BL7 Gone Wild
First, lets talk about those ‘wall sits’. They are HARD. I mean, seriously hard. I’ve had Jillian stand on my legs as she took forever to count down before I could stop. And believe me, it’s brutal. And… Tara won. 4 minutes?! That is really impressive. No wonder Tara’s legs wouldn’t hold her up after. She needed to sit on the stairs to figure out what to do. And she spent forever making that decision, I’m not sure if it was because it tough working out all the numbers, or if it was because she needed to rest.
Obviously tonight’s theme was ‘FACE OFF’! And the face-offs set up at the Pop Challenge made everything about this week so intense...
Everyone really got into the match ups. Filipe is a good guy. From day one, his enthusiasm and outgoing personality made everyone like him right off the bat, but it’s his sincerity of heart that seals the deal. He won everyone over right from the beginning. And it was clearly his passion that led to a separate face-off between him and Jillian.
24Hour Fitness was the host of another challenge. This relay race was amazing. Mandi made quick work of the obstacles, she ate up a lot of the lead on Tara. It was so awesome watching the girls going so hard core all the way to the end. The blue team was faced with more frustration, while the black team earned quite a victory prize. That spa looked – let’s be honest – fabulous!! The pedicures, the massages – pretty sweet. But wow, ‘acting careless’ was an understatement, right??!! They definitely took the luxury to another level – and it was tough seeing them regret it and be unhappy on the scale.
Jillian has her ways – they couldn’t really have expected to keep the evening a secret from her?! The black team was ‘crusin’ for a bruisin’ ans my dad would say. That confrontation was tough, but definitely an awakening.
And the heartbreaker for the blue team was that if it had been a regular week, not one-on-one, the blue team would have won. As a whole, they beat the black team’s percentage. But the black team managed to stay whole for another week. And Mandi ended up doing an unbelievably courageous and selfless thing. She made sure Aubrey would be on campus for at least another week. She sacrificed herself for her sister. And the emotions were truly at a peak in that elimination room. Everyone was affected by the gesture. And I was so happy to see how great she looks, how gorgeous her kids are – isn’t her son cute?

First of all, Filipe should go home or get with the program.
Childlike behavoior should not be rewarded. He is on the Black Team and that is it. In life, you do not have to like everyone (including your coworkers, but to stay part of the show, he should be made to be part of the team). From the time he was seperated from Bob, he has been upset, get over it. Life isn't always fair and you can not blame everyone else.
Bob needs to be standing behind Jillian on this.
If this continues - I will probably quit watching.
I think Filipe was right, I think Jillian did him wrong by not working out with him one on one. We never did get an answer from her as to why she did not work out with him. I think him and Sione will go back to Jullian team next week to continue their team workouts.

Grow up Filipe!
Filipe was wrong is absolutely right and Sione should have never followed him. Filipe is acting like a BIG baby. He is very disrespectful and I hope he goes home soon. I actually loved them two and then when they had to go on Jillian's team and acted so badly that was disturbing. If I didn't love the show so much I would stop watching. Bob should of backed Jillian and I hope they stop showing the part where Bob was sniffling with Sione and Filipe when they had to go to Jillian's team. Too darn bad. Life isn't fair babies...on top of that who's team has been winning every season....hello!!! I don't blame Jillian at all for going off on the black team...I was horrified to see them indulge that way. If I was their trainer I would have tore into them too. So now that I have vented I feel much better....thank you!
I'm going to steer clear of the Filipe controversey and ask what sort of medical condition kept Kristin out of the challenges? I thought maybe it was knee-related, but Ron is participating. Are we going to get an explanation next week? Kristin is my favorite player and I would hate for her to be sidelined from working out due to an injury!
I think the show was intense. I can not believe the black team made such poor decisions to over eat be lazy and drink too much. They have been on the ranch for 9 week the should have know better. And as for Filipe he is acting like a spoil little brat Grow up man and take control of your workouts Bob will not be going home with you when this is all over you have to lear how to do your workouts on your own. Jillian isn't responsible for your work out you are. I know it helps to have personal attention but you could have asked her for one on one training. She is only one trainer with 6 people to train. Stop thinking that the only way you will suceed is to have Bob be your trainer and take responsibility for your own success.

I, too, am wondering what medical concern kept Kristin out of the challenges when she did participate in the last chance work out? If she's able to do treadmill, etc.....why was she not able to do the challenges?

I also didn't like the way that Filipe seemed to be blaming Jillian- she didn't make him pig out and choose to not exercise!
I can understand Jillian being upset. She really cares about her team and it seems like they don't care about themselves when they blow it BIG TIME the first temptation they face
I think this program is disgusting and extremely dangerous to the participants. The continuous weeping, moaning, yelling and badgering makes me sick. The wait loss achieved in such a short time will not last. It takes time to change habits, it involves sensible eating and exercise, you don't lose a hundred pounds in three months and typically keep it off.
These extremely morbidly obese people being put through such extreme physical torture will eventually result in someone being seriously injured or worse. A weight loss of 2 to 3 pounds a week is how sensible and permanent weight loss should be achieved, by going through torture for the world to see on a television program is not going to result success. The biggest loser makes for good television but it doesn't send the right message and could be hazardous to ones health or worse.

