Fun fact about Meredith: I'm a bookworm. I use books to escape whenever the power is out. I love readin'. I thought about joining Oprah's book club, but all books were about Caged Birds, Mockingbirds, and that boring Jane Austin crap - not interested.
I'm thinking about starting my own club for all the people out there that don't like those dumb books. Below is a list of my favorite novels that I'd wanna discuss:
· Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea by Chelsea Handler
· Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren - Red head in pigtails and stockings...Classic.
· Sex by Madonna - Another classic.
· The Reader by Bernhard Schlink - Hott! There’s somethin' about Nazis...
· Wilt: Just Like Any Other 7-Foot Black Millionaire Who Lives Next Door by Wilt Chamberlain - Once you get through all the basketball crap it's pretty entertaining...wish he lived next door to me.
· Interview With A Vampire by Anne Rice - I've always fantasized about getting boned by a vampire.
· Frankenstein by Mary Shelly - I've always fantasized about getting boned by Frankenstein.
Lemme know if you'd be interested in joining. And if you got any book suggestions, hit me up.
Yeppers! I wanna join it.
New book "Imbibe!" by David Wondrich and Dale DeGroff
Not a novel, more of a 'how to' book.
You HAVE to read this story - right from the Scranton Times - Pass it on to the writers!! Only in Scranton - a guy falls into a vault below the sidewalk - in front of a bar - named WHISKEY DICKS hahahah ... http://scrantontimes.com/news/man_rescued_after_sidewalk_collapses
Meredith, you gotta call your book club an "erotica" book club! Erotica is just the term intellectuals use for smut, but we all know what they're talking about.....and if you need a palate-cleanser that's also high-falutin', try "Everyday Drinking" by Kingsley Amis -
The Kama Sutra is a book. A GREAT book......
