Thank you so much for watching and thanks for getting online with me. I hope you come back and watch us again. Who cares about baseball? Who cares about Dancing with Stars? Wouldn’t you rather see Tracy Morgan get a face tattoo?!
I really appreciate you taking the time to post. Have a great night!
- Tina
I'm hoping to travel soon, any other sites to find good cheap hotels?
Excellent site! Stopping by to show you cosmetic surgeons what it is!
With the cost of gas going down so rapidly latley do you think it is cheaper to drive than fly when traveling?
Greast site guys! And nice post too!
Hey Tina,
Why doesn't NBC get Palin and you to do a spinoff sitcom called "30 Barack"... What? You want me to build on the idea? I just came up with the name of the sitcom. I could easily write the show... But hey, you guys are whiz-bang "writers" getting pantsloads of money ... YOU build on the idea. Cripes!

Good job. I loved youre site, keep it up.
Good job. I loved youre site, keep it up.
So, um, I posted under the wrong thread. Apparently I am hard of reading.
Tina - Loved tonight's episode! 30 Rock still rocks! Yeah, I know that's lame, but I couldn't think of anything else while I was scrolling past the 600 Levitra spam messages. What is the DEAL?
You da best!
Good job. I loved youre site, keep it up.
Hello, I'm from C.A. Your show is great Mrs.Fey! The problem is that I didn't get a chance to watch it last week. Then some new show went on the past Thursday when I was suppose to watch your show. Is your season over? Is your show changing its day?
I watch your show here in Brazil... And I love it!!!
Please, invite the MTM cast for a special appearence... please!!!
I love this show! I think it is one of the funniest new shows I've seen in a long time. I hope NBC will give it some time to build a following because I think this show will get great ratings over time. It may be the next Seinfeld!
Just wanted to say that I find 30 Rock to be a refreshing show. Great cast and great writing. Alec is right in his element. Don't lose him. Unfortunatly we tried the "have Alec call your friends", but it doesn't work in Canada. Oh well. Great show and please keep it on the air.
This is a great show - you have the makings of the next Seinfeld here, perhaps even better. Keep up the great work! (Note to NBC this is a show people will watch and get into - but you need to give it time for this to happen. Please.)
Tina, you are hilarious! I love the way the show is progessing and I really like how you got Alec Baldwin to be on the show. He is a comic genius, and not just because he hosted SNL so many times. Hope he gets that golden globe!
Tina,
I love the show! It's can't miss funny! I live each day like it's Shark Week! Alec is key! And NBC said I was wasn't qualified to be a Page back in 2002. Aaaaaaaw, Keeny!
Hi, Tina. I used to take classes at Second City when you were there and thought you were awesome! My favorite scene you did was either the stripper or the monster in the classroom. I remember Scott and Rachel from the show, too. There was another lady who was awesome too, her name was Jenna. Is it a coincidence that Jane plays a Jenna on your show?
Hi Tina I love the show. I just saw that it was moved to thursday night at nine, woo hoo, this is great for me. I have three small children and had trouble watching at 8. Is this a good move for the show? Keep up the great work, I really enjoy and appreciate it. Paul
What a great show Tina! 60 Rock is my favorite new show this season! You are a great role model for women in comedy and I've loved your work for a while. Keep us laughin!
I tune in to see Tina Fey! Not tracy. I like the show, I like Alec, I like Jane and there should be more Rachael, but Tracy sucks! Sorry TM but I cringe every time he's on screen. More Tina! No TM. Maybe if he were Eddie Murphy, but he's just annoying and obnoxious.
I enjoy the show for the character performance and inside jokes, hope ratings keep nbc execs happy , after all you guys are so ahead of the golf channel..
I love this show! No laugh track is a good call! Anyone catch when Tracy was saying 'I have a yacht, gold jet skis ... the AIDS monkey's bones...". That line was killer!! Great writing!!
Brains coupled with beauty and an incredible sense of humour - Tina, is it possible to have you cloned so that you can marry me up in Toronto.
Great show - good luck..!
Nice job Tina. You've come a long way since you did bank ads for me 10 years ago up in Milwaukee! Keep it up.
As a ge co-op you're show is dead on. I hope it's on for a long time. Hopefully it'll be up on itunes I have some co-workers who would like to catch up but have a terrible time streaming from the episodes.
wow alright,
buddy with the anti liberal rant, you need to calm yourself....way...the...hell...down,
politics are something we created to help structure life, life wasn't made to help structure politics,
,hahaha
wow i feel like i'm responding to something written in a bathroom stall.
the shows great.
