Ali, It sounds like your life is just getting busier by the minute. This is the first time in quite awhile I've been able to post a comment on this blog. There was a point wher your new Mom blog was gone and I'm wondering if you know what was up with that? I will say watching Sami bring Kate down was great, but it was evern better was Sami dancing around the apartment with her wedding dress and just lettin loose. Of course Nicole showing up was almost Sami's down fall, but putting Nicole on the fireescape was classic. Hope Ben is doing well and being the happy baby that he is. Hard to believe he's almost six months old. As the saying goes kids grow up so fast right before your eyes. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see how schemes her way out of dmitting that she is Stan.

I'm am a big fan of Days and I was rooting for Sami and Lucas to get together for so long that when it happened I was ready for that wedding, then of course Kate had to spoil it and it made me almost want to stop watching. The day the Sami got back at Kate and Lucas took her back on the next episode was Great!!! I really enjoyed watching Kates life fall apart. I'm just hopeing that the whole Stan thing doesn't come out because Sami and Lucas deserve to be married now. Do you Think They Are Going To Make It This Time and Have Another Little One Join Their Family????
Also - I have a little boy that was born right before Ben - They are great at this age when they start to enteract with you more and more. What a fun time in your life - Congrats!!!

I hope Lumi stays together this time. The writers have gone a little crazy with yours and Belle's story lines. Good luck and hope to keep watching you.

Hey Ali, I just wanted to say that I have been a Day's fan ever since young Sami was on the loose, her mom possesed by a demon (I was too scared not to watch). It's been 10 years now! By the way, you look terrific! How did you lose that baby weight? You are amazing, lol. I hope that Day's finally allows Sami and Lucas to marry and add to the family! "She" deserves it after all the conflama (conflict + drama = conflama)of late! Take care!

I've been watching since I was like 9 or 10 years old, it's been great watching Sami turn from a crazy teenager into a beautiful and slightly crazier woman. Hi Ali, I'm so glad you posted again. I always wait patiently for your posts. I like to see what you've been up to. I just got back home from L.A. and my boyfriend and I and our kids went to NBC and took a tour through there. It was a blast! I loved seeing all the furniture and rugs,etc., that you all use to film with. The tour guy mentioned however that the person that sets up the furniture and walls and that is there until 3:00 a.m. Those are long hours. I don't know if I could do that. LOL I want to mention something that when I seen the furniture that is used in filming Days, it's sure old and beat up from being moved around and it looks so good when it's on air. LOL It doesn't even look like that. I wouldn't have known until that tour.

I read your blog on your website and wanted to say that it's good that Ben likes his vegetables, cause some babies don't even like that stuff. My girls didn't really like it all that much. As they grew older, I taught them to like their vegetables. I told them that it makes them strong and healthy. LOL

Well I'm glad Wayne is back on set again as the Dr. now instead of the old Roman. I like the new Roman (Josh Taylor), he plays Roman real good.

I think Kate should have way more punishment, Sami should tell Lucas right now and get it over with. Lucas should forgive and forget. Kate should be shipped to a Dimera island...lol she could be Tony and Bart's wench ;o) take Bonnie, Jan with her. I enjoyed your scenes with Nicole, maybe you too could start a private detective agency =o) Although i am still ticked at her for what she did to Brady. Chloe needs to stop whining and get over herself, there are people with worse problems...example Phil lost a leg! I want Bo and Hope to be happy for longer than a day, Billie can go to the island and take Chelsea/Georgia with her. (by the way please tell Jer we are tired of the drug out storylines we all figured out Georgia was Chelsea from day one. Shawn and Belle need to be together and it not to be Philiecreampuff's baby. Ali, You look terrific how did you do it after the baby? I was just commenting yesterday to my Mom how great you looked, that little camisole type top you had on was so cute it's very slimming also. I hope they leave Sami and Lucas alone and let them be happy. I would so like to finally see Sami get her "happy life" she wants so bad. I actually feel sorry for her and think while the things she does are crazy and she shouldn't really get away with them, that she does them because she is so desperate for love and attention. I think if she finally married Lucas and had the life she wanted she wouldn't tend to do that all the time. However, it would make Sami to boring not to have her be a little bit of a risk taker still. Why are they bringing Austin back? To break up Sami and Lucas, that would be like a repeat of the Sami/Carrie/Austin triangle. I hope they let your character finally be a little happy! Keep up the fantastic acting you are terrifc.

How are you. I'm really glad that Sami and Lucas are back together. They seem so much happier. I guess having a new baby and having to deal with the show can be very hard to deal with at times. I just wanted you to know that I love you as an actress and would probably love you even more in real life. You are one of my favorites on the show and definitly my boyfriends favorite. Can you do me a favor and tell the writer not to let Lucas find out about Sami and Stan because that will ruin everything between Sami and Lucas. They need to give them a break and let them be together finally. And I also have heard they are bringing Austin back. WHY??? I hope he doesn't interfere with Sami and Lucas's life. Well gotta go. Wow! All the memories from reading these posts!I have not watched Days since 1996. I have got alot of catching up to do. Sami and Lucas together?! Wow thats a change though I always thought they should be together. I always loved the charcter Sami and glad to know Alison is still Sami.

Wow, I really loved Kate's downfall episodes. The ice cream one was pretty darn good too, but I loved Sami's happy dance so much I had to download the song. The way you feel about basketball is how I feel about baseball, I could watch it day & night. I can't believe the season's almost over. I took my sister to her first Cubs game this year, but they lost. It was still fun though. Keep up the great work on Days, I can't wait to see what were in for. I just hope Sami gets her wedding day to Lucas eventually and Lumi is happy!