I too would like to know what kept Kristin out of the challenges, she is my favorite. I was so happy to see Many make the choice she did. She looks awesome I can't wait until the season finale.
Mike is the only sensible, mature person on the black team. How stupid of the others to gorge themselves, get tanked, smoke, and enjoy it on camera. HELLO....DO THEY NOT THINK PERHAPS THEY ARE BEING FILMED AND JILLIAN WON'T FIND OUT? Whahhh I can't train without Bob...please Filipe, you signed up for this "game" knowing full well there are always surprises. Maybe next week they'll decide you won't get any trainer. Better yet, Jillian takes you back and gives you that workout you deserve but you can't handle it. I hope Kristin's health concern isn't to serious. She is a good person. I really hope the blue team can make it happen next week.
Great episode last night. I'm not happy with the way Filipe behaved...but I guess we all have off weeks? Poor Mandi! I was really hoping Ron would step forward and say it was his time to go. There's only so much he can do...
The black team really got what was coming to them though. Hopefully, this will be the wakeup call they need, and they'll never do that again!
Very emotional last night! Kudos to Mandy for putting her feelings aside & walking away with her head held high! Mandy you go girl...Filipe, suck it up Buttercup, Jillian is just as great as Bob. Put your feelings on the back burner and suck up what she is trying to teach everyone. Her ways may be different from Bob's, she may be a hard ass...but you will definitely have the hard ass when she is done!
I think it's a shame that everyone is being so hard on Filipe. That's such an emotionally charged situation, and we don't get to see everything. I can't imagine how hard it must have been to sit there and listen to Jillian scream at them when he had that festering inside. Yeah, he was screaming, but you could tell by his voice that he was barely keeping it together. It's easy to call Filipe immature, but he did what he thought was right for him, and Jillian failed him too.
I was completely disgusted in both Filipe's and Bob's behavior. Why didn't Bob send Filipe back to Jillian to clear up the issue instead of coddling him? Filipe went out, ate and drank whatever he wanted and once Jillian confronted him (them), he threw a temper tantrum. Nice way to avoid dealing with with what he had done - take it out on the one person who actually wants to see him succeed. Suck it up or go home already.
Wow. That episode was REALLY REALLY REALLY intense... I think everyone on the black team (Except for Mike who couldn't drink or smoke even if he wanted to because he's underage) was being really stupid when they had their 24 hours of luxury. In my opinion, that is one of the worst prizes you can win. This episode, I actually got up out of the couch and started SCREAMING at them. Lol. My parents gave me this really weird look.
Anyways, I understand why Filipe felt mad at Jillian, but dont think he should have gone storming out without letting Jill talk, and he shouldnt have gone crying to daddy bob. This kind of annoyed me because after expressing his feelings to Jillian, she could have apologized and focused on him for the last chance workout. If he would have done that, he could have dropped more than 1 POUND!
Speaking of that, the weigh in was CRAZY! Seeing Tara lose ZIP ZERO ZILCH was CRAZY!! Seing Laura GAIN a pound was also INSANE! Tara could have made a milestone and lost 100 pounds or be less than 200, but NO. They had their 324125253 tequila shots :| Stupid stupid mistake..
There were so many things I was wondering yesterdays episode. What was wrong with Kristin? Why couldn't she participate in the challenges? Hopefully she gets better because her weight losses might go down. Also, in which episode will Alison have her baby? Its really funny how everyone (Cough* LAURA *) is LOSING weight and every week Ali is gaining weight. (Ali, if your reading this your probably skinnier thant you were before you were pregnant now :D)
So hopefully the Black team will lose their cockyness and stop being babies.
Bob sabotaged his own team. He spent no time with Mandi because he was spending it with those two guys. You got her on film saying that she wished he was spending time with her. She had the biggest challenge, in her match-up, of anyone, and he let her go home because he liked those guys coming to him.
For those who think they shouldn't have changed trainers, and for those two guys who don't want to work with a new trainer, who are they going to work with at home? Not Bob. Not Jillian. Maybe just the remote control.
The thing that killed us about Filipe is how he did not want to take responsibility for his actions re: the spa trip. He blamed it all on Jillian. He CHOSE to sulk thru the workouts, instead of going up and asking when was it his turn. He CHOSE to gorge himself at the spa, and when Jillian called him on it, he shot back like a spoiled child. That being said, I can only hope it's the stress of it all, as Ali has consistently pointed out to us. Any comments out there re: Tara's comment before they started pigging out? Note how she said "We're going to win the weigh-in". Pride goeth before the fall. Last bit, at first, in the moment, I wanted Bob to take them back to Jillian to work it out. But when he said that it's not about the game, it's about losing weight, I got what he meant. Nice touch on showing his quote on the wall to back that up. And no, I don't think he sabotaged his team. Mandi was stressed. She could've compensated with the calories, or her body just shut down. How many of us had our bodies react with hives, etc. when we've been stressed? That's how hers responded.
Filipe. . for real? It's okay to learn from other people even if they have a different style. If you have watched other Biggestloser there is no doubt that Julian's cares for her folk. If I would question any one playing the game it would be Bob. Another season he competed so hard to pick his team and he took the stronger players not his original team. He is all about winning. Julian's' people always win and that's why Bob was was really so mad. Julian will take whoever and work them to their potential. So think about that Filipe. We are all trying to be better people some further along than others but, the journey exist for us all. I think you said it best. . why did you let your trainer get in the way? This is your journey. I totally agree. Get over yourself they are both excellent trainers. . .
I think what happened couldn't have gotten any better. Filipe had every right to voice his opinion to Jillian about not working him out and not taking time with him. Put yourself in his shoes, he's trying to lose weight and needs a trainer to help him accomplish that. All those peeps that say he is a baby and to grow up, come on, give him the benefit of the doubt, he was mad, nobody thinks rationally when they get mad. He needed to blow steam and thats just what he did. I thought it was funny that Filipe and Sione went and worked out with bob!
I think the black team were feeling very guilty and probably hung over from all the food and alcohol, not to mention the ones that were smoking. Being in a smoking environment is a hangover in itself and then add all the food and booze on top of it - I did not envy them. I think that is why Filipe lost it. And the blue team - how could they have been so stupid to vote Mandi off versus Ron - they might as well concede next week because Ron is not going to help them in competitions. It was great to see Mandi now - good for her - I know she is going to take the $100,000 for the at home weight loss. Mandi rocks!

