Now about the movie "Cars"....OMG....I love it!!! And so does my 3 year old....his whole room is decorated in all Cars stuff.....I must have watched it 100 times....How cute is Mater?....Before i seen the movie i was like "Thats an ugly truck, why would anybody buy a comforter with that on it".....but now that i have watched it.... Hey Ali, thanks for the blog! I always love them! The behind the scenes stuff, ALL your extracurriculars, but mostly the mom stuff. I have a 4yr old twins and a 3yr old boy so Mater and I are tight as well . . . it really is a cute movie! (yeah no frantic fast forwarding needed!) I get my biggest laughs watching my husband chuckle at the same jokes everytime and look down & see my boys (and girl) all laughing too!

Ali, I have a 2.5 year old and a 4 year old and we are Cars central over here! Is it me or do you cry at the end EVERY time. It could just be me. I seriously need to look away or I will tear up. I love that the hubby laughs too!

Hi Ali, you have been doing awesome work on Days and Biggest Loser. I wondered how you were keeping up such a hectic schedule and doing everything so great. You are wonderful as Colleen and Sami on Days. I don't know how you do it. I'm so impressed. I'll tell my husband about you on the Jerry Lewis Telethon then. He watches it some that weekend and we'll definitely want to see you on the show. We've donated for that cause before. I had a blast meeting everyone on Days at Martha's Fan event in May. It was a great time and I sure missed you there. Maybe next year we can meet. Get lots of rest when you can. I admire all the great work you've doing and the energy you have. Hello Ali!
Just want to say what an inspiration you are to a new Mommy! My husband and I are brand new parents of a precious 6 week old little boy and I love to read about all the things you do with your family. I'm taking notes for all the fun things we can do with him as he grows (note to self: purchase CARS at next trip to the mall).
I will watch the MDA telethon, albeit bleary-eyed, to see you and I wish you the best! Congrats on such a wonderful 'part' to play.
Oh, one more thing...EJAMI, EJAMI, EJAMI...and also, EJAMI. OMG, they can't kill off EJ! That's GOT to be a nasty, nasty rumor. The chemistry between the two of you is like MAGIC! And James is some major eye candy for the show-that certainly doesn't hurt-thank God for Tivo, watching him blink his eyes at you makes many of us in T.V.land melt! Can't wait to see the wonderful changes in store for the show.

salve ali, auguri on such a great honour...you will no doubt make a fantastic host for the MDA. after working two jobs while attending grad school full time, i understand your dilema in trying to stay awake through the night. i'm italian, so for my all-nighters i always had one of those big 12 cup Mocha espresso stove top carafes ready for me...and though i don't suggest becoming a coffee addict (cause the withdrawal afterwards is killer) a good strong cup of espresso is sure to help you:)

i'm enjoying the roles you and james play on days, and especially enjoy the meta-narrative of colleen and santo. it's clear that you've both put so much work into the roles...needless to say it causes me to procrastinate when i'm supposed to be writing...but it's a great distraction. i wonder, is the writer responsible for the dialogue italian?

I think you're great. I love the fact that you are so upbeat and positive. I must say you must be on cloud nine as far as work goes. You are doing all of these fun things and it seems like working with fun people. Since work takes a lot of your time I think it's important that you enjoy it. I think it's awesome that your character is working with Bryan and James. I know you have to be professional but I would have to pinch myself and say I'm working with two of the hottest guys on this show and these characters are both in love with my character. You need to do a chapstick commerical or something LOL:) Your lips must be pretty dry kissing those guys all the time:) On that same note, I just love the fact how you and James can look at one another and express how the characters are feeling. Call me old fashion but I love that part. Now if the writers ever get Sami and EJ together I think you might feel the earth move:) That's because all of the EJami fans are jumping up and down with pure excitement.