I have been watching Days, since I was a little girl. I always felt closer to Sami than the others. Not because we are "wicked" or anything, I think it is the sense of wanting to be happy, and trying to make it happen for yourself. But Smai is not you and you are not Sami; but I still think you are an awesome woman. And the most important thing is that as an actress (you)... we viewers cannot see you acting, like I can with some other movie & comedy actors. We all know you are acting, but I mean to be able to see past that and only see the acting. Those are what I call Bad Actors. But you are just awesome. Most excellent!
You have to get this one book- for when Ben is older- called "Parts" by Tedd Arnold..... so funny and awesome all in one. There are two more books to that series. "More Parts" and "Even More Parts." My son (almost 4) just loves them! Baby Einstein are good too, for Bens age.
I am not too good at basketball.... all I can do is free throws! LOL! But I love baseball, and football. Both my teams have been losing, but I am still a loyal fan! AZ Diamondbacks (baseball) and SanFransisco 49ers (football) even though it is pre-season, I have faith in them! Steve Young caomes 2nd only to Joe Montana! Woohoo. They are brilliant at what they do.
As for questions..... I just wanted to know if you are enjoying yourself, in your everyday life (when not so busy working and what not)? And really, we all get stressed from time to time, what do you do to cope? I find that writing helps me. Even if it is about nothing, just ramblings.... getting those feelings out in a peaceful way seems to really help me. But as you can see, I am long winded! LOL
Well, I really wanted to say that you are still one of my fav's ( you and Bryan, of course hehee )..... please never stop doing what you do.
oh, and...... I think it would be so awesome if you and Bryan were to be in a music video ( as Sami and Lucas ) specifically for Days, but by a real talented band! I think that would be most excellent!

As an avid Days fan for 20 years (and I'm 29 now - lol!), I was screaming in utter delight when Kate got her just desserts!! Way to go, Ali!! I'm a huge Sami fan from way back in the beginning! If y'all break up again, I'll be severely heartbroken.

How neat that I just found your blog. I've been a Days fan for a long time - ever since I met Michael Easton many years back - early 90's sometime in Palm Springs. He convinced me to start watching, and while Tanner didn't last long, I quickly became a Sami fan! My son was born in October 1995 and I had just returned home from the hospital with him after a c-section and there was Sami, having her c-section. It was great to watch after having just gone through the same thing, well, minus the drama. My son is almost 10 now.

I agree what you said about Sami being simply misunderstood and I don't see her as villain at all. Her intention is never to harm anyone, just bring happiness to herself and her family. She just goes about it in a wrong way. I attest her more to a Lucy Ricardo type of personality.

Lucas is great for her, and I hope Austin doesn't show back up (ever) and screw things up.

Great job, Ali, and congratulations on Baby Ben (a real baby this time!) Enjoy every moment, it all flies by way too fast (as I look at my almost 10 year old!)

Really enjoy the show. Especially Sami/Belle situations. I heard and it sure looks like it that show is catering to younger crowd than older folks like me. Hope not. Days is the only show I watch (after recording it so I can watch after I get off work). Even guys working in a shop during their lunch make sure they watch Days. How can one get autographed photos of certain cast members since we are located where they don't usally have signings and ball games etc. Keep up the good work - oh, why do they always have you crying, your character is seemly tough I think.

Ali is Days. The show couldn't go on without Sami Brady. I defended Sami on another site and it was my pleasure. Go Sami and please, please walk down the aisle this time Ali. Please. I want that so bad for Sami.

You are great on Days. When you are on screen, the show just moves so much faster. I fast forward through other parts (Chloe's whining) but never when you are on screen.
And, I must say, you look fabulous since having your baby. Motherhood must really agree with you! You just look so happy on-screen. Actually you glow!

Ali, I have watched DOOL since 1969. And you have kept me in stitches and tears more than any other charactor on the show, and there are some great actors on the show. You are funny, loveable, infuriating, and any other adjective that can be applied to a personality, and you do them all so well and believably. I am happy that you and Lucas have finally gotten together but I am afraid that Sami will do something really crazy again, and Lucas will never forgive her this time. So if you all have any input to your charactors storyline ask the powers that be to leave you two alone for a while. Congrats on baby Ben. He is a real doll from the pictures on the blog. I have watched you grow up on DooL, and think you have become a terrific actress. Someone else mentioned it, and although they had a hard time getting their point across, I think I know what they meant: When someone is 'acting' and it is obvious, you get too caught up in watching the acting, instead of enjoying the story and getting caught up in that. You are so smooth and in character, that it is inpercetible where the line crosses between Sami and you. That is a GOOD thing for us viewers! :) It is something my daughter taught ME from her acting classes.. lol. Yep, she's an aspiring actress, but she wants to stick to theatre. :D (brag moment: she's got a FULL scholarship in the theatre department for her major this year)

I wish I had found your blog long ago. I had wondered if you were off having a baby or some other family crisis or something while "Stan" was on. I always laughed at the idea of them trying to make us think that man was you. LOL. I guess y'all could pass for brother and sister though. Oh, and there was that thought my hubby and I had while discussing Days one evening... that your brother Eric could come back and it be the young man who played Stan.. Sami and Eric are twins right? So why wouldn't it make sense that if turned into a boy, Sami would look like Eric, right? Only Eric doesn't know all the crap that went on, and the plotting Sami that she is, sets her own brother up to take HER fall... LOL... just an idea. ;) I know, just another drama, right!? i hope that Sami and Lucas finally walk down the asile without any truble from anyone and that Kate Nicole and Jan go to jail

Well today is the "big day" on the show.. your wedding to Lucas! I hope Sami finally gets her perfect wedding to a cutie pie like Lucas! After all the trouble with Austin, Sami deserves it!
