny and then they could have helped them in the tasting lab or something?

Plus, with it being such a commercial and all the commercials in the show, they could at least give the winner more that
$250K! Don't you think? It's sad that the ones actually doing all the bleeding and sweating aren't getting the green!

This year really seems more of "game" than dieting/workouts/losing weight. Some of the more hefty people (women) are in the final four. Is it a record for the heaviset people to be finalists?

I have been watching Days since 88 and really grew up watching you. Your character age is similar to my age and I went through many of the same struggles you did with weight. I love you on Days and I also love you on BL. I never watched it before this season, but I really got into it this season. I was sad to see only the black team make it into the finals, but that is how the game is. I do have one question. Where did you get that top you wore in the reward challenge during the episode that Neil got eliminated. I loved it!!!

I think everyone should be happy about losing the weight. I mean even if you do only lose 1 pound, ou should be happy. That shows you are one step closer to reaching your goal!! GOOD JOB NICOLE!!

I am really disapointed with the outcome of this years biggest loser. I believe that there are 2 people on the black team that donot deserve to be in the finals... they were bailed out more than once by their own teammates, while the people that were really working their butts off got sent home. I think that if i am going to watch this show next year NBC will need to make the voting part of the show more fair. maybe you can have America Make the votes. America would vote for the person that they think are working the hardest not people that are wearing a different color.

I'm tired of watching the men reap all the monetary rewards. It is time a woman won. I'm tired of watching and being disappointed a woman is never represented, so I'm done watching. Women have to work twice as hard for every pound lost. What a disappointment... AGAIN!

Your bring a new light to the show and are looking great, This show is just what i needed to take my life back and make a change. I am a Construction worker from Maine who has a wonderful wife who stays at home and tends our goat farm while i work on the road, so i am going to change for her. of course alis husband is a highway patrolman who was on an episode of dool he pulled sami and lucas over anyway i wish someone had some history on the show what is up with these writers john had a dna test he compared to lawrences that proved he was forest allemain and had the same mom as tony now we are just supposed to forget that and accept that john has new parents now whatever fire the writer yes the one that said when he got there whats up with the incest max is a brady even tho adopted still messing with his nieces that is what he said INCEST now what did he do hook mup stephanie and max and also this show started in 1965 focused around the horton family where did they all go besides hope whos dad married his dead wifes daughter hopes sister half sister that is any way still love sami
