This Biggest Loser seems to be an interesting one. Look forward to the episodes. I have also watched Days for 16 years now and I love the dynamic of Sami and Rafe. As long as you're in the show, I'll watch it and support i because Sami is my favorite character. You seem to be working great with everybody, you're really talented.

Anyway about BL, I know some women have had pretty good chances in BL, but guys tend to do it overall better than girls all the time, they lose weight much faster usually. Are there any rules, at leas when it comes to the finalists that they actually consider men and women are built in a different way and men lose weight much more easily.
At least I'm pleased with the last seasons looks like there has also been women that win, but in the beginning I was always so frustrated, always seemed to be all about the men!
Enough about that.

I should have written this Friday after the August 28 episode, but I just had a small comment - you looked GREAT at the end of the show with the purple skirt, white tank, and black headband (surely an improvement from the rubber band like thing that was going on when you hugged Nicole). You are still youthful enough to pull off these cute fashions and the effort really pays off. It is probably difficult to 'put on the dog' with the intensely busy schedule you keep. I watched the Daytime Emmys last night and was disappointed I did not see you - and a lot of Days people for that matter. A big part of the problem was that the actors that did attend were not necessarily shown by the cameramen. I thought this was the big flaw of the show. The groups from each show should have been 'panned' - even if only once. The ones who attended go to a lot of effort to be there and us fans want to see!!! I thought Kris. Alfonso looked the BEST of all the gals - absolutely stunning. The choice of dress was perfect - color especially - her hair was perfect and her figure was in top form. Hope you will pass this on to her because I would hate to see her go back to the weight she was when I saw her at the Day of Days event. People DO care about her. Some of us have invited her into our living rooms for the entire time she has been on the show. I was also VERY happy to see Mags - mostly because I was disappointed she was not at the Day of Days event. If I take the time to drive to LA for the next one it will be mainly to see her. I thought the Daytime Emmys was very well done - Vanessa Williams did an excellent job; adding Betty White was a real treat; the Orpheum was an ideal location - main complaint was not showing enough soap actors in the audience (who I KNOW were there because I saw Dr. Dan SNEAK behind Lara Spencer during the red carpet event) and actors that didn't bother to show (especially if they were nominated like the gals from the View, Meredith V., and Good Morning America. I was THRILLED that Tamara Braun won for her work on Days. I looked forward to every episode she was in and if Days 'let her go' they made a big mistake. Thanks for the wonderful things you do A........

I watched Days today (Friday) and the address on the envelope to Mia was 1313 Mockingbird Lane - so I guess that means Maggie lives in Herman Munster's house (probably whoever came up with this lame brained idea of an address did not think anyone was detail-oriented enough to notice. So cute to see you hold baby S. (except it seems she is going through a stage when she cries whenever ANYONE tries to hold her (even Mrs. Lowder is no longer exempt). Hope you don't change anything on, or get rid of your blog because we LOVE it!!!!!!!!!

I read all the postive comments from viewers. I watched the show for the first time last night and was appalled when a woman had Med-Evac to take her to the hospital. I don't understand how the trainers/doctors would have let her get to the point where she needed to be hospitalized. Perhaps is sensationalism because it's "reality" tv. With this show and other "reality" shows the thought of people being criticized and humiliated in front of millions of viewers on national TV is disugusting...what kind of a message are we sending? I will keep them all in my thoughts and prayers but I can't and won't watch them or anyone be humiliated.

Well I guess I just figured out the reason your blog is dated September 10 and there were NO comments yet and comments about the new BL were on this blog - IT IS NOT LETTING ANY RESPONSES. So now I have to type all this again. I watched BL for the FIRST time because YOU are on it and I have been watching you on Days since you first came to Salem. It is not that I never wanted to watch it before, it is more a matter of having more to do than capable of - (I have a feeling you can relate to this, but you are physically capable of handling it better than me. I also wish that I had seen you on the telethon. Would like to say that I agree with an above post concerning the contestants health. When a person is out of shape and not accustomed to exertion it can cause heart failure. I am surprised no one has aspired yet doing this show. I suppose it will only be when that occurs that things will change. Mo needs a partner so he can compete fairly. I noticed the very concerned expressions on your face when the gal was crawling to the finish line.

I am rooting for SHEA - what a courageous gal she is......