So are you.
P.s, I caught you conan,
very funny, i'm sorry junk is ruined.
I'm shocked and appalled at how bad this show is.
Tina-
Please tell us they made you dumb it down.
Please please please.
Why so much LCD Comedy?
(Lowest Common Denominator)
It literally feels like a UCB sketch- no direction, slapstick humour, sight gags, lame execution...
I'm amazed that a show full of such talented people could be so inceredibly juvenile and unfunny.
Baldwin was the ONLY funny part.
Tracy Morgan is about as talented as Adam Sandler, with about as much range.
And the strip club scene?
Are we REALLY to believe Tina's character would STAY in a club rather than snagging a cab to get to the studio where HER SHOW is going live?
(Or that this strong feminist is gonna hop onstage?)
yeah.....right.
I want that 1/2 hour of my life back.
I'd say 22 minutes, but then you guys had to pull the oven trick and show us 3 identical commercials.
Shame on you NBC.
But I won't be fooled again- I won't be back.
I hope they kept the door open for you at SNL....
Or that the "devo deal" you have with them is for 2 projects, cause this one ain't long for this world.
I LOVE THE SHOW.... its fresh and funny.....
Im a HUGE Alec fan of course, but the entire cast was just fabulous....
GOOD LUCK! I'll be watching!
Tina, the show is great but sometimes the last minute ending physical antics within a scene are not neede and seem stupid and predictable. But otherwise i luv ya and always have.
Tina:
I think you look really cool with glasses. Have you always worn glasses or did you switch to contacts? Keep up the good work
Ha! You are right, Tina! Katherine Harris looks so divorced!
Take *that* women of America who can't hold onto your men. Wooo!
incredible show, but if NBC decides to cancel do you have a ending ready to satisfy your shows instant fans?
love the show, hopefully many more to come. Can't wait for a dvd full of commentaries and outakes.
Hey Tina! Your show is great! So far, so good. I mean, what other show has somebody pelting Alec Baldwin with a water bottle, lol. By the way, I'm taking ALL the hot dogs. Hope you don't mind, lol. Keep up the great work Tina. You are the funniest woman EVER!
Great pilot. Look forward to more.
Tina, you are cordially invited to post whatever you want at my blog, too.
I thought the shop was awful. Alec Baldwin - overacts!
I am so in love with Tina Fey. Seriously. And I'm not saying that because she's funny and hot and I just watched her prancing around with nice cleavage. No, this is the real deal - the kind of thing that only time and repeated nudging of your friends while saying "The one with the glasses is hot" can engender.
Thanks for this show - I like it, and between this and Heroes, I am actually watching t.v. for the first time in years instead of just having tv happen to me when I can't sleep.
I was frightened by 2 things in the first episode.
1. The triple confection oven.. or whatever it was.. that made an appearance not only in the show but in an ad in the first ad block. I hate the fact that I thought it was made up to begin with and it turned out to be real. I don't like having my head messed with.
2. Tracy Morgan's GIGANTIC HEAD! Seriously.. scary stuff.. when he was in the soul food place he reminded me of one of the kids/sportstars from the gatorade big head commercial where the kids are pretending to be sports stars and have the GIGANTIC HEAD of said star. Please tell him to eat something.
Other than that.. great show.
I've been blogging for over four years, and I can assure everyone that this is just a "commercial site" and not a real blog. It's sites like this that disgrace everything it means to be a blogger.
P.S. Rachel Dratch is hot.
hey! that was great tina. for a long time you, tracy, and rachel were my stone favorites from SNL. i'm very happy to see you all together in such a great show.
thanks.
I post on serveral boards but do the bloggers actually READ any of the comments/feedback.
Always wondered about this?
I've haven't seen the show yet
(sorry) I'm trying to cut down on TV, altho I have watched Ugly Betty.
I'll take a look but be wary, I might end up watching it like SNL (and Mad TV)-TAPE IT!
And FF thru the unfunny parts
(the Weekend Update usually is NOT one of them) good luck and I'll give it a glance.
BTW NBC/GE don't even THINK about losing Keith Olbermann.
Dear Tina-
I wish you much success with your new TV show. Saw the pilot last night and thought you did a terrific job.
