Ali's Special Announcement
I was so nervous and excited to share my news with Bob, Jill the contestants and crew of Biggest Loser. I didn't tell the producers or anyone I was going to do it! I talked to my husband about it - we both agreed that I wouldn't be able to keep it a secret much longer - so he helped me figure out how to say it, and I surprised everyone at the weigh in! It was so sweet - Bob swears he knew it all along, and Jillian was like "no way!"
You can even hear my friends on the crew freaking out! My make-up artist, Corina, has been doing my make-up since I started Days in 1993. She's the one who screamed in the background! :) It was a really special moment.

Ali Congratulations!!! I love you on Days! I grew up with Days my mom watched it. It was strange for me because I can remember the now Roman Brady as Chris Kosicheck many years ago. I'm sure that spelling if way off. I guess that tells you I am getting pretty old :o) As much as I loved Sammy & Lucas... I have to say I really like EJ & Sammy now, I hope that works out. And you are a great host on Biggest Loser. You have compassion in your voice and excited for them. I look forward to watching you gain your weight with that precious little one. I thank you are a wonderful actor but take care of yourself a pregnancy can take a lot out of you and you probably have a full plate take the time to pamper yourself and your unborn child sometime we push our selves to hard and don't realize it. Congratulations on the incredible news!! Babies are the most precious things (I am a nurse on a maternity ward and see the little cuties everyday). What is the expected due date? I wonder that they are going to do with Sami's character while you are off caring for your newborn????? Can't wait to find out!! I just finished watching the Oct 21st episode of The Biggest Loser and I felt so sorry for Amy P. tonight. Actually for the whole week. Unfortunately, it seems as though she was surrounded by people who are just playing a game and the whole weight loss thing is just an added bonus. She was truly in it to the best of her abilities and I am glad that she was able to maintain positive with such negativity surrounding her due to a few of the others on the blue team. I cannot fathom why people live with negativity in their lives - gossiping and the likes of such rude behaviors. Anyway, congrats again and I look forward to seeing you flourish each and every day on Days and each and every week on The Biggest Loser!!!

I'm a little dismayed to see Sami pregnant again, but I have hope that the writers will fix their past wrongs and make the baby somehow be Lucas' and not the spawn of Sami's rapist.

Congrats! My first daughter (12/12/06) I named Samantha (Sammie). My second daughter (5/20/08) I named Alexis (Allie). I thought about naming my second daughter Allison but was overturned by my husband who kept referring to her as Lexie. Well I still get Sammie and Allie. :) Anyway, I hope you are flattered as (other than the fact I love both names) you are the main reason I used those names.

Ali, congrats. When is the baby due? I can't tell from Biggest Loser, since some days you look "more" pregnant than others. I love you on Biggest Loser. I've watched Days since the first year. I was so lucky in 1981 to meet Doug and Julie. They were so great. For us old timers, they have to be my favorite. Especially the love songs Doug sang to Julie.