What a fun blog! I have been watching Days since highschool (I am now 31). Anyhow, I just quickly scanned through this and had to pass on a compliment to you. I am a mother of 2 (I laughed at your post cause yes, sleeping till 11am is amazing!) and now my 6 year old daughter sometimes watches the show with me. She asked why everyone kisses so much today! HA!

I have no idea how you find the hours in the day to do it all...but you do a wonderful job on Days:)

FYI....midnight is 12 AM, noon is 12 PM. No biggie and a common mistake, but just thought I'd let you know.

I just wanted to say that I love you and think you are a wonderful actress. You are definately the best on the show (no offense to anyone else). You are so beautiful and a major part of why I still watch Days. You are doing such a great job as Colleen right now. I mean you sure nail that accent. But I have a major concern I would like to see you address at some point. I am a major EJAMI fan and would love to see Sami and EJ get together. But I read somewhere that if the writers put Sami with EJ, you would quit! That broke my heart! Please tell me it's not true! I think the show could really take off into new heights if EJAMI became a reality. Please address this. I am really concerned.

First of all, I think you are an amazing actress! Your role of Sami Brady Roberts has just gotten better and better over all these years. I have watched Days since 1965, and enjoyed all the antics of Julie (the first "Sami type") and she also grew up, just like Sami, but yet you both are feisty and independent women who can handle any problem which comes your way.
I am really happy to hear that you will be co-hosting the telethon. I have muscular dystrophy--I was diagnosed when I was 18 years old (I am now 52) and I have always tried to help on the telethon, even before I knew I was one of "Jerry's Kids". I think Jerry is a wonderful and unselfish human being--such a good person to devote his life to this cause. I hope they find a great person to carry on the tradition---any suggestions? How about you???

Hello Alison! I think it is awesome that you are taking on all these new and exciting (I bet) ... what do I call them, jobs?.. adventures?.. With the Biggest Loser (I admit Im gonna miss Caroline Rae, but hey, I think they found an equal--better!-- replacement; also with now this telethon, I do hope I can catch it. (Im sure mom and dad will be watching... every year, like clockwork..)

As for Days:.. first of all, I am not one to listen, or pay attention to gossip, I hate hearing all these rumors that Days is ending.. please dont say it is true!! I will cry! You guys are like the family I wish I had.. Marlena's would be my mom, you my sister, "Bo" my hot uncle (hey my life is like a page outta Days-minus Thaao Penghlis)--btw-Thaao makes a fine-looking woman. lol.. okay I was a bit freaked out when I first caught Weds' episode.. anyways.. ok, I just want to say, I like EJ, but PLEASE have the writers stay with Lucas. That relationship has been a very long time coming. The writers need to put EJ on a restraining order from Sami & Lucas. In real life that is what would have happened a long time ago. But alas, this is a soap opera and not real life. Anyway, keep up the good work. I love watching you and can't wait to watch you on the biggest looser.

BTW, I have a 3 year old boy and a 20 month old girl. My son LOVES Cars too.

Today's Days episode (Sep. 6) was by far the best episode ever! The acting between you and James was unbelievable. BTW, I am now watching TBL because of you. I'm so happy for you. But please don't ever leave DOOL. Sami and EJ are the best couple in the history of DOOL and us fans want to see them for a long time to come. I believe they will be the ultimate supercouple, just wait and see.

I love Days, and over the last few months it has been so great. But I HATE the idea of Sami and EJ getting together, it is completely ridiculous. I love Sami and Lucas,please keep them together.

Hi Ali. I have to tell you that I love Days. I've watched it for years and even got my mother hooked on it. My kids know that they can't bother me when it's on cause I just won't pay attention to them LOL (just kidding of course cause there is always TiVo so I can rewind it). It makes me melt when I see you and Lucas together but there is also something about when you and EJ are together. I'm not sure who I would want you to be with more. You can get together with EJ and I will take Lucas...LOL! I'm also a huge fan of The Biggest Loser. All the people motivate me to want to loose weight so I am going to try and start up my own Biggest Loser with a few of my friends. Keep up the great work.
