Jack and Tina, a lot of the storyline is Liz juggling work and personal life. Do either of you struggle with that?

Tina: Jack went to pee. So he's juggling his needs. My husband and I both work at the show and we have a baby and yes our life is very full. It's wonderful, but it's a balancing act, trying to figure out who's going to take care of your kids when you have both have to get up at six and are working crazy hours. But at least in our case it is really a labor of love.

For Carol- How is Alec in person?

Tina- You know, you can ask him yourself. Alec Baldwin's actual, real number is 555-0999. I know that sounds fake, but seriously...just call it. I swear it's not fake. Ask him yourself!

Jack- Yeah, it really does sound fake but take it from me...it's Alec Baldwin's real number!

Tina- Actually...he's talented and cultured and always a gentleman.

Jack- You can actually learn from him. He's such a professional and helpful and clued in technically with the acting process.

Any advice for people getting into comedy?

Tina: If you live near Chicago, I recommend Chicago Dramatist Workshop or Second City. If you're in New York, take classes and practice at The Upright Citizen's Brigade. If you live elsewhere, I don't know... Jack?

Jack: For the rest of you, just use family dinners for improv practice. It's really great. You can do the Alphabet Game!

Jack- I haven't been mistaken for Clay Aiken recently. Right after he was on...what was that show?

Tina- AMERICAN IDOL!

Jack- When he was on that show, some people did. Now we sport the same bangs. We both represent the South.

Emily: Sitcoms you loved growing up?

Jack: Cheers, Cosby Show. Must See TV like Friends and Seinfeld.

Tina: I grew up in the heyday of sitcoms. Mary Tyler Moore, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Bosom Buddies. I was in love with Peter Scolari!

Jack: See, always living on the edge. And by the way I've never even heard of any of those shows.

Tina: That's because Jack is only 14.

Can Tina replace Conan in 2009?

Tina- I would be terrible at that job! I don't like people and you have to talk to people for that job. I am painfully shy. Jimmy Fallon would be perfect for that job, he loves talking to people and is so good at it.

Jack- Lorne put it in my contract that I get to be the first guest!

What to expect from The Girlie Show

Tina- As you hopefully saw tonight, Jenna is heavy in a few episodes. Kenneth tries to seduce Tracy's wife in an effort to make him jealous. Kenneth got to do a love scene. Will Arnett is back. David Schwimmer plays an environmental mascot for NBC. Liz MAY have a pregnancy scare. Floyd and Dennis might make an appearance.

Jack- It's people trying to get their personal lives in order and do a show. Kenneth the Page might be returning.

Tina- Kenneth will have a pregnancy scare!

Tina: Probably I like Wham now more than I did then. Then I was probably just joking.

Jack: She just liked Andrew Ridgely. Cuz she's edgy that way.

Tina: MILF made it on fine! I don't know if they didn't know what it was or if because it was an abbreviation it was okay?

Jack: Last year, Toofer and Tracy had a racial discussion where they couldn't use the "N" word in because it's so sensitive, even African Americans can't be seen using it!!

Tina- Physical fighting? Alec would snap Steve Carell's neck.

Jack- Alec would destroy the cast from The Office, then turn around and take on the 30 Rock cast.

Tina- Just to clarify, that was Jack's answer.

Beth: What were your favorite episodes? Blind Date, Black Tie and Hardball were mine.

Jack:Actually those were mine too! I liked Blind Date, because that was my first chance to work with Alec. I liked Hardball because everyone had a chance to shine. Jane K. had a chance to do physical comedy and did a fantastic job. Plus we had great guest spots with Chris Matthews and Tucker Carlson.

Tina: I loved Black Tie, because of working with Paul Ruebens and Isabella Rossellini. And because it was so weird! Hardball. Fireworks...because Jack nearly blows up Manhattan.

Jack: ...and because I got sexually assaulted!

Tina- Well, we are all capable of doing a musical. I think Scrubs did it perfectly. I think our 30 Rock theme will be availabe for a ring tone. I wish I could help you out more, but I am 37 am not supposed to know how to get it.

Jack- You don't look a day over 42.

Second City Alums

Tina: The people I know from Chicago... Kenneth, Scott Adsit, Rachel Dratch...we were at Second City together. A lot of the other writers like John Lutz and Rachel Hamilton are also friends of ours from Chicago.

Jack: Just having Tina and Jeff Richmond reaching out to help people that they worked with is wonderful, because now we have JOBBBBSSSS!

Tina: Jeff Richmond, my husband, produces and also does the music on the show.

Tina: I played the flute in fifth grade. I played the hustle. I thought I'd fake play it but they had a teacher to teach me it. I think ultimately they had her playing over me though.

Tina- The writing classes I took in Chicago were at Chicago Dramatist Workshop. If you could afford it, take it. But, the improv is great at Second City.

Hanging with NBC Pages

Jack- I actually did hang with other NBC pages. When I was doing bits on Conan O'Brien, I was just hanging out with pages while waiting. But for the extremes that Kenneth goes through, that's all in Tina's head, with the help of white wine.

Tina- Our fans might want to know we are drinking right now!

Jack- Yeah!

For Doug- Good improv games?

Jack- One good improv game is to write a spec script for 30 Rock!

Tina- This should be easy.

Jack- New Choice! People play a scene and then somebody says NEW CHOICE and they choose the style and actor the person has to emulate.

Tina- I am a fan of Jump Styles. Where you start a scene and somebody shouts out an actor or scene and then the person performs in that style.

Tina- We should play the game now! "All I'm saying is that you I'm not into you."

Jack - "But your body language tells me otherwise."

Tina - "Cuz I'm drunk!"

Jack - "Damn straight."

The Writing Process

Tina- Our writing staff is really strong, they deliver very good drafts. It's nice, the actors have room to play and to improvise. It's mostly on the right page.

Jack- It's mostly on the right page. They are very observant of the actors who they are writing for. They know I am addicted to chapstick, so now Kenneth uses chapstick.

Tina- With Jack, there are words he can't say, because he's not smart. Like the work, "calendar". That's too difficult for him.

Jack- I didn't understand half of what Tina just said.

Tina: First I don't think there was a toy version of the Death Star. In any case, Millennium Falcon all the way! I had huge crush on Han Solo.

Jack- I usually like wearing a tie in day to day life. But, as Kenneth- Yes, we are one of the same.

Tina- My goal is for Jack's character is when he's an old man, he has to dress like Kenneth the Page, like Bob
Denver from Gilligan's Island.

Jack- And I'll do it, y'all!

How did you get Jerry for the show? Were you excited? And any plans to use SeinfeldVision in the future?

Tina: I'm not sure! We got a call from Ben Silverman (the new boss at NBC) that he'd spoken to Jerry and that he was willing to do it...so he did it! Don't know if physical violence was threatened. We were totally excited, of course!

Jack: We were thrilled to get him. Also because he came from a show that struggled in the beginning (like another show you might have heard of). And, yes, SeinfeldVision will be taking the place of our time slot next week.