I felt sorry actually for the black team to have won the challenge this week on Biggest Loser, it was soo crazy to see them to behave so badly, they should have stopped the relaxing at the spa and not to go crazy with all the food, booze and cigarettes!! No wonder that Jillian got mad at them, don't blame her!!!
As for Filipe I do think that he felt what he said to Jillian was real, I could see in his face that he was very serious. But I don't know that we can blame Jillian for it, if he felt left out could he have asked for help? Sometimes we have to help ourselves, I do think that Filipe misses Bob, they do had a very good working relationship and don't blame him for wanted to go back to him!!
Poor and selfless Mandi, she thought about her sister first and sacrificed herself for her, what a good sister she is, I admire her for it, and she looks great at home with her family, you did it girl!!!

Did anyone stop to think that the producers paid for the contestants to eat crap and drink and more than likely fixed the weigh-in so that they would not go home as a reward for them on command of the producers over indulging themselves. Kinda like in season 5 Bobs' blue team kept winning all the challenges that were clearly made for his all male team to beat Jillians' all female team because the producer wanted Bob to win. I also don't like the way Bob and Allison Sweeney never back Jillian they always kiss ass of the producers. In season 5 when they showed Jillian supposedly cursing out Allison. Bob and Allison knew that she was cursing at the producers but said nothing. Now that bug-eyed loser Felipe goes off on her for his eating crap and they go to Bob and call her all kinds of names and despite the fact that Jillian is always outside of Biggest Loser promoting Bob he lets them talk junk about her. Then Allison Sweeney on her blog says Felipe is a good guy and basically blows smoke up his ass about how passionate and inspirational he is. I say calling a woman a BITCH and saying he put her in her place is nothing inspirational and quite neatheral. Bottom-line they say women are the weaker sex I say look at BL and you will see the truth. MEN ARE HANDS DOWN BY FAR. CRY BABIES DON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBLILITY FOR WHAT YOU DO AND BLAME THE NEAREST WOMAN WITHIN EARSHOT FOR THEIR DOWNFALLS. IDIOTS. AND THE PRODUCERS SHOULD BE ASHAME. MONEY WHORES IS ALL THEY ARE. Wow.. its crazy for the black team, they know better they need to take care themselve than foolish. I guess it gave them a learn lesson now. About Filipe, I understand he felt left out and had not get a trainer work with him. I dont blame him got temper front of Jullian, and did not give her to speak. Felipe should discuss with her how he feeling but hes holding his breath. Its part of his fault. Siome should not involve with him. I hope Kristen is allright since she wont be particating any games. I am rooting for her since shes so nice and pretty lady. Bravo Mandi for standing strong than selfish to vote off other as agreed (his sister, Audrey done wrong to vote Cathy off to get even vote)
I remember I watch last year, Amy ( i believe her name) did have the problem with Jullian as Felipe has, she went to Bob's team. Its very similar for them and thier feeling toward Jullians. I love seeing Julian kick/push black team.

Guess what, it's not the producers' fault if Helen is a recovering alcoholic who goes to a spa and drinks. That would be Helen's fault.
Temptations are everywhere and are part of every life. All of these people are recovering food addicts yet confront a fridge every day.
It's a big spa with tons of things to do. She and Mike (who didn't drink) could have gone for a swim while the others boozed it up.
She could have opted for an early night or -god forbid- worked out. She could have done what I do- guzzle club soda with a twist all night. Helen is responsible for Helen. End of story.
