My schedule

The show is set to comeback somewhere around the third week of September. It will put us back in the writers' room in late June.

You have a deep beauty in an All-American girl way (backwards compliment?), and if I wasn't so damn happily married, well . . .

When did you decide you wanted to write comedy? Is it something dark and secret, or just fun?

Tina:

I know this is coming out of left field, but I wrote a full-length feature screenplay that would be perfect for you. I am a legitimate writer (member of the WGA) and a film professor.

The script was read by several studios / production companies (via my manager in L.A.)... everyone loved it, but said it was cast dependent.

Here's the concept:

LOGLINE

In the vein of MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING, the top marriage counselor in NYC falls for her biggest rival as well as the patient they’re both helping.

The tone of this irreverent, fast-paced story is akin to SIDEWAYS, while the banter between the main characters is all Tracy–Hepburn all the time.

Is there any way I (or my manager) can send you the script? I am in the process of speaking with investors.

You would be perfect for the lead character... I really think it's a great fit for your sensibilities.

Is NBC going to rerun any Season one episodes during summer?

I hope the network won't break up the season (i.e., new show, repeat, skip three weeks, new show) that just frustrates fans.

Yay! I'm glad the show got picked up. Will be watching in September!