Having watched SNL for quite awhile now, I have the same suggestion for that show as I do for yours. KEEP TO ENTERTAINMENT AND NOT POLITICS!!!
I realize that the staff at SNL are all liberal Democrats- that is their American right to be so, however, when one tunes into a show that is supposed to be comedic and listens night after night of Republican/Conservative bashing, it gets old very fast. I now mute the “news” on SNL because I am tired of listening to the liberal posturing.
Having hired Alec Baldwin, I was wondering if his fanaticism would be a part of your show. You did not surprise me with comments made last night.
Please remember that over ½ of voting people voted for the Republican/Conservative ticket and you will be offending many if you persist on bringing your liberal points of view to the show.
I do wish you success, Tina, but please take seriously my comments. We want to be entertained by your show, not lambasted by political comment.
Tina and crew -- GREAT PREMIERE! - Loved you at SNL, and I'm glad you're continuing with great wit and sarcasm. I love the real NYC scenes. I've got you dialed in on my Tivo - every week. Even funnier was GE advertising ovens during the show - I kept thinking it was an SNL-style commercial.
How did this show make it to the air? We can only hope it is cancelled quickly in hope of a quality mid season replacement. In the entire half hour I did not laugh once nor could I tell where the jokes were even supposed to be. I want what ever the writers at TV Guide were smoking when they picked this as a hit comedy.
Tiny,
As the Headwriter of Days of Our Lives for a total of of 7 years (not to mention the 'honor' of writing the dialogue when Luke raped Laura on General Hospital--we'll talk), I so enjoyed the show. Did have to convince my husband I didn't spend time in strip bars, but wow can I relate. Try and get at least one good night's sleep this season.
Sheri Anderson Thomas
Liz is very likable…just like Tina. A bit overwhelmed, nerdish, sassy, and funny. I’m already on her team. I wish the show well. You might want up the number of jokes and keep the humvee drunk driving to a minimum, but otherwise it was quite fun. I'll be watching next week =)
Hi Tina! I used to go see you every week at SNL! I sure miss you! I'm going to try and hunt you down because I have some school projects about you that I've always wanted you to have. I have class during the show so I ran home to catch it. My dvd recorder kept skipping, so thank God it was online to view. It was great and I will be a loyal fan always. You are an amazing woman and the last real role model. Keep up the amazing work. :) And please get Jimmy on!!! I'm a huge Fallon fanatic!
Man, that was pretty awful. None of the jokes worked. I can't believe Tina Fey left SNL to do this piece of crap show. They need to fire everybody involved with this turd and start over. When they start over, they just explain that hit Tina Fey took to the head at the beginning of the show was just a very unfunny dream. The good news is that in 2 weeks, this show will have just been an unfunny dream.
just saw the first show on pacific time. Great new show, I love SNL and have always enjoyed when alec baldwin was on SNL, so this was a no miss premier and I was not disappointed. will watch again.
Tina I love you!!
The show is great!!!
Keep on the good work!!!
Oh I'm so p***ed at myself- really! I fell asleep earlier and just woke up. I've been really tired this week. [Esther Rolle]Damn Damn Damn!!![/Esther] Help. Tina's so beautiful I wanted to support her. When's the repeat!?!?!?!?!!
We always knew it! You cannot imagine how cool it is to see you doing what you do best! Your ever loyal fans!
That wuz perdy funny. It mat just be the paint thinner talkin, but I aint laffed that hard since my brother wuz arrested for performing unnatural acts with a mailbox
That wuz perdy funny. It mat just be the paint thinner talkin, but I aint laffed that hard since my brother wuz arrested for performing unnatural acts with a mailbox
Congratulations on a truly excellent first episode.Great writing, great acting -It feels like a winner.
Lorne Michaels, you make us proud to be canadian.
id go gay for you, tina. thats how perfect you are.

I loved the show!!!!
Now all you need is Jimmy to join you. Hope its a hit!!!
I'm sorry, I know I'm getting on the nerves of someone somewhere,
but i just got these ideas man, and they're like bust'n outta my skull man,.... to much yeah.. to much,
jimmy should play a cult leader or memeber trying to recruit everyone on the show,
great right, yeah i kno...
what? not great?
infact really bad?
oh okay, well, i'll just go then,
but in closeing, to quote everyones favorite irish barbarian and late night talk show host
"Seacrest Out"
Good show! I hope they give it some time to find an audience and don't pull it after three episodes. The Dick Van Dyke Show wasn't successful in its first season and they gave it a chance and now it's a classic. This show definitely has a lot of potential and I'm glad it's finally on the air. Good luck to all of you and keep on being funny!
oh yeah, znd another thing, you shoudl consider putting josh blue on from last comic standing whos a friend of mine and a damn funny dude... just a thought...
later
HI, TINA, I THINK IT WAS GREAT, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE TO PUT ALEC CHARACTER, MORE EVILNESS-CONFUSING THE VIEWERS, VERY NICE JOB.