And on to DAYS - I am LOVING it lately. Chloe waking up, Daniel tied up, Kate wigging out, Nathan and Mel getting close, Rafe and his discovery - SURPRISE AFTER SURPRISE and SUSPENSE SUSPENSE......

Ali, this is the only prime time TV show our family watches. Please tell all the BL8rs that I said THANK YOU a million times over for being willing to open themselves--expose themselves to the world--to inspire so many people. They are giving overweight people everywhere the greatest gift imaginable--a true friend and partner in the struggle. They are the ultimate inspiration. They are an amazing group. I kicked off my own weight loss challenge with the season premiere by trying to beat Daniel's time in the first challenge--do a mile in less than 14 minutes. It nearly killed me! Daniel is amazing. All the BL8 contestants are amazing! Bob and Jillian are brilliant--and I'm not worried about their language--NBC censors it, my kids don't actually hear it. Yet my children do see amazing people doing amazing things. Who can't tell by watching that Bob & Jillian care so deeply about the people they help? They are wonderful. I say, GO! GO! GO! My heart, my thoughts, my prayers, and my best efforts will be with you all. Ali, thanks for your work on this show. You do a great job. Will you please pass along my message to the BL8rs--that I said thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm sorry Ali, Ejami is HOT, HOT, HOT! There is no romance or couple that have even come close to them and their storyline On Days the last couple of years.
I think it would be great to see a "some what of a normal family" on Days. The two parents living in the same house, in love, working together to raise their children. EJ and Sami have both longed for the same thing. A family, something they both feel they never had growing up. I loved the Ejami family scenes last year and I am hoping Sydney will reconnect her parents and bring them back together. EJ has always been there for Ally and we are now seeing him connect with Will so bring it on. Ejami family all the way, they win hands down if you ask me.

Last night's episode is what this show used to be about and why I have watched since the beginning - hard work, inspiring stories, and family friendly entertainment. I was beyond offended last week by Jillian's filthy language, and was actually embarrassed when a friend watched for the first time, on my recommendation. On Wednesdays, several friends and I talk about the show. None of us are overweight but we find motivation and hope in the contestants and their struggles. We are inspired by them, not to lose weight but to reach our own goals. The only conversation I heard about the premier was how different the show is and how bad the language is. I was not the only one that said if it didn't change I would no longer watch. Thank you NBC for redeeming the show last night and for giving me something different, something better. I will continue to be a loyal viewer so long as that continues. Enough with the language - it's not necessary.

Just in case you do not know about it, you can see ALL the cast members at Universal City CityWalk next to Universal City Studios in Los Angeles California this November and you will be able to meet and greet at least a few of your favorites at their respective table where they sit and give autographs. The event is free - you will just have to come up with a way to get there. See the full info on the show page under Day of Days. I went last year and HAD A BLAST!!!! The only one I did not meet that I wanted to was Suzanne Rogers because she and Mrs. H. were the only two who were not there. The feeling of seeing everyone I have viewed for decades is undescribable. Everyone I spoke with said it was so worth the transportation they paid to get there. Single women came ALONE from far places just to attend.....

Since there is not a general comment area for the show some of us were placing them on Dena's blog, but apparently she decided not to keep up with what she started because the last blog from her was about a year ago. She has now blocked my computer from sending any comments, and from the length of time between today and the last comment, she must have done the same to all of us. I did not ever post anything but nice and if negative, they were constructive. She apparently is very thin skinned. It is to be expected that not everyone is going to agree with her as that is not reality. Probably those few really bad posts were from terminated actors because I heard that if she did not like characters, she would either not write for them or write bad storylines. I was certainly willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she has shown her true colors here. She is not a professional. I think the less she has to do with the writing on this show the better - you sure did not see the show's writing team nominated. I would think as many opinions as possible would be a good thing because a regular viewer may have a great suggestion. Sorry, but my word for her at this time is the big "B" word.

No offense, but I come to this blog through the DOOL site, so why are most of the posts about other things? Personally, I'm not interested in Biggest Loser or the NFL....I'm interested in DOOL, but it's been months since anything related to the show or your character was posted. Since this blog is on the DOOL website, don't you think it would be more appropriate to use it for DOOL posts? I'm sure you could set up other blogs on your own website for people who want to read everything else.