Tina, you need Jimmy as one of your boyfriends that work out! Definately. You guys have amazing chemistry together. And everyone wants to see you guys kiss.. so do it!!
And your show is awesome!! I live in California so it hasn't came on yet over here but I already watched it on this website. But for sure i'm gonna watch it again when it airs. I can't wait!!!!
Since when is it okay to put strippers on a sitcom during the 7:00 hour??? Can't anyone write something worth watching anymore?
Just because the Mets game got cancelled and you got lucky doesnt mean the show will last Tina. You will be fired just like you fired me.
funny shih---tzu. funniest thing ive seen in awhile actually... good luck yo
Fey, I noticed that during the "Goodnights" segements of SNL you wore a piece of prop from that show's skits you were in. Any significance?
Thanks for taking time out to answer our questions! BTW the Mets vs. Cards game was cancelled tonight. So I guess you got lucky with those fans to watch the show! j/k! I love you and your show and you rock and I'll let you go!
Just remember, Jimmy Fallon and Let's Go Mets!
Not bad Tina. I'll watch.
I think people who are watching the show from the west coast missed the blog. Let's do this again next week.
Hi Tina,
Congratulations, and thank you for bringing another VERY funny, quality show to NYC
I'm an Actor who just moved back from Hel-L.A. via Chicago and in the midst of Internet apt searching, selling my soul and first born for a place on the upper westside, I caught your show....excellent!!! ... I Have never responded to a blog in my life...but felt compelled to this time....I've been a die hard SNL fan since I was a kid in the late 70's, and know quite a few of your colleagues from the show and CHI town...I wish you all the luck in the world and many seasons to come...You have a Rockin cast! and a fabulous show
Cheers,
Antares
Best of Tina Fey DVD.
We're all waiting for it, when's it coming out? And what can we expect to be included in it?
P.S. Love 30 Rock
LOVE the show! I think it's the best new show of the season. Great cast too!
Oh My (insert your own favorite word)
I'm a genius, there should be a death threat an on alecs character, so he hires decoy look alikes ,
all of his brothers
yeah i know, being this talanted can be a burden at times
I'm so bummed! We live in Denver and just started watching your show and the blog is over? :-(
Email me - I have a friend in LA - big producer and we are trying to come up with some good movie ideas..Vicki
jimmy should be a ocd bike messenger who is an spiring comedy actor who hangs around the studio. Now the coctails and the real wrap pary begin!
Nite all!
WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jimmy should be a wig stylist
and is plotting to steal conans hair
Tina?!
What happened? I loved you on SNL and have been looking forward to your show but where is the comedy? A piece of ceiling fell on your head and I didn't even laugh. Showcase *your* talent more please!!!
Best wishes,
Paul
Really great show!

Thanks TFey. The only person funnier than you is Ozzie Guillen. I'm gonna watch baseball now.
Make me proud.
that tracy character reminds me of the guy from SNL... whats-his-name? Eddie Murphy?
I love ya Tina,
You should do this again soon!
I enjoyed it and the show very much.
with love,

Copy and paste this link to view 'Zer0es', tell me what you think.
Tina,
I am such a fan of your work! “30 Rock” definitely seems like a promising show for NBC. I can’t wait until the next episode!
Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to talk to all of us!
goodnight and thanks for this, and all the laughs,. The show is great
Ask Tracy if I can be in his posse. I'm a thirty-something white lawyer from the South. Ask him if he'll put me in charge of hanging up his coat when he walks into restaurants and stuff. Let me know if he needs a resume.
Later 4 IIII's
great start, best wishes on a long run.
Thanks you, Tina, for taking the time and for all your contributions to the comedy world. I hope you have unreal success with the new show and in all your future work.
take care,
E
yet again tina fey thanx for living and being in our lives
Do not do anything stupid. And do not let the hubris of Alec rub off on you. Amen.
Goodnight Tina! It's been great fun being on line with you - Thanks and please do it again!
patty cake likey 30 Rock
does this mean you are leaving all ready?
Tina, It was great! You are one hell of a writer!
Now that the Yankees are out of it, anything is better than baseball. Can't wait to see next week's episode!
Hi, Tina, I gotta be honest. I never really liked the sketches during your era on SNL.
A lot of those sketches seemed painfully awful, and I'm not the only one who says this.
Heck, even MADTV felt miles funnier than recent years of SNL. Anyway, with that said, I'm
pretty much guessing there was a lot of pressure coming up with comedy on something as fast-paced
a show as SNL, and so I can understand that. I still think you're a good writer though
after watching stuff like Mean Girls. 30 Rock doesn't seem to take on old-style comedy, but it seems OK
so far. I hear you're doing a comedy with UK comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. Would you ever consider working
with the likes of Steve Coogan, Armando Iannucci, and (this is if you had a chance in hell) Chris Morris?
Tina- you have a great nite too, you all rock! Have a coctail for me;)
good nite tina fey!
Keep up the good work!
You're the best in the biz!
Gosh, I forgot to mention how much I enjoyed being able to "talk" with you! A dream come true, considering the long overdue letter is sitting waiting to be completed in my hard drive. Procrastination sucks. Goodnight and thank you so much! I look forward to next week!
Click on my URL to view 'Zer0es'.
Goodnight; goodluck; and your show kicks the a$$ out of Dancing with the Stars. Hands down.
Night! Enjoy your time with Alice! Before you know it, she will be teaching you things!
Kyrsten
Thank you for answering our questions, have a good one.
Goodnight Tina. And give Alice a good-night kiss from me! :-D
*cheer*
You have a great week yourself, Tina. And thanks again!
Dear Aunt Bling-Bling,
The rice patties we so carefully made slowly melt away in the ceaseless rains. Sgt. Silverman has become more irate then usual. Any day now, they will order us to donate our socks to the tree car. I seriously think it is time to consider a career change. I’ve always loved the tropics. Perhaps tomato farmer on the plantain plantation would be fun?
Your Son,
Matthew.
Holla!
Don't do anything stupid.
Apparently my mom cares about Dancing With The Stars, but that's a whole other story.
Tracy getting a face tattoo is much better.
I can see him running around screaming out, "I LOOK LIKE MIKE TYSON!"
Night! Thanks for the laughs!
Exactly -- who cares about all those things!? Screw homework! I'm telling my crazy bio teacher tomorrow that I didn't finish the worksheet because I was too busy TALKING TO MY HERO, TINA FEY!!!
on second thought, I better do that homework. Fay (the bio teacher) is scary. True inspiration.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, TINA!
It was really thrilling to have you around answering questions. I definitely hope you have the time to do this again sometime.
Best of luck to you for the rest of the season! I'll definitely keep watching.
-Ceanna
Goodnight; goodluck; and your show kicks the ass out of Dancing with the Stars. Hands down.
Before you go I wanted to ask (perhaps it's too late), you mentioned GE’s reaction earlier, and I wanted to ask how much of an impact does the corporate parent’s potential reaction have on the material you write?
I ask because in the season premier, Weekend Update was significantly more critical of the current administration (e.g., Seth Meyer’s “9/11 Report” is history) than when you sat at the desk and wrote for the show.
Do you feel that the softer “edge” of the show under your leadership was due to possible concerns about not offending GE (as you hinted/joked about), or is the change in tone more a reflection of the current political climate, including the success of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report?
Thank you so much! I have to finish my homework now.
(I'd rather see the face tattoo.)
Can't wait til the next episode.
Hi Tina! I really liked the show. I know this is kind of lame, but I made these a while back, and I hope you get to see them. http://tinafeywwfchampion.ytmnd.com/ http://tinafeyface.ytmnd.com/ Thanks, and good luck with the show! Sorry to keep posting this, I just really want you to see them!
Yeah, Mario Lopez pelvic-thrustingis overrated. Bye Tina! Call me! orsomething.
good luck. not like you need it.
Thank you Tina, I love you!!!!
Thanks for the chat.
Good luck with everything!
Thanks again!
night
_julia
You too!
Great show Tina!! I can't wait to see more! :)
Tina, YOUR GREAT!! Congrat's on all of your success! How has the "FIRST FIVE YEARS" of SNL(1975-1980) affected your career? I couldn't wait for Saturday Night's back then!!!!
